I really don't like being told what to do. And per my earlier discussion with wake it seems like this is a good way to get more info to analyze.
How exactly do you intend to lynch mafia if you're not going to listen to other people? Are you intending to just come up with every single case on scum yourself or what?
I'm genuinely asking. I've never heard of a mafia player who just "doesn't like being told what to do" because that's just needlessly obtuse. I don't even think it's scummy. I just think it's bad.
What exactly am I responding to?Retired.

Oh.
No, it's not necessarily a "crusade" against TSO for not doing a thing; rather, he's a player I'm intending to focus on during this day. I've played with him three times and townread him in every game I played with him. He was mafia in two of those games. I have absolutely no idea how to read him properly so I want to start pressuring him out of the gate to see what he does when the spotlight on him early.
Sure, his not posting while he should be posting bothers me, but that's not why I'm doing what I'm doing. If this is how you intend to handle my TSO pressure, then I'm perfectly okay with that.Retired.

VOTE: FA
His switch from a decently-reasoned vote on Grib to what reads as a dumb jokevote on Shinobi is vomit. Even worse is that he softpushes Grib shortly afterwards and then does nothing to engage Shinobi.
@FA, what're your updated thoughts on Shinobi now that he's explained his intentions behind pushing for a TSO wagon?
decently reasoned? They were both random votes. Gribs original statment read to me like a simple conversation starter, not really worthy of scum reading. There are pages and pages of random garbage in this game.
Shinobi's 'reasoning' is meh IMHO. He says he was 'pressuring' a player that was not even here and in need of a prod.
Considering that even said player agreed that it was good reasoning, I'd say "meh" doesn't really cover it since a large number of people agree with meandI got a sizable answer in the form of reads from him on every single player on his wagon. What's "meh" about it?Retired.

@Cheetory: I'm not sure. I feel like I'd like a bit more out of him because his current lack of activity bothers me, and the way he consulted his wagon was pretty much exactly how I would handle it if I were scum. Someone of his townreads seemed very empty. I don't feel particularly satisfied by what I've received, especially since I know he's going to read me as town either way because I know that he knows it sates me.
The only other person I would consider switching to would be acryon, for his #401. It felt like mafia trying to egg on bad analysis, especially since he didn't really seem to follow it up with anything.Retired.

So you don't think there was anything wrong with that line in Dragon's post?
That being said, my vote is still on vikingfan, because his posts have looked much worse than dragon's. I've got an FoS on dragon though.
In post 452, SilverWolf wrote:
I'm still trying to figure out why he's scummier than vikingfan.......................
Yeah, he isn't.
So looking at the votes:
Boon was the first to vote dragon
Pisskop sheeps Boon’s reason
Grib adds to vikingfan
Aero adds to dragon for the same reason as Boon and pisskop
Vikingfan jumps on dragon
Klingon places his vote for vikingfan (although the intent was clearly there already)
House jumps on, stating he is sheeping
Kitz jumps on vikingfan for disliking the way he addressed the dragon wagon (which has a nice ring to it
Nakedjogger jumps on dragon for being defensive
Giving us the following VC for those two (pretty sure):
vikingfan: acryon, SilverWolf, dragonspawn, Grib, Klingon, House, Kitz [L-4]
Dragonspawn: Boonskiies, Pisskop, Aeronaut, vikingfan, Nakedjogger [L-6]
The dragonspawn wagon certainly smells like a counterwagon to a scum wagon. If it is, I suspect Aeronaut the most on the counterwagon (and of course vikingfan). Came in third on the wagon only after it clearly had a little traction and just sheeped Boon's reasoning (which isn't bad in and of itself, but it's hard to tell if Aero had his own reasons).
Sorry, I can't hear you over all those mafia sounds acryon.Retired.

Fwiw, I don't think dragon is mafia and am distinctly unenthused by the current votes on him.

Klingon's post is really bad but I'm not sure it necessarily makes her scum. The phrase "too scummy to be scum" comes to mind and I think it's kinda hilarious. In what world does scum go "what is the dumbest, most antitown thing I could sayright now?"

After his #842, where he makes a big fuss about people voting Boon, he has absolutely no issue with ABR doing the exact same thing with his vote, in yet drops the entire issue he had over nothing and starts voting with his scumread without explaining why.
Scratch that, I misread.
He still dropped his scumread on ABR, which I'm still not sure it even existed, over nothing. Ignore the part about voting with him.Retired.

When I asked you to start sorting me again it didn't mean randomly fucking disagree with everything I do for no reason.
I think that Klingon's statement was so absurdly bad that I didn't think it wouldactuallycome from scum. The part about you voting her was kinda meh and not entirely relevant.
I still don't understand what happened with you and the ABR/VF reads.Retired.
