How does that sound like I'm not trying to get involved? I said what I was thinking, but if that's trying not to get involved then, yes, I guess I'm not.
As of now, the two major people I suspect is:
EA
Jazmynn
[Not, that that doesn't suck, but I find it odd that 3 games I've been in, someone had to leave for a while due to the illness or death of someone.]"I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

I agreed with one "wagon". No question was directed at me specifically and I find it kind of stupid to base a vote on one thing I've done that you find suspicious. Like myself, you should really hold back on a vote until you have better info to go on. I admit, I don't post that much, but I do read EVERYTHING. And if you want, I will answer a question if it is directed at me specifically.
And, btw, why would anyone act scummy? And how am I the prime example of this game? What have I done that was even remotely scummy?"I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

I never said keeping you vote to yourself was a good idea, I said holding back on voting, meaning don't vote right away, get info first, then vote.
I think that Jazmynn is scum because of her constant attempt of trying to feel/look like she's in power and defensiveness. Obviously being defensive isn't bad, but I think it's something to find suspicious because she never says when she thinks she's wrong or made a mistake.
Honestly, I have not done anything to help the town, so I will try to work on that, but quite frankly, I find it to be better if I get info for myself first, take it in and understand it, and then I will try to explain how I feel about something or how I think others should take it."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

ZEEnon, could you please stop with the spaces between your sentences? It gets difficult to read when it is spaced like that. Post like a normal person.
don_johnson, if you think he's scum, why tell him to look for scum harder? he wouldn't need to, if he is."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

Vote: Killa Seven
He has posted pretty much nothing. What he has posted was nothingness talk and his last post was simply saying that he was here, which he currently is not."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

You had a response to everything, that's not a bad thing, but none of the things that you responded to, did you say you were wrong about anything. You said what you thought and thought that you were right about everything. Oh, and you haven't made a vote to lynch anyone, even if it was to unvote later to get info, you have yet to vote.Jazzmyn wrote:
Actually, your prompt post came at 2:28 a.m. this morning in my time zone, and I was asleep by then. I am not able to post during weekdays as I work for government and have to abide by its "Internet acceptable use" policy, which says that we are not supposed to use our work computers and Blackberries, etc., for personal use, games, etc. I generally do not get online on weeknights until after 7:00 p.m. my time (although a bit earlier tonight because it's a long weekend here and Monday is a holiday so I left a bit earlier than usual) and then on weekends, I am able to post more than during the week. All of which is to say that I didn't see your post #99 until I logged in tonight.q21 wrote:Jazzmyn, since my vote has failed to light a spark of activity under you how about a direct question. Do you have an opinion about who the scum are? (Anyone else is, of course free to answer this.)
In addition, this week I had a couple of other games with looming deadlines and such (including one with a deadline in LyLo last night, no less) so those had to take priority.
That said, I have gone through this thread and started my game notes and the players who are giving me the greatest scumvibes at present are dejkha, ZEEnon and, to a lesser extent, ac1983. Dejkha for his weak responses to Erratus after Erratus' "wagons are the path to victory" comment. It's okay to accuse and to seek clarification, of course, but to continue to cling to a notion once a reasonable response and explanation has been provided, and to 'defend' that stance with circular reasoning and other poor reasoning instead of just moving on - on Day 1 in the very early stages - is suspicious to me. ZEEnon for voting Erratus while saying that he didn't have to explain why, and for his poor replies to Erratus' responses to his vote and his follow up posts, including the one in which he says that he thinks it should be obvious why he didn't have to explain his vote. This kind of so-called 'logic' makes my brain hurt. To a lesser extent, ac1983 for the exchange about it being 'bad form' to vote for someone without a lot of evidence in the early going, and the repetitive posts on this same point in #67, 68, 69, 70. There is rarely a lot of evidence as to who is scum in the early going, so his comments on this point and his hesitance to vote for someone who he said he thought was scummy come across as a bit forced. But, as mentioned, I am getting a lesser scum vibe from ac1983 than that which I am currently getting from dejkha and ZEEnon.
Erratus, Q21 and Herodotus strike me as pro-town at present. I'm not getting much of a read on the remaining players as yet, and I haven't played in any previous games with the vast majority of players in this game so I don't have any meta type information that might assist me in knowing their playstyle, etc., so this is all subject to change, of course, as the day progresses.
I wasn't "lynching" ZEEnon (or anyone for that matter) based on the weird formatting of his posts. It was a random vote for a nonsensical reason which I thought was apparent, given that I wrote, "That's just weird" which I would think anyone could divine as random. And, no, I am certainly not a Jester.Tovarish wrote:My guess is that Jazzmyn is some kind of Jester- even the dumbest players wouldn't lynch Zeenon on post length- so this doesn't seem particularly pro-town or pro-scum. Just dumb.
See above. It was a random vote for a nonsensical reason (which is what I thought would make it apparent that it was a random vote). Meta me, if you like, and you will see that I don't cast serious votes without setting out my reasons.ac1983fan wrote:You contribute almost nothing to the discussion, and then make a vote for a silly reason, and no acknowlegement of what is really going on, claiming that you think we are still in the joke vote stage, where anyone who had actually read the thread would know that was not true. This was my initial assesment, which you proved with your response to my & q21's questions... There are much better reasons to be voting for zeenon other than his unorthodox posting style.

Killa7, I don't think this is what you were saying, but just because you found him out as scum last game, doesn't mean he is scum this game, (although he very well could be)."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

unvote
herodotus, I think your thought that dejkha finding killa7 scummy and thus making the votes for the lynch go away from him was a bad/stupid thought. Regardless of scum or not, no body wants to be lynched and (hopefully) everyone will vote based on whatever reason, hopefully if they think they're scum, but thinking that he voted for someone to get votes away from him is just illogical. No one can vote for themselves (at least I don't think) and unless dejkha said something specific about this, it's just an odd assumption to make."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

I don't get why you would want things to move along, but put the deadline in 2 WEEKS.
Erratus, not reading the post doesn't necessarily make you scum, it's just a stupid thing to do. I get it, some posts are incredibly long and boring, but you could at least glance through them. But it does seem suspicious or at least lazy.
Top of page 14 vote count:
ac1983fan 3 (q21, Erratus Apathos, Plonky)
killa seven 2 (Tovarish, dejkha)
ZEEnon 1 (Jazzmyn)
Herodotus 1 (ZEEnon)
Plonky 1 (don_johnson)
dejkha 1 (Herodotus)
Not voting: killa seven, Zer0ph34r
With 12 still packing it takes 7 to lynch.
Note: this vote count should be accurate as of this post.

What I meant by that post was that I just found it odd because to me, 2 weeks is a while away, and the mod said that she wanted to move things along quickly.
Erratus: Sorry, but it's hard to detect sarcasm when it is typed and you assume the tone of what someone's saying. So, don't say that like it's easy to detect it."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

I'm simply annoyed with ac1983fan's methods of trying to get attention or suspicion on me [like that lame what did you mean by post #325 thing]. That seemed a bit dumb to me.

I like reading this whole q21 vs dejkha thing. I think they could both be scum just trying to hide it up. [Just a thought].
However: I'm gonna stick with my original vote.

You didn't catch him in a lie. Let me clarify some things that people are too stupid to realize with logic.
1) I am dejkha's brother
2) I copied and pasted his wiki entry and used it as my own and changed it to my stats because it's easier than making your own.
3) And even if he did post that stuff, how does that make him scum? Because you caught him in a lie irrelevant to the game?
4) All of the info there is correct [except that I am currently in 2 games that are not in the stats].
5) I'm not saying that dejkha isn't scum, but in this sense, there is no proof."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

I'm not the serial killer and if I was, wouldn't it seem a bit too obvious of me to kill dejkha? I too was surprised because I never even took into consideration that a serial killer could be in the game. And I'm not saying this to get attention off me, but the fact that herodotus is still in the game means one of two things (to me) 1: He is mafia. 2: The mafia knew that we would lynch him because he seems scummy. So this kind of confuses me as what to do because he is currently my number one concern."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

That third option does make sense, but ultimately ends up being a form of #1. And based on memories of what I read, or at least in my eyes, herodotus would have gotten at least some votes on the first day had it not been for kill7's lack of posting."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

Porkens, what do you mean by "too easy"? And my number one suspect is either herodotus or Jazmyn. Have people forgot about her? She seems to be playing under the radar or something. She, to my memory has never actually been involved with any discussion, even I have been in at least a little, but she never posts anything, especially involving her thoughts."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

Again Porkens, how was I ignorant in that post? And, got a reason for the vote? I thought it was weird how you had negative thoughts about torvarish and then voted for him, unvoted and voted for me, despite the EBWOP.

I don't understand why you would say that even though you were referring to me. And as for the bong thing, I don't have one. WTF are you talking about? And I'm going to assume that there are 3 mafia members, even though there could be 4, but doubtfully. This means, if there are 3, we can only make one more mistake by lynching a townie, after that, we gotta lynch mafia every day. If there are 4, we have to lynch mafia everyday from here on out."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

For right now, I am going to assume that I am paranoid because assuming that I am sane will have worse consequences than if we were to assume I am sane. At this point in the game, what do you guys think would be best, a lynch today or no lynch? Because we're getting down to it with 3 pro-towns gone. And to my memory, q21 never claimed to be a cop and did not get the chance to investigate, or at least tell us, so that kind of makes things difficult at the moment."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

That would indeed be a cop claim. And in case you are wondering why I did not investigate, it was because I tried to, but it said that I could not, so I'm assuming that I was blocked."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

That situation makes sense, yes and when I got the message saying I was "blocked" it said specifically, "Action could not be performed." So, I'm assuming that means roleblocked, but I guess it could mean something else, but I don't know what. And no, I don't know my sanity, and at this stage, I may never know (until the end). I have to investigate someone, then based on the role I get, we decide to lynch him or not, then we will know my sanity, but I don't want to risk killing another townie, so let's see how it goes."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

I wanted to see who would catch it, it may seem untrue, but I wanted to see who was actually paying attention, and as a result, only one person mentioned it.
And don, I tried investigating killaseven for suspicion of scum. And by the way, does anyone have a suggestion as to who I should investigate tonight?"I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

Well, if it has to be either I'm dumb or I'm good at playing dumb, it must be that I am dumb, because that's what people have implied in the past and I don't intend to be dumb.
What/who is SK, Sotty? But I do have high suspicion of ac, but like pretty much every other time in the past, I have made the mistake of voting for the person I find most suspicious. [BTW, I've never lynched a mafia member in all of my 5 games, so that sucks.] I wanna go with my instincts, but I want to be 99% sure first."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

What makes me suspicious of him was that he claimed to be a serial killer. Obviously, he could be telling the truth, but honestly, the fact that he claimed at exactly the point that he should've makes me worry. Because in all of my games so far, no one has ever done what I wanted them to do without telling them. I know that seems like a lame reason, but in a sense, I find him suspicious because he's "too pro-town" I guess you could say, but that's a reason why I am so hesitant to vote for him."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

Oh, I was sure that serial killer was pro-town, but his main goal was to keep himself alive. Okay, well that changes things.
Actually Porkens, I claimed to be scum in I believe 3 of my 5 games and yes, none of which I was scum. And the reason I'm not claiming to be scum in this game is because I couldn't deal with the fools in my other games."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

Yes, I claimed to be a cop in my last game, which I was. I claimed to be mafia because I hated the people in my game, I know it wasn't a good idea, but I wanted them to lose. And how do my posts make your head hurt?

Despite my dislike for Sotty and agreement with don in the sense that he's now posting fluff, he made a good point in the fact that if he is a serial killer, we should lynch him."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

My dislike for you is mainly and pretty much only because no matter what I say or do, you seem to have some beef with me. And the fluff is that he has not really posted anything involving what is happening with the game and just what he thinks, which is good, but not enough.
You killing whoever has the most votes is assuming that you don't get lynched right? Because I don't think serial killers can kill if they're dead."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

I claimed truthfully as a cop in my last game because I always claim what I am because I tell the damn truth in this game. Which is why I would make a crappy mafia member."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm

I effed up that night investigating! Btw, does anyone have a suggestion of who I should investigate tonight? [Assuming I'm not lynched or killed.] If not, I'm going to investigate acfan1983 [assuming he is not lynched or killed]."I'm still a bit amazed by Zer0's play." -Xylthixlm
