I read your post, AGMoI, and can't help to think this is a rolefish attempt.

If you wish to parse our request for Nik to look at a list of approximately 20 characters, of which many flavorwise could be any conceivable Role in the game, and ask him for a simple Yes or NO as to whether his character was there as rolefishing that is your right.

Given the order Nik claimed he submitted and his further claim as a non-Lantern if he hadn’t come back with a Yes (and this supports hiplop’s assertion about delayed White Lanterns) we would have driven his lynch. It isn’t possible for him to get a Non-Lantern which was his 3rd Choice given what role we got.

CJ, Andrius and Vezok seem the most likely mafia (likely others as well). Unless I miss read something (false humility), vezok claimed day 1 that he is JL, and that Nik and company were lying about being JL. Link to post 442 as reference. That, combined with claiming to become a WL by buddying up to hiplop and using "role" info that hiplop announced to gain town cred, make him a likely scum player.

Andrius also rubs me with a scum feel due to the tone of some of his Day 1 posts. Both posts include statements that come from a uniquely scum=mafia perspective. Link to posts 519, complains about mod making the game unbalanced against scum, and 542, concludes that cult team can screw over mafia team, thus concluding that scum are screwed if culted (when in fact only *mafia* would be screwed, while cult would be doing really well). Either case, both posts draw conclusions that come from a largely scum perspective (also, he talks WAY too much).

I'm actually a little paranoid that one of the unrecruitable claims could turn out to be the cult recruiter, as no way town is going to want to lynch that claim and it allows deep coasting, again based on claim. I think if one of them was CR it would by far be hiplop, as his claim sort of dripped out weirdly, as if he wanted to claim unrecruitable expressly not to have suspicion on him.

There is obviously something up with the white lantern claims because:

WL are claiming to received two things: Their original PM hinting they're a WL, and a follow-up PM. People should confirm who exactly got what, as people are combining them into one group it appears.
Some claim to have gotten a PM that clears them.
Yet not everyone claiming WL has gotten this PM.

In other words, the PM was either sent out by an in-game role (CR) or people are lying about being WL and only have it as a fake-claim.

Our power Cult Counter: if we got a White Ring, we could once-per-game send in a list of three names. If they were recruited, they would become unrecruited (we mind wipe them). Never got a White Ring, so this never really applied.

We are 100% because of role info that Nikanor, zMuffinMan, and hiplop are non-CR, non-town. Our townflip will confirm that this is true.

Ludi is our #1 choice for CR, and needs to be blocked tonight. If he's not, honestly we don't know -- everyone else has a good explanation of why they're not the CR.

We suspect some sort of connection between Andrius and tanstalas -- we don't believe this is recruiter/recruitee, because it occurred D2 along with the confirmed NPIAU recruiting, but we do see possible Andrius/tanstalas scumpair. Not sold on this -- it's also possible that Andrius really does just play this badly -- but it is something to remember.

In addition to the White Lanterns (Nikanor, Muffin, hiplop), we are certain Blackberry and Oversoul are town.
