Rules of Conduct

01. Use common sense. This means no excessive flaming or anything prohibited on these forums.
02. You may not communicate outside of this thread unless you are explicitly told so by the mod.
03. Do not use invisible text, extremely small text, color=black, or any other methods of concealing text.
04. Players who have not posted in 5 days will be automatically prodded. A person will be replaced if a prod is not picked up in 72 hours.
05. Please bold all votes such as
Vote: ShadowLurker
. Even if I see an unbolded vote, I will NOT count it. Unvotes are not required.
06. Discussion may occur in twilight. Twilight ends when I post the lynch scene.
07. Once you are dead, you are dead. This means NO "BAH" POSTS WHATSOEVER.
08. If you do not wish to use a night choice, please submit "none." Nights will usually last 72 hours unless a request for an extension is PMed, and if I do not receive a night choice, I will assume no action.
09. All questions about your role, or questions/comments related to my decisions should be directed to PM and not in-thread. If I think the answer should be made public knowledge, I will post the question and answer.
10. At deadline, there will be no lynch unless a majority has been reached. Days will have no set deadline unless I see discussion lagging, in which case I'll impose a deadline.
11. Lastly, keep in mind that this is a game and you play it to have FUN! Please do not intentionally try to ruin the game for others as it discourages them from playing.
12. NEW GAME-SPECIFIC RULE: No quoting directly from the mod. You

Technical Rules

01. Each day, the Town has an option of lynching a person. This requires a majority of votes on that person to occur. The town may decide to lynch nobody. A day will be as long as required for a deadline to hit or consensus to be reached.
02. Voting occurs by a simple
Vote: Player
and to unvote, just write
Unvote
. Unbolded votes will not be counted. To vote for a no lynch, just type
Vote: No Lynch
. No Lynch requires a majority of voters in order to be executed.
03. Days will have no set deadline unless I see discussion lagging, in which case I'll impose a deadline.
04. Nights will always be a minimum of 3 days unless all choices are in. If I have not received a choice by the time night ends, I will assume you are choosing not to use your action. Prods may or may not be sent out during night.
05. Please check the game every 72 hours. If you will be away for a period of time longer than 72 hours, please let me know. Prods may be requested on anyone who has not posted within 24 hours and people who have not posted within 5 days will be autoprodded. I will try to make a vote count every page and vote counts may be requested.
06.
I do not check the V/LA thread. Please PM me if you are going to be away for an extended period of time, or you will be in danger of being replaced.

I don't think that it's ethical to
force
a player to be replaced.
However, if Reecer is bored of this game and doesn't enjoy it then I highly recommend that he does request replacement.

I know that you can get email notification of receiving a PM. So...Juls gets the results of her night actions via email notification and immediately PM's you and asks for an extension. What happens?
Sorry for being unclear on night rules. Nights are a set 72 hours; no more and no less. All communiqués that come in before will be sent. All after will not. Same goes for night actions.

Why did you remove those messages then? Both were quoted communiques and not from you except for the fact that ALL communiques come from the mod. :?:

Reecer has requested replacement and BSG hasn't picked up his prod yet. I'll start looking for Reecer replacement ASAP, but BSG's last post was 3 days ago so I'll wait a little bit longer

In my opinion, it is no different from using "passwords" within the communiqués. Also, I am borrowing heavily from MeMe's previous ruleset and it was allowed then, so yes I think it's fine.

Also, extra special shout-out to anyone who replaced and especiall Juls, Casey, and Budja for making it to endgame (or close to it) without needing to be replaced. You guys rock!

. I don't blame some of you for losing interest in the game as no reveal can be less stimulating. I was really surprised that almost every player EXCEPT for scum had to get replaced. :shock: That should change up the meta a bit. What'd you guys all think of the game?

I think confirmed masons would have left too many confirmed innocents in the town.

@Rhinox: In retrospect, yeah I should have given Budja probably only one interception. However, he probably used them at the best possible times to set up 2 consecutive mislynches
