Me, one minute later: Phew, that was close. I was beginning to think Beholder had forgotten about us.
Me, two minutes later: Maybe I should place a random vote.
Me, five hours later:
Uh, it was really really obvious. And Osmodiar (Am I spelling that right?) was the first thing that came to mind when I saw that.DTM wrote:If the shift is scum derived, I would start looking at Nikanor atm.
That's better than what I've got.Spy wrote:And Nik I may, in fact, be turning this wagon 'round but even if I don't its SECRET INFORMATION but not IRONCLAD DEATH METAL.

I believe that I have exactly outlined my problem with your posting style this game in this statement. If you don't understand what I mean, please review my statement, or ask me to further explain what I mean before making baseless accusations.Nik wrote:instead of spazzing out over every vaguely scummy thing.
It's the secret information that catches my fancy. The case against you isn't too bad either, at least not for this stage of the game, but my main reason for voting you is the super secret tidbit that SpyreX is dangling in front of me.Mina wrote:Nikanor, do you suspect me, or are you just voting for me because of SpyreX's "secret information" comment?
That's actually exactly why I voted for you, though.Mina wrote:Don't use "Oh, but that damn SpyreX made me do it by teasing me with extra information!" as an excuse.
They're stand-up guys! I love 'em to death.Mina wrote:What do you think of, say, Iecerint? Ooba? Ortolan?
No, it's serious. I want you lynched.Mina wrote:So are you saying it wasn't a serious vote?You aren't pushing this to a lynch?
Someone please tell me I'm imagining him saying this.DTM wrote:TOWN STOP: ELSCOUTA ARE YOU A VOTE STEALER YOU SCUMMY SCUMMY SCUMM ??? (see in the vote count)
I'm saying you're spazzing out and attacking everything in sight, which isn't good scumhunting.DTM wrote:I still don't understand your point or criticism (missed your comment) still. What the hell is the issue with my post? Am I scummy? Do you agree with my points?
SOUNDS LIKE USURPER!Fate wrote:Tarhalindur is 110% town with that claim and I have a chainsaw waiting for the first moron who has the balls to step up and say "SOUNDS LIKE LYNCHER/3RD PARTY ROLE!"
I guess we could do it on like, day two. Just in case Parama is the godfather. It was more an arbitrary number than anything else.manho wrote:why wait until day 4?
1. He says I'm wrong if I've investigated him, then votes me. Seems like Godfather behaviour to me.DTM wrote:1. Why the hell did you speculate Parama GF? If you're going for a scum read, that's fine in your claim/pressure/etc. But to call him out on GFs? That's oddly specific.
2. You Ignored my questions in my last few walls. Why?
Gotcha. I look forward to it.Plum wrote:Nik: Sorry, I was missing the brain on my last post directed at you (information overload gogogo). Lemme get back to you with a different something soonish.
If you must know, it was like an FoS. Basically, I had the post saying Vote: SaintKerrigan before I saw the secret info post by SpyreX. After I saw Spy's post, I changed the vote to a pseudo-vote.Katy wrote:Because I don't know what Nikanor was doing with his "pseudo-vote."
I don't see your point. Have you considered the possibility of me being a village idiot? You've never played with me before, so you shouldn't know whether I'm a VI or not.Katy wrote:Nikanor shouldn't have been voting for Mina JUST to get some sort of magical information, he should vote for her because he thinks she's scum.
I believe I've stated that although the secret information was the primary reason for me voting Mina, I agreed with Spy about the cognitive dissonance. So the information wasn't my only motivation, although it certainly played a large part.Katy wrote:But that wasn't Nikanor's reasoning - even when asked to clarify he stated that his vote was for getting secret info that Spyre claimed to be able to give if people voted for Mina. He didn't ever say he was pressuring her or wanting to see how she behaved, so there's no reason to think that this was what he was doing. But thanks for trying to give him a way out.
Have you done the iso or haven't you? It seems like you have, from the second clause.Katy wrote:I do want to do an ISO on him at some point, but nothing I read from him bothered me as much as what I read from Nikanor.
That sounds like a question that makes sense.Plum wrote:How would you have expected Parama-Town to have responded to your accusation?
That was the post in which I accused Parama of being scum. As you can see, there is no mention of an inspection result.Nik wrote:Attention players. It has come to my attention that Parama is scum. Please lynch this player in a few days. Maybe day four.
Yeah, day four should work. If I'm dead by day four, please lynch Parama without me. Otherwise, I'm going straight for Parama's throat come daybreak on that day.
Now, while I realize that DTM was the one who originally brought up inspection results (he thought I had one), Parama doesn't stop to think about what might have happened. This is proven by the fact that he forgot about the vote-shifting effect of Delirium. He assumes I have an inspection result, then goes on to call me third-party. That's okay, I guess, but why am I definitely harmful? If he's saying I recruited DTM (which is likely, since he accuses me of being cult a couple posts later), why is he voting DTM and not myself? Further, if you are town and someone accuses you of being scum from out of nowhere, do you flip out and assume that person is lying scum, or do you think, "Oh, he's insane, paranoid, random, etc." I would think the latter as town, and probably do the former as scum, and that's part of the reason for why I'm still suspicious of Parama.Parama wrote:If Nikanor has a scum result on me then he's totally lying. DTM continuing to vote me after saying Nikanor's arguments make no sense is total hypocrisy, whee.
unvote, vote: DTMaster
Super-FoS: orto, Elscouta, Nikanor
Nikanor is also 3rd party like Fate is, but we don't need to lynch Fate since he's harmless, while Nikanor is most definitely harmful.

I thought you were just being helpful, but that works too.Plum wrote:Parama, I was considering Nik's apparent lack of viable suspects with his extremely strong suspicion of you earlier. I wanted to feel out whether his opinions were evolving, how they were evolving, or if he was displaying scummy inconsistencies in his scumhunting. While I saw where his suspicions of you were coming from (I asked him to explain some stuff Day 1, which he did), I did not find them vote-warranting and frankly did not find you to be my top suspect. I was still confused by what happened to Ort, who was by far my top suspect Day 2 - if we'd gotten some sort of flip on him today, just Rolecop, whatever - that would have been my springboard. Especially towards the beginning of today I felt a bit rudderless precisely because a no-Lynch Day 1 simply has that effect, on me at least.
Hey man did you hear that manho is scum? Yeah, I found something somewhere between pages 30 and 50 that pretty much outed him. Don't bother to look for it, you probably won't find anything. But I'm telling you it's true.VV wrote:I think I'll go take the role of 'easily convinced townie.'
