Whether you believed in religion or not, the 18th of May was bloody scary!
Religious fanatics and atheists alike deemed it JUDGEMENT DAY. Newspapers reported that it was time for people of all walks of life to "find their faith".
However, in the midst of all the carnage, this was not as easy as you might think.

And so, as the greatest test for Mankind ensues, the 10 of you have been brought here to make your choice. Some of you have already chosen the path towards Heaven, and it will be your duty to bring others to do the same. Some amongst your midst however, have been befriended by EVIL, and will attempt to lure you towards the same fate. Those of you have undecided only have a short while to make your choice. Your intentions may be good, but you need a heart of gold to defeat this great evil, else you will be consumed by it.

Rules

1.) This game is a day start. The game will start when everyone has confirmed via PM.
2.) During the day you can vote for a player that you think should be lynched. Votes must be in the form Vote: Player otherwise they won't be counted. Players must also unvote when switching their votes. All votes and unvotes must be in bold.
3.) When a player reaches a majority of votes, they are lynched. I will reveal their role, and the game will move into night. No discussion takes place during the night, except amongst roles who have been given specific permission to do so.
4.) If discussion is lagging or the day is dragging, I may set a deadline. If a majority is not reached by the deadline, No lynch will occur.
5.) No talking to other players, dead or alive, outside of the thread, unless your role permits it.
6.) Once dead, you stop posting. A bah post is fine though.
7.) If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
8.) Try to post as often as possible. Treat the game as a committment. If you go inactive, you will be replaced.
9.) I'll try to post votecounts as often as possible. Feel free to ask for a votecount at any time.
10.) Do not make verbally abuse any participants of this game at any point. This is a game, and I will not tolerate childish insults. Any personal attacks will result in punishments-up to and including Modkills.
11.) Do not quote or fakequote your role PM. This is a modkillable offence.

The town were overjoyed at this victory. With hindsight, they should have paid more heed to his pointy tail, and pitchfork, but nonetheless, the greatest evil had gone. Now it was simply a matter of rounding up his scummy minions.

Awesome-all choices are in, and thus, the day can begin

The night was a peaceful one in the town. The innocents slept soundly, in the knowledge that they had made a solid start towards defeating Evil. Unfortunately, this meagre success had only angered the demons more, and more carnage ensued overnight.
It might have been some consolation to see that the Armed Forces were travelling through, but it was a real downer when the town realised that its presence had cause more damage than it had prevented.
1 such instance was the crushing of a players car. A rogue tank had not seen the vehicle in the darkness, and apparently, didnt hear the crunching of smashed metal and glass.

The unfortunate car had belonged to The Fonz. However, perhaps even more unfortunate was that he had been trapped inside. It has been suggested by the individuals investigating, that The Fonz had returned from a nocturnal visit, and fell asleep upon reaching his destination. Suffice to say, he didnt wake up again.

After a longer day than the previous one, the town was confident that they had found another scumbag to add to the pile of corpses. N9V's defence had been full of holes, and the town were certain that he had to be scum.
As it looked like there was no hope left, N9V placed the final vote upon himself, confirming his lynch. The town had a sudden change of heart, but it was too late. The rules were clear, and N9V was lynched.

It was the 3rd night since the group had congregated in the town. Since their arrival, they had managed to oust the Devil and his minion, but there was 1 more foe yet to face. Unfortunately, this town was not completely detached from the real world. The residents still had to do their everyday tasks. For one, this was to be their downfall.

Blue Zebra was out last night. No, he wasnt out to murder people. he was trying to do the exact opposite. He was working the Night shift at the hospital, when he was attacked and killed by a foul beast.

The carnage was worse last night. All electricity was finally shut down, and few buildings remained upright. A few people claimed that they had seen spectres amongst the shadows, though perhaps it was just paranoia setting in.
Due to the lack of photographic equipment withstanding, the only illustration on offer was a drawing by the deceased player (for another had died last night).

Unfortunately the person responsible for this image was found victim of great savagery once day broke. Having left the destroyed convent,

had been literally living in a cardboard box. His mutilated corpse was strewn across the street. There had been of course, several witnesses to the crime, but all were so doped up with whisky, the town thought it foolish to pay them any heed.

It was Judgement Day. With only 4 of the original 12 survivors remaining, it was difficult to see any silver lining to the game. However, with a little faith in God, the town DID manage to defeat Evil. After an intense discussion, Remussaidow was lynched for his sins.
However, just beforehand, he did the victorious town the honour of revealing his true identity to them.

TOWN WINS!

The remaining players rejoiced. God (Whome) led them up the stairs to salvation. Jdodge and NaR had been judged, and they had been found to be pure. They lived the rest of their eternal lives, in a state of contentedness.
Meanwhile, Whome realised he could correct everything that was wrong in the world, now Evil had been apprehended. Well, he realised he COULD change things, but frankly he had enjoyed the past few weeks so much, instead he promised that the experience would be repeated in the near future.

Albert didnt use one i dont think. Xyzzy used 'Moses', the one designed for power role claims. When NaR kinda broke the setup, Remus stood little chance.

oh btw, the 2 word name thing for townies wasnt intentional. ill be careful with that in future games i mod.

The night actions over the first 2 nights were funny. A bit peculiar that the doc always protected the guy who got investigated.

After Day 1, the town was always in the ascendancy. Xyzzy spent the majority of his game time under suspicion, and Whome's investigations won the game for the town in the end.
To be fair, Remus didnt stand much chance after Xyzzy died. he even said at much. still, his gambit keeping the cop alive was the best idea imo. Jdodge and NaR were having some doubts at the end.

Oh and Remus, when Albert died, you became Mafia

I think killing Ranger would have been a bad move. I absolutely would not have believed the one-shot vig that fired on night 1 over the claimed cop.

hmm perhaps. there again, you were less certain to be town than NaR. i could hardly see NaR-scum prematurely hammering both his scumbuddies. lol
