Good Job gentlemen. I was hoping that my status as current Mafia godfather, and first mafiate to be investigated would get me an innocent investigation, and then I would try and falsify whome?'s claim of cop not by saying he was naive, but by saying that he KNEW xyzzy was a scum, but wouldn't investigate him, and thus had to have known that his sanity was compromised. Didn't quite work out like that, but if whome? were killed last night, I would have been dead in 10 posts of morning.

now we're all finished - my claiming as cop do you think it was premature, or well timed? This was my 1st time as a cop so I am keen to learn from any msitakes I have made.

Considering you pretty much won the game for the town, I would say you did just fine.

Premature. It wasn't bad in this game, obviously you won, and if BZ hadn't idiotically claimed (you did man, you could have messed me up so bad by not claiming.) I would have targeted you, because of how rare it is that a doc and a roleblock and a cop are in the same game (btw- the scales were anti scum in this game). One more day to claim probably would have been better.

Also, my role PM stated that I was the head of the mafia, that's why I took that gamble.

I was almost screaming at the screen reading day five- couldn't believe Remus came as close to winning as he did. I mean, a one-shot vig who used his power night one on the doc protectee? That's far too convenient. Anytime someone claims a power role without any possibility of verifying it, or it actually helping the town, I tend to assume they're scum.

Not really. You did have the GF, it's not our fault he was lynched day one. Well, it was, but you know what I mean. Remember Stoofer's bit about additional power roles complicating it for town? I RBed Blue Zebra day one, thinking his hardcore lurking was scummy. Should just have gone with my gut and blocked Xyzzy- I assume it was Kabenon put in the kill, mind?

I kept going over and over in my head the possible scenarios at night before I made like 15 posts of thoughts, where I was deciding who to put my vote on.

Judgement Day Final Vote Count

Remus 3 (Whome, NaR, Jdodge)
Whome 1 (Remus)

It was Judgement Day. With only 4 of the original 12 survivors remaining, it was difficult to see any silver lining to the game. However, with a little faith in God, the town DID manage to defeat Evil. After an intense discussion, Remussaidow was lynched for his sins.
However, just beforehand, he did the victorious town the honour of revealing his true identity to them.

Remussaidow- Cerberus (Mafia Member) has been killed.

TOWN WINS!

The remaining players rejoiced. God (Whome) led them up the stairs to salvation. Jdodge and NaR had been judged, and they had been found to be pure. They lived the rest of their eternal lives, in a state of contentedness.
Meanwhile, Whome realised he could correct everything that was wrong in the world, now Evil had been apprehended. Well, he realised he COULD change things, but frankly he had enjoyed the past few weeks so much, instead he promised that the experience would be repeated in the near future.

Oh and you probably didnt notice, but the scum were given safe-claims to try and fit in:

Albert didnt use one i dont think. Xyzzy used 'Moses', the one designed for power role claims. When NaR kinda broke the setup, Remus stood little chance.

oh btw, the 2 word name thing for townies wasnt intentional. ill be careful with that in future games i mod.

The night actions over the first 2 nights were funny. A bit peculiar that the doc always protected the guy who got investigated.

After Day 1, the town was always in the ascendancy. Xyzzy spent the majority of his game time under suspicion, and Whome's investigations won the game for the town in the end.
To be fair, Remus didnt stand much chance after Xyzzy died. he even said at much. still, his gambit keeping the cop alive was the best idea imo. Jdodge and NaR were having some doubts at the end.

Oh and Remus, when Albert died, you became Mafia

Im really happy with how this game went. Considering there were few IC type ppl playing, the game was really active, and enjoyable for all.
