What makes you so sure that scum wouldn't hit lovers anyways in the night without claiming? It is always a possibility especially with 2 target possibilities.

Can't be sure that they won't hit the unprotected, unclaimed partner. This is just a worst case scenario. We could be lucky and hit the T/S pair today. Although we have to remember that the scum will be trying to steer us to the T/T combo.

The wcs will see D3 with a 4:2 split i.e mylo. But what's done is done.

Expanding on what I said in 481: The actual doc is fairly safe from lynching, as if the goon claims doc, the goon is dead inside the next 2 lynches. which is better odds than otherwise. Still don't claim today unless run up. Tomorrow is a different matter, as if we mislynch today, and a VT dies overnight, the doc is definitely 1/3, and a claim reduces the goon to a 1/2 shot.
