Virtually, but not quite. Supposing that you are in the scum pair, if we lynch you today and the doctor protects Chrono, the scum have to make a gamble on which of the lurkers they think is Chrono's partner. I don't know about you, but I like the idea that scum might have to waste multiple night phases aiming for lurkers while the obvious pro-town people survive.

at Ksen - 2 things, first when you lynch me today, Wolf commits suicide tonight, you WILL NOT have him to help you tomorrow. That is kind of obvious, not sure how you would think otherwise. Secondly, Chrono has suggested his lover is inactive for about a week now, just go read him in ISO. Thats why I am willing to vote Chrono now instead of me because he has virtually outed his lover as well....

I just went back and looked at what CJMiller posted, yeah, you're right. Dammit, I remembered it saying the lover would die at the end of the next cycle.

In fact, if Chrono is lying to deceive scum and his lover ISN'T one of the lurkers then we are in an even better position, although I doubt he would do something like that...

Here's how I see it. If nothing breaks then we have a nolynch today. I know the nolynches can be useful but I don't see how it'd be useful for us to do that on day 1.

I still think Yankee is the scum lover the reasons for this have already been posted.

If we no lynch, the doc has to gamble 3 (5?) ways.

If we lynch me, they have a 50% chance of hitting the unprotected lover.

If we lynch one of the other set (Y/TLW), and I'm protected, they have a 50% chance of hitting my lover (inactive), and 50% chance of hitting a normal inactive.

We lynch wolf, flip town.

a) The other inactive is the doc, either my lover, or said doc, gets NKed
b) The other inactive is a goon, no gamble about it. 100% chance of my lover dying.
c) they decide not to gamble and go for a random towny.

d) my lover is trech, so the mafia kill the other lurker. possibly doc.
e) my lover is trech, so mafia kills a random towny.

Yankee flips town.

Best case scenario:

a) Wolf or Yankee flips scum, and the mafia rid us of the non-lover lurker, who is vanilla, and we find a replacement for lover-lurker.

This will be my last post on this topic, and most likely this site (just got a second job and trying to go to school, so very busy now), but My thoughts right now so you can look back later at a confirmed townies thoughts on the matter (although mine might now mean much) is the following:
