Skruffs, it's pre-game Nebraska, not N1. When it's night in Oklahoma, D1 of Nebraska will start.

I know I didn't vote you, but I was the one to question you for lack of reason. Techically it's an Oh-My-God-U-Suck-For-Asking-Random-Vote-Reasons vote. Giving joking reasons sparks joking discussion, which in turn sparks pseudo-serious discussion, which in turn sparks serious discussion. Lack of a joking reason sparks no discussion of the like.

On the other hand, my failure to deliver one of these gems, and your immediacy to jump on that, has, in fact, begun to spark real conversation. Which, with only about a week for this day, needs to happen quickly. We do not have time for joking>pseudo-serious>serious in this game.
In fact, this was kinda my whole point in doing this. I hope someone else other than you chimes in, though, otherwise this discussion won't go much farther.

Actually, Skruffs, I don't think the nebraska mafia have a nk pre-game, either. Yeah they can talk during Oklahoma D1, but I don't see how they can talk strategy when the whole town is listening.

Skruffs, I'll defend myself in Nebraska, but hypothesizing about the setup from what I gathered is hardly a strong scumtell. And I don't know how correct the information I supplied you with is.

Meanwhile, I realize it's not much of a point, but would you kindly reply to my... well, call it accusation. Or is the last part of your post in regards to that?

Do you mean this?
Okay. Well, what would be the benefit of actually crying over perceived injustice to the mafia in a game I Am playing in, publicly, as mafia? This is why I voted Angelmouse. The idea is a sensationalistic one and not actually based on common sense and/or logic and/or deduction. If you are sure that you aren't scum in Nebraska then I Am happy to vote you instead of Angel, but she was the first one on the vote count anyways.
Short post, I'm halfway out the door. That wasn't really serious, but since I didn't see any activity, thought I'd ask you to comment. For want of a better wagon, I'm staying with you, now. The logic in your last sentence I can't quite follow.

I gave nothing for you to respond to, because you didn't have to respond. Total over reaction I feel to your mistake, not trap. Oh and I wont write it off as random later on, it wasn't in any form.

I feel you are backtracking for a big boo boo you made but moaning in the tread about the set-up (which mod I feel is great!). If you had a problem or question about mafia rules ask the mod in a PM. My vote wasn't opertunistic, it was because you were moaning about the fairness to the mafia. Saying now it was a trap is a very handy way of getting out of your mistake. Plus you have confused everyone to make them believe it was a trap.

My vote stays
Vote: angelmouse

I think the trap explanation is completely plausible taken my reaction. I realize that it was, in fact, a loaded question.

However, your reaction is pretty much OMGUS. I know that technically you were the first to vote Skruffs, and technically that makes it his vote that's OMGUS, but you jumped on Skruffs' wagon echoing a BS reason, which I mainly brought up for a reaction. You echoing it like it was a valid argument makes you pretty scummy. And when Skruffs votes you with a valid accusation, you effectively confirm your vote on him, with basically nothing more as an argument than OMGUS. The points you bring are only borderline valid at best, and I feel are more personal than called for.

Don't attack ZS for his strange ideas about mafia. I've been in another game with him where he showed that his stance regarding WIFOM, claiming and bandwagons differed from the mainstream, and this resulted in his D1 lynch. He turned up town, of course.

I'm not quite sure that I follow. Considering that, if they were mafia, they wouldn't have had the chance to speak to each other yet (as there hasn't been a Night Phase), so they couldn't have made this plan. Then again, they could simply have made it up on the fly. However, if so, they went about it the completely wrong way. There's to much risk that WLC would be seen as scum. At most, one is Mafia and the other is Town, because there is always that possibility. However, at the current time, I'm suspicious because of the incident that WLC voted saying kabenon hadn't posted immediately after kabenon's post, but I doubt that either is scum.
What I mean by the connection is that kabenon declared that
normally
he'd suspect WLC, but for some reason initially he doesn't. When pressured for this, he votes him. But this isn't all that important a point, I'm usually against seriously looking into connections until at least one scum's pegged.

What exactly made you think ZS and J-man are connected? And if they are mafia in Nebraska, why do you think J-man is mafia in Oklahoma, too?

Maybe, but unless someone else claims the ZS kill, this means I'm pseudo-confirmed, no? Therefore my claiming helps narrow down the suspicions.

Okay, what can I say to that? I'm not scum, and I claimed because the game was stalling.

And what would be the sense in that, kabenon, one scum using their vig and the other claiming the kill?

Oh yeah, I see. So the scum would effectively save a shot, by having that player confirmed by the kill.

Now Korts, who still has his shot left, draws all the attention, possibly getting himself lynched/killed, losing his vig-shot he supposedly has left in the process. Something's fishy here.
What attention? Nobody has really placed that much attention on him. He isn't under that much suspicion. And yes, if the scum who had used their one shot was the one who claimed the kill, then it is more likely they would be left alone and therefore the scums with a one shot left were more likely to be found.

I'm saying if this is a ploy, and Korts is scum, I think he still has his kill left.
But this is a dumb ploy, because it puts the scum who has a kill left at risk by having him claim and therefore in the spotlight of the town. It wouldn't necessarily get the scum lynched, but with him in the spotlight, any mistakes made would be doubly noted.

Misrepresentation. My argument was that no-one counterclaiming pseudo-confirmed me as ZS's killer, and this narrowed down the line of suspicion.

I know. That's what I thought at that moment, anyway. The logic goes something like this: if I'm confirmed as ZS's killer, that means that my kill is spent, and therefore I'm not a direct threat to the town. Therefore, for now, I can be removed from the list of lynch candidates.

But I realize that there are theories that blow a hole in this line of thought, for instance the scenario that kabenon said. I'm starting to think my lynch would be the best worst case scenario for the town, since having lost my vig, I'm less of a threat to the mafia than everyone else. I don't know what information there is to be gained from my lynch, but who knows?

Skruffs, the reason I vigged ZS and not you is because of ZS's slip that I attributed to him being scum. Basically. But I realize there's not much for me to do on the subject of a defense, as the case on me is all speculation. Lynching me... well, I wouldn't say it would be the least harmful, lynching scum would be less harmful, but yeah, it would be the best worst scenario for town.

Careless, maybe. But I had suspicions that conversation wouldn't be as intense so as to warrant a ZS lynch overt that single point, so I chose instead to vig him. Yes I was wrong, and I'm willing to take responsibility for it, but all I'm saying is that it's easy to act wise once you know the outcome.

So the whole series is cancelled? Shame.

I really liked the idea, it was just more than a little bit confusing seperating the two ongoing games mentally.
