The Rules:
1) I reserve the right to edit the rules at any time and apply them retroactively, in response to situations I may not have envisaged.
2) The game will start in day. Until all confirmations are received (which should be done by PM), any groups who can nighttalk may talk.
3) Do not quote Role PMs or any other PMs I send you unless I specifically state it is ok to do so. If a role PM is quoted, an instant modkill and a ban from any games I run in future will be installed. You also risk being banned from the website as a whole: see the general rules.
4) Votes should be in Bold Type and in the format Vote: XXX. This isn't a hard and fast rule, but it makes things easier for me and I can't guarantee your vote will be counted if posted otherwise. If it's not counted, well you'll just have to live with it.
5) When a majority of votes are reached, the player will be lynched. You may post in twilight, however if you are dead you may not post any more information relevant to the game. Feel free to post a "bah" post though.
6) Please send any nightchoices you send as quickly as possible. Long night phases are no fun for anyone.
7) Do not edit any posts you make.
8) No coded massclaims.
9) Please let me know in advance if you are going to be away. If you are inactive without warning for 48 hours, I will send a prod. If that prod is not picked up in a further 48 hours, I will search for a replacement. If you manage to contact me before I find a replacement, you can continue with your place in the game, but after I've found one it's too late.
10) I don't have a stupid colour, or anything fancy like that, but I will ocasionally edit people's posts: if I've done this, I will make it clear that I have done this. Impersonating me or any of my backup mods will result in an immediate modkill.
11) If any player claims to be scum outing their partners, the following steps will be applied: a)The offending post will be deleted. B)The player in question will be modkilled. C)The thread will be locked. D)The scum will be PMed: I will ask them if they wish to continue the game. If the answer is no, the game will be abandoned (though I reserve the right to overrule the scum if I feel they are abusing this. Any attempt to abuse this, btw, I will take very seriously.) If the scum wish to continue the game, I will unlock the thread and we will continue. THESE PROCEDURES WILL BE TAKEN WHETHER OR NOT THE PLAYER IS TELLING THE TRUTH.
12) Modkills will end the day if it hurts the faction who is modkilled more.
13) DEADLINES ARE AUTOMATICALLY IN PLACE: Day 1 will end 5 weeks exactly after I declare the game has started. Day 2 will end 4 weeks after Night 1. All subsequent days will last 3 weeks.
14) At deadline, a majority of a majority is sufficient to lynch. For example, with 12 players, 7 would lynch normally and 4 will lynch at deadline -> the player with the most votes over four is lynched. However, if there are two players on the same number of votes, the player who reached the tie level first will be lynched.
15) Night will also be deadlined: at most 1 week will be given to submit actions, though honestly, it should not take that long. Missing night actions simply will not happen.
16) Just because I may have forgotten rules doesn't mean you can break them.
