This was in response to the Jailkeeper asking for reads. I was a Vanilla Townie in that game. I suspected he could be trying to stay out of the lynch pool, so I called him out on it. That's right, I called out the (although I didn't know he was at the time) town PR because something felt off about what he was saying.
Also, House, when did Victor pass CCC in your scumreads?

Where did the Victor scumread REALLY come from? Don't point at your failed reaction test. That post was reachy and bad.

Also, where did your suspicion of me go?
The scumread came from a re-ISO, which is how I almost always re-evaluate my reads. I still find some of your posts suspicious, but I'm giving you a pass. Half botd, half trusting your play.

Nonsense, people can form scumreads from page 1. Why dismiss everything so far just because it's the early game? Better yet, at what point in the game are you allowed to start forming scumreads?

@CCC
- Can you give some other examples of Jester dodging questions?

I think Grendel is town but I don't agree with his Gamma scumread.
Gives a townread on me and Grendrl but doesn't explain. This could be an issue of default scum x-ray reads, where their reads come from their knowledge of who is who, and not any actual towntells.

You asked her about this before anyone else had the chance. And now you try to forge an associative link because Gamma essentially didn't repeat your question.

Also I /barn Gamma's original point here. You don't have to interact with something to assess them, particularly in this case.

Guy voting eagersnake doesn't want to lynch eagersnake. Worse, he also doesn't want to push a wagon but will join any going on about half the game. Any towniness I saw on Square just dissipated.

What i dont like about him right now is that he mentioned how eagers analysis on RhazhBash sucks.
While i think he has a valid point that its not really an analysis but rather a summary of what said player posted that game, i dont understand why he only refers to the RhazhBash analysis and not to the ones on Victor and Gerry.
I'm putting Manuel back into my "would lynch today" pile for this post.
Why is that?
I didn't like how he said he didn't like square's but wouldn't lynch for it, but then his reasons sounded more like valid reasons to lynch. To put it another way, I didn't see him thinking the second two lines but then coming to the conclusion in the first line.
I dont like his
playstyle
but i dont think thats a reason to lynch someone.
In my first game on this side i played with Not_Mafia who played similar to him. I said the same thing about NM and read him Null-Town the whole game because i could see some meaning in the stuff he did.
If in that game we would have done what Eager was pushing for this game we would have killed NM and probably lost the game.
The other 2 lines were simply what i thought was off about squares read on Eager. He didnt care about the 2 summaries of Victor and Gerry but reacted to the 3rd one on Rhazh.
While i think his argument is true it also applies to the other 2 "reads" from Eager.
Ok, I might have got this one wrong. You are now not in my "would lynch today" pile.
In post 442, House wrote:Day 1 lynch identified.

House has shifted from one easy lynch to another. The case feels mostly like noobtells more than scumtells but I'll not comment further until I get a chance to read Newbie 1727 in more detail.

I would prefer to lynch in my bottom 3, that's my prefrence. Nothing Square has said has really stood out to me. He tried to make a werid case on me that didn't make sense, and it seemed he backed off a bit when no one would follow.
Grendel, despite fosing me, I think is town for the reasons I stated earlier, he seems like he's actually scumhunting, and trying to find mafia. He also casted doubt on me when I first gave my TR on him, which imo is a TR. I wish he'd just see that I was town too. Eager has had good posts since the beginning and has been consistent the whole time, which I really like. House has really shot up my townread since subbing in. I don't think CCC is the best vote today, but I do like his case on him. But, I also like CCC's responses, so I would prefer not to vote him.
I don't like this A lot of talk about why people are townreads and yet next to nothing on his scumreads. He's happy to lynch either me or Huntress but doesn't want to say why. Feels like someone trying not get people on side and not rock the boat.

This is not EM.

Advice for EM is not relevant here.
It was a proof of concept post.
Scumnotch +1 for House for that rather tasteless and pointless nitpick.
You can't give scumpoints to players for discussing theory, when your actively seeking advice. I would say that if House becomes conf!town I would listen to House as he knows what he's doing. Alas, I'm still confident he's drawn red in this game.

In fact, forget everything else. Square World catch up is bull. If he/she is that disinterested then why not replace out. And why only periods of activity when the pressure is on. Square is now my preferred lynch.

Then Victor needs to be lynched for being scum off the wagon.

Victor has more experience with my town game than CCV and he's voting me although EVEN CCC recognizes my town play? That's hysterically obvious.
VOTE:
More nonsense. You're more than capable of doing townie things as scum. In fact I'd go further and say that your town/scum meta is not easily distinguishable IIRC.

Though the funny thing is, I agree with you that Manuel is a bad lynch.

=============================================================================

I find the number of townreads I have left in this game is diminishing. However, for the sake of coming to a conclusion I'm going to split you all into will vote won't vote piles:

Won't vote: Grendel, CCC, Manuel, The_Jester, Gamma, Gerry, Huntress
Would vote: House, EagerSnake, Square World

Square is preferred lynch but that's not happening. Neither is House. So eager it is:

Actually, I don't need a full set of explanations because most of my townreads are PoE.
The only person outside of Victor and CCC I can see being scum is TheJester. He's been very quiet for a while, and it looks like he's not going to stop any time soon. He's being typical lurking scum. Also, I may as well explain why I think Manuel is town. The only reason I voted him was a connection between him and Square World, a confirmed town, made by Eager, a confirmed scum. So:
Town to scum:
Manuel
Grendel
House
Huntress
Gerry
Jester
CCC
Victor

Oh and I don't think anyone answered Victor's question about whether a game was solved mathematically. The answer is yes. The Micro game Confirmed Guilties was won by testing each of the four players with votes on them to see if they could be town.

This is a loaded statement.
That's your objection? Not that it's downright false???

Powerlynch this scum tomorrow, town. It's been real.
That's why I said it was loaded: I'm not scum!
Yeah, correct your course quick!
What's that supposed to mean?

You know, the scummiest thing HOuse has done isn't what I was original thinking, it was fabricated reads. He keeps changing his read on me, and it's looking quite disingenuous.

Okay, so I think TheJester is scum not only for that tasteless hammer, but also because Victor's claim was real. How does this connect? Knowing Victor wasn't lying, Jester hammered within the grounds of the argument already presented so he could attempt to get a free pass to lynch PR.

If I was worried about his read, I wouldn't have let him survive one night! So there's no reason for me to kill him now and not Night 1.

Hey House, can I get a full read list from you? Just color coding will be fine. I don't really know your thought on Gerry or Manuel.

Manuel, I thought Eager had a good connection and I figured you were the more likely scum. I didn't consider the fact it was my scumread that said it. In the wise words of boring, "[Gamma]'s a more logical thinker, so it was easier for the two of us to seduce him with sound, rational arguments".

Okay, I believe this is a slip. He seems to

there is a role other than goon on the mafia team.

How is this a slip? Most mafia setups have more than just a goon. My first game on this site i was mafia. The setup that I was in that had 2 maf goons and a traitor encryptor. and I was mafia goon, and I actually thought it was unbalanced. So I'm guessing the fact there is a JOAT (with RB capabilities. not to mention the watcher and the BG). There has to be a stronger role than just goon. What would be the point of the RB there with possibly 3 mafia goons?
No House has a good point here. Why did you feel the need to point out that Eager was a goon, are you saying you would hard buddy a scum PR to safe him?

I think I should explain why mal is town to me.
Why would scum unvote me when coming in? Makes more sense to change vote after checking who is the best target. Leaving his vote on me would have been more preferable due to leaving me closer to being lynched.
Basically, mal is cleared to me because scum would not do what he did starting out if I was town, and I know I town so he can't be scum.

This answer was weird af, why'd you repeat yourself AGAIN while ignoring what he was saying, instead of just checking it after someone pointing you a role doesn't work the way you're describing. Sounds like you pushed further on the subject on purpose to make it seem like you're newbtown.

I don't believe Huntress's claim. I believe BP is quite a safe PR for scum to claim as it is a direct reason for scum to not lynch them, explaining their survival.

1) But you said that when he explained it it made a lot of sense, and now you're saying he was just agreeing with you? I think we're going round in circles here. I asked in what made
you
think that, not what House said. Can you go back and answer that please.

2) There was no counterclaim. House put his vote back on Victor purely because Victor said he was going to bed. You sheeped him, thus enabling the hammer. Read what you wrote in . The knowledge that Victor wasn't lying could apply to you just as much as to Jester.

In post 1996, House wrote:And instead of seeking clarification, you were happy to sit back and let me lynch him and only spoke up after his wagon fell apart.
I believe I did say that I wasn't interested in lynching him, when there were two votes on him (neither from you by the way, but you do seem to want to take credit for everything that happens in the game, even when it's others that are doing it). Contrary to what you are saying I did ask him for clarification, but I was more concerned with sorting out my thoughts on you.
1) I thought he was doing it because it felt like a likely town play.
2) Clarify your point please.

First part: looks like scum trying to stall to make up a badly made read.
In post 750, Huntress wrote:My read on eager is mainly a gut read but I'll try to pin it down a bit.

Eager's posting felt off from his very first post. Most people who want to do something other than rvs to start discussion just do it. Eager made a point of drawing the players attention to what he was doing. He was too quick to call Gamma town in , especially in view of his statement that he starts with the assumption that everyone is guilty until proved innocent. I didn't like the second part of . If he thought Victor might be town with an ulterior motive then he should have waited to see what came of it rather than point it out. Either way it would have been better to wait for Victor's explanation first. His vote on Square in was for an extremely flimsy reason. It was also for something that Manuel did, not Square. He's throwing the words "doubtcasting" and "WIFOM" around far too much and adding distracting stuff like .

Vote: eagerSnake
Yet again, feels like something scum would easier perceive in their buddy.

I'm not sure whether there's 2 or 3. Gerry, did you look at the review topic for Mini 1832. It had a fourth PR, albeit a one shot. There could still be two.
I suggest we massclaim. I'm vanilla townie.

Okay I'm going to say what I was thinking.
I think the possibility of 2 scum still exists. In the game I was using for the potential scum count in the latter half of this game, there was an omitted one shot vigilante. That would have made towns power:
Pinger(glorified fruit vendor basically)
tracker
watcher
one shot vig
in that game. So far in this game we have
JOAT
Watcher
BG
one shot BP
looking similar, but may be stronger. I'm thinking that scum's PR may be a strongman to deal with the defensive lean I see (BG, BP, RB and maybe Doc from JOAT). I was thinking that if we had 1 PR claim, I could determine whether a) scum was fakeclaiming or b) it really is 3 scum. But with no PR claims, I'm not sure about either possibility.

Wait.
If CCC is really town, which I am feeling, we're in auto win. Because we would have the same amount of lynches as potential scum.
If anyone has doubts that CCC is town, please bring them up.

Gerry is right here. He put his neck on the line to defend town, and his vote was not a plea vote. Dude's town. Meaning we have auto between CCC and mal.

Hm. CCC and mal are both good options, and with Manuel and Gerry clear, we have auto if we lynch in those 2. Willing to lynch either CCC or mal equally as much.

CCC provides a good point though. I'm feeling our best shot is mal.
This is a theoretical vote on malpascp.

I think Gerry is clear because he hard defended so much, but his vote didn't look forced.

I was also pretty sure Gerry was the Traitor day one because he tried to get the lynch on Square.

@Eggman: what powers did Square have as Jaot aand what did he do night 1?
I honestly forgot you were my partner and didn't check the PT until you were already at l-1.. that's when I backed off some but it was too late
That explains a bit.

Thinking back, we should have powerlynched Manuel. The entire crux of catching Eager was suspecting Manuel was scum.

I didn't have any associative tells, Gamma. I didn't know who my partner was so this would've been a faux-tell
And yet you still behaved like he was, opting to lynch Square instead of him.

D1 kill: PR
D2 kill: framing me
d3 kill: PR
If we lynched Gerry and Manuel wasn't dead, THEN questions should have been asked.
