It's more of a " hey look at me i think i know what I'm doing "
I don't think he's seriously trying to do anything but appear to be doing something.
I suppose that's your point.-

More vague could be just saying that he's voting for "reasons", so that isn't true.

That's not my point. I'm not talking about content and analysis.
You entered the game with a level of comfort that looked sort of like "hey look at me! scum would never post like this!" It's a strategy I use... to often as scum. That's why it struck me as odd.-

Fair point, kind of.
"level of comfort"? Should I be spazzing out and telling everyone I'm town
Uh, no that's kind of what I felt like you were doing.
It was either really scummy (hence the vote) or really town (as in, you're actually comfortable because you're really are town but you're just slightly awkward about it).
And to be clear, I know you aren't being serious in your first few posts. Like I get they're jokes.-

I did not get that vibe. Could you explain and point to an example?
Uh... like each post on the first page. It's more in the way he was saying things, responding to everything, acting all calm and cool. It felt forced. I'm not as sure rereading through it and considering the fact I'm still reading that tone in his posts even AFTER I pointed it out. I'm leaning more to it's just his posting style.
In post 66, Jaack wrote:@bins - What are your thoughts on robert's first post
It's really not enough for me to get any off of. It was awkward, but that's about all I can really take from it. The lack of vote doesn't bug me that much.-

I don't know what side I'm on in the whole Keyser/Tyler vs. xyzzyz. I have a tendency to be paranoid of people who act like they know what they're doing. I disagreed with a few of Keyser's points, but his entry is solid and I find myself agreeing on the bigger points.
I liked xyzzyz's follow up in 89 a lot (the long post). I felt like he comfortably was able to explain himself and elaborate further on his earlier points.
I didn't like Tyler's entry. Who was the person who said they had a strong townread on him? I'd really like you to explain that.

XY, I'm trying to figure out who I'm going to switch my vote to. I just haven't read as in depth as I had liked. I pretty much skimmed and looked at the early stuff before I had to go to work.
My feelings have changed. If Dunn was mafia I feel like he would have dropped this "hey look how into this game I am" (I'm really trying to explain this as best I can) tone after being called out on it by 3 people. I'm curious about how he's actually going to push this "case" on me.-

This is why I didn't like his entry.
Other than that my read is mainly just paranoia because of what I mentioned. Very similar to the reason I was scumreading Dunn at first but less awkward. Very "I know what I'm doing, look at me".
The fact all I have is gut reads right now is mainly - yep I'm making an excuse - because I haven't played this game in a year and I've pretty much forgotten what to look for. Don't bug me about it.-

I don't think that is a good reason to think that Dunnstral is town-aligned. If I was using that metric to read Dunnstral I would invert it and call him scum-aligned for it, but I think the best thing to do is ignore it.
I think you are focusing excessively on this non-alignment-indicative aspect of Dunnstral's play because you are scum-aligned and your attempts to read players are fake.
VOTE: Bins
I don't understand & I don't like how you worded that last sentence.
I don't understand how tone isn't alignment indicative.-

Like the whole "if I was using that metric I would scum read him" is such a weird POV, don't you think? Anyways, agree to disagree that Dunn would drop it. Like I said, the fact Dunn is now comfortable pushing me in the way he currently is doesn't seem like scum to me. I interpreted his earlier posts incorrectly, and now I'm seeing it really is just a weird vibe in the way he posts. He's continuing to jump around like "Look at me! No fear!" and that's no longer scummy to me. If he flipped scum, I'd be impressed he was able to keep his tone like that.
UNVOTE: dunn
Dunn, I'm passive because I grew more unsure of my read on you. I fail to see how that's not a normal approach.-

I like Keyser's commentary on reasoning behind other people's reads, that's a pretty deep thing to look into and on the harder side of things to fake as scum.
I had a reason for leaning town on Ira. Have to go find the post.
Either way I'm at the point where I have too many town reads and might just vote a silent person.-

Usually if I see a person make a post I cannot see coming from scum I shove them into my town pile and in my notes I had done that with Ira but I honestly can't figure out why and reading through his ISO I feel pretty awful

Just the way he tries to continuously dismantle suspicion on himself by explaining himself very "Yep. This is how it is. Lmfao, back off now." (as you can see I have a Ph.D. in explaining)

Did not like 210 for the "I'm gonna vote a lurker cause you're all so town" aspect. Looked like bins recognized he was about to do something scummy and decided to butter us up with townreads to make us ignore his scumminess.
Methinks a townie would have just voted for a lurker.
I actually do think scum is being quiet right now.
Also, I'm quite self-aware.-

Wait. Yeah, Keyser I'm confused it seems like you have strong feelings about Ira but you haven't made a clear stance on them? What do you think of ira? Why not go for the person with the bad logic instead of the person that follows them?-

These last few pages have been super interesting.
I want to do a reads list but 1) I'm in bed 2) Jake will bite me.
Something personal "came up". More like, my meds effected me more than I thought they would and I currently feel like I'm going to die. I'm hoping this passes because holy shit I can't do anything. If it continues, i'll eplace. But it wasn't hard for me to read up so i should be good.
Keyser did you ever answer Tyler/my question because I'm sort of glossy eyed rn but I didn't see it-

I like Dunn's last few posts, I don't think what H_A did was a scum slip but I don't think it's that incriminating that Zach thought it was one. boy who cried scum slip... Idk if that's super scummy.
Robert is more MIA than me so like fuck that. He's sort of high on my list rn I just wish I had something to go off of.
Tyler is probably town
I really like Tool's posts / general observations
Floof is like eh
Jake is pretty town too but I'm less confident
I think xyzzyz has reached a point where he's putting so much effort I'd be impressed if he was scum. I feel the ability to ask questions and pull so much from everyone's posting is quite town. I usually get weary of A LOT of effort. I need to look more in depth in his posts to get more feels
h_a and Jaack and I can't remember who else I'm missing are really hard to comment on rn. I generally don't get a bad feel from h_a and Jaack is like eh but like eh. I need to ISO both of them
Idk who I'm missing
Ira is making me so unsure of him at this point ugh. I really have to draw this out
These are my general feels to that read through please dkm-

I disagree with this. After h_a's claim, ira was the most likely lynch by a decent margin. Claiming now would buy scum-ira a day (and in the very unlikely event they're scumbuddies, 2+ days)
That being said, H_A is and should be the lynch today as he is still the likelier scum between them.
I am fine with an H_A lynch whenever, but I won't vote right now since people want to say things

Honestly, I want to say something concrete but I'm at the point where everything I say is going to have 50% doubt behind it.
I really liked Iraonovp's post. I feel an H_A lynch is fine, but I'm just fucking peeved about lynching the doc claim, of course. When it is possible there's a BG and Doc (THE WEAK ROLE DOES HELP THIS I DON'T KNOW WHAT TOOL WAS SAYING). But in a way, man, clearing up the H_A and Robert scum possibility is important. I just agree that there's a chance - A CHANCE - that H_A is scum and Robert is not and that's more likely than Robert scum and H_A not. Robert's move, much like Irao's, was crazy town.-

Okay, should clarify why I like the Irao post. Basically, I feel that Irao looking in pretty much everyone else but the other two three is pretty town here and is pretty much what I'm doing right now in my head. I feel like since we have 3 claimed roles at this moment (2 which are very protown), scum isn't going to want to just nope out on the chance of lynching one of them.-
