As far as setup speculation goes, all I think is worth saying is that unless mothrax is pulling something really unorthodox then FULCRUM are the scumgroup, and claiming "Harry Tang" should not be viewed as either townish or scummish.

I have been excited for this game ever since I got my pre-in for it.
Suspects have jumped around throughout. Do you want a linear list of everything from my first post? Although there are a few more people that are catching my eye now.

Ant hasn't done anything worthwhile all day, which might be what other people have been picking up on. Most of his posts are small short-term reads that don't have much visible impact on his own view, or on the view of others. He pretty much just quotes some posts and says a few things on them every now and then. When he has voted, it's generally been on weak targets, he went from Thor (RVS) to MoS (Lurker) to Pere (Contentless), to Dana (Already being attacked), and then back to MoS.

When he provided reads on all his players, very few of them had any analysis at all. For the most part he just called players that looked town, town, and then called Dana (who was being attacked) scum.

So he's got zero worthwhile content, and just goes after the weakest link all the time. I skimmed over some of his other town games, couldn't find any mafia ones. It looked like he was generally more aggressive and meaningful in his posting there.

Most of that was post D1. I seem to follow the same cycle usually. Good start, taper off at mid D1, come back D2 strong and go from there.

Wow. I'm pretty sure I've voted thor all-throughout the game - If you're counting votes, then why not pressurize me on it?

I don't like these posts at all. They seem like they are trying to derail possible wagons by attacking the credibility of the arguments in a very crappy way. Maybe it was because they were not making a case on you ooba? Why are you getting so defensive about it?

Ant's early game consisted of a lot of defending TS (although to be fair, today he doesn't want to give TS the executioner role). When I reread through his ISO, it felt like when he called out Vez for role fishing, it was more of a chainsaw defense for TS than actual scumhunting. In fact, when you go through his posts there's almost no scumhunting at all, just defending other players, speculating on the setup, buddying, or OMGUSing

I won't deny that I have not gotten aggressive before in games. It is just I have had reasons too be. Nothing exciting/arguable has happened in this yet.

Alrighty.

Initial thoughts on my reread of the end of the day was that Peregrine was pretty scummy with derailing the dana wagon. His vote change pretty much sealed EP (as well as RC's vote change, but that is a moot point now for him) as the lynch for the day. Unfortunately, it really means nothing unless dana flips scum. Although, it is possible that Peregrine could be scum while dana is town, but I find that less likely of an option.

As for some of my other reads, I think I might have been barking up the wrong tree, so I will get back with my updated opinion on some people. I should have more when I get home tonight.

Magua, how much of the flavour do you know? Better yet, do you keep up with Chuck at all? Same for Empking too.

I didn't like Magua from the start of his replacement. Yes, some of it probably was the confusion of the fake daykill (second one of D1 ), but I also didn't like constant attacking of everyone. I feel like it is looking for any weakness for him to pounce on as scum.

Better for [EP] to flake and get replaced than to get lynched. If he's not going to flake, he needs to step up his game and post some content.

But yet Magua was the one to start the wagon on EP at the end of the day. We had a couple other better lynches to go with, but yet he decided to start on on EP.

If Ragnarokio flips scum I think we also have enough evidence to link Magua to scum as well. I addition to the defense of her D1 I also found this stood out to me.

EP's been less useful than Dana, and I'd rather get lurkier people out of the way quicker. My reads on both of them are fairly neutral.

Townie Thought Process: I think ReaperCharlie is scum. He's scum scum scum. Oh, he died and flipped town. Guess I was wrong. I need to reevaluate stuff.

At no point is the town "confused" about what's going on. What's going on is simple. I thought EP was scum. He flipped town. That didn't confuse me. It made me sad, but it didn't confuse me.

The scum thought process is different. Scum going after RC know that RC's not really scum. They shoot him, he flips town, they're not really surprised. But they want to fake a townie reaction. They have this idea that the townie reaction is to be consistent, still believing that RC is scum even with the mod flip. So out comes "confusion".

This is bollocks.

It really feels like this is stretching things quite a bit.

Also, for the stuff on the hammer. I believe I clearly pointed out how I interpreted the mod's post about the deadline extension. I understood that we would gain time after a replacement, but the deadline was so near, I highly doubt that a replacement would have been found. I still agree with what RC said about a dana flip being more informative than an EP flip.

The he is EP. Near the end of day MoS and ooba were my top two scum picks. Opposite part was on how EP was going to flip.

Does anyone else feel like he is being a bit opportunistic here? For the most part, his focus this day has been elsewhere, but now seems to be sliding onto the two popular wagons near the end here.

MoS/MBF look a bit more on the townish side to me from the change from D1 to D2. I don't think either of them are a viable lynch today.

I am torn on Ragnarokio. I am trying to skim through and find the cases on her and evaluate if my townish read on her D1 was wrong or not.

I am thinking that Magua/Peregrine are the best two for a lynch today (somewhat leaning towards Peregrine.)

Just because I didn't think Dana was scum doesn't mean that I "killed the chance" to lynch him. There were 11 other players voting people, and I have no control over RC- only my own vote. So, it sounds accusatory, like I did have control over it.

This bothers me. It is like he is trying to avoid being connected to the issue. He had his vote on dana for 8 days, but thought he was "scummy, but probably town". Also, note that he only switched off dana, they day of the deadline to start a non-existent wagon. Not pro-town here.

I don't like the way Ant switches back and forth between voting MoS and defending MoS. And MoS is sort of returning the favor, but neither is doing it directly.

Pere case is mainly built around him quickly jumping off the dana wagon last minute to ensure that the lynch would be EP. Look back on D1 on how he kept his vote on dana but didn't really believe in her lynch. D2 I brought it up and we had a small argument. He was clearly denying that he was connected to dana because of it.

Then look at his change of vote after I claim. Nothing but a vote. No comment about the events going on. I also picked up that vibe from Empking as well. I was assuming the vig (yes I am assuming it is a vig at this point would have been a bit smarter than he was but I believe it should be fairly obvious who it is. Unless there is something else going on, but I will figure that out when people actually answer my question >:( )

Yes, I know ooba and RC brought up that Harry Potter mafia were the main characters were mafia, but look at the flips of this game. All town VTs so far have been good minor characters in the show while the mafia flip was definitely one of the bad guys in the show.

These are the 4 people that I would be willing to lynch today. Obviously Pere is the best to go with (imo) because I feel like he has the strongest connection to dana and overall scummy actions from D1.

Besides Rag's case (because it doesn't work quite the same as the others), there are 2 that don't fit in here. Now, I will actually concede the point about MoS not getting the middle name because from the other flips, it is obvious they didn't get their middle names. But hey, that is ok because I have a guilty on him. Now for Empking's case...that is the only one that doesn't use their nick name in quotes. Take it as what you will, but I just noticed this today.

In that game, scum had a doc and town had a nurse. I don't find a day doc (who is a real doctor not related to any spy stuff) that crazy. Although...I am a bit odd myself so meh. Also, in that game, I was outed as a power role (double voter; which in that game was a powerful counter to the scum) There was no denying my power, and even though I was a threat, they didn't kill me that night. Instead, they kept me alive, handed me the power to make the final kill, and laughed at me while I lost the game.

EBWOP: Ant just slipped up a bit IMO. He knows Thor is town, but he shouldn't have any reason to think that's the case if he is town himself.

Thor and Rag, you have the power to make him shut up. Thor's logic makes sense, which yes, means that we have nailed Empking as the last scum which means that voting him shouldn't be a problem. Although, because of my guilty on MoS I feel it is my duty as town to not take a chance when I have a 100% scum.

MoS claims to be a "confirmable" PR. Scum plan to use that "confirmation" on me and try to sway my opinions in the game. They need me alive. Plus, at that point, I was tunneling the hell out of Pere.
I manage to get an inno on the GF which was a super plus for them.
If they killed me last night, that would 100% guarantee that I was telling the truth about MoS and lose the game for him.

a) From my supposed position within the scumgroup and my weak role, it would be disadvantageous to the mafia for me to act the way I did. Lynching the Godfather makes *no* sense from my position if I was scum!
b) From Ant's position as the fakeclaimed cop, dana and Empking were expendable tools to make him look better.
c) Ant called for a vig kill on a supposedly investigation confirmed innocent Empking, which would have wasted the town's vig kill for the night if they had listened.
d) If I was scum, why didn't Empking and I kill Ant Night 3 instead of MBF? That would have only helped to confirm Empking as town, and we probably could have gotten you lynched because of your WTFLOLOMGBBQ roleclaim. Leaving Ant alive only put us in more danger, as we had to know he would investigate either myself or your that night, and our roleblocker was already dead.
e) Who benefits more from Rag being dead instead of you? Ant or me?

a) Last ditch attempt to bring this 1v1 into a day where you only need to convince ONE person to join your side. In reality, this loss really meant nothing to the game. No matter what, it has just been one misslynch away for a scum win these last 2 days. Which day you get it doesn't matter.
b) Yes...let's start bussing the hell out of my two teamates when there was NO NEED at that point in the game. We could have easily swung the lynch elsewhere.
c) I explained my case on him (which was more than MoS did) I told you to look at his votes post me claiming. He tried EVERYTHING to save dana from a lynch. That is why I investigated him, and why I didn't want to believe my result. That night I was SET on it being Pere/Empking and ready to claim my win at that point. You can kinda see that in my posts.
d) Aww...another He Said vs He Said right here. Because in the QT you were pushing the idea of SK Rag and I was going along with it being a plausible idea. You probably thought I was going to waste my investigation on it by the way I was agreeing with you. I'm guessing you were really blindsided when I came back with your result. N1 stuck between copping ooba and MoS. Chose ooba over MoS
