The Laws of the Outlaws

1.) Votes must be bolded and at the start of a line. If we don’t see it, we wont count it.
2.) Unvoting is nice, but not necessary.
3.) Once a majority is reached, that person is lynched.
4.) If there is no majority at deadline, there will be no lynch for that day.
5.) Day 1 will have an approximated deadline based on when the game starts – it will be no less than a week. All following days will have a deadline of 10 days.
6.) Nights will have 60 hours maximum. Any night actions not submitted will simply not happen – the thread should be open 60 hours following a deadline lynch.
7.) Do not talk about this game outside the thread unless your role allows you to.
8.) When you die, you are dead. Stay that way.
9.) Do not edit posts. Do not use invisible text. Do not use small text.
10.) Do not quote any communication from the mod (that includes PMs) in the game thread.
11.) If you are going to be gone for an extended period of time, please let me know. See rule 12.
12.) If you do not post for the equivalent of a full game day (10 real life days) you will be force-replaced. Further, you will be blacklisted from any future games using the BaM ruleset. The room is calm, as waves of of relief and content wash over the Red Dragon Clan as these events take place. A man pierces his thumb, and presses it on a piece of paper."

And with that the man in the white suit takes leave. Mao Yenrai watches as the plane leaves drifting peacefully up into the sky.

Then the plane explodes. A crow cries out. People scream in the streets.

A blade is raised to Mao's head.

"This wont do you any good. The times have changed, the syndicates can survive like this any longer. This endless bloodletting is tearing us apart-"

His throat is slit. A clean slit like the wicked smile of the one behind these acts.

Ah Mars. A beautiful Red Demon of a planet with Oases of paradise sprinkled across the surface. Each of you came here from different walks of life, but they have converged upon this enterprise called Bounty Hunting. You came here to make cash, a lot of it. As you land though, the place is in turmoil. You realize that you won't be just hunting bounties... The Red Dragon Clan has made a move on the opposing White Fang Gang. They wiped out their opposition, and are now putting into place their plans to take over the entirety of Mars. You didn't come here to be subverted to some Crime Lord! Looks like you'll be pulling double duty-hunting bounties and mafia-and hopefully you'll earn your stripes that much quicker.

A beautiful end.

Everyone sets out on their own path to find what they are looking for. Evil? Money? Friends?

An entire planet of secrets awaits. But the bounty on Andy expires, as you converge on your suspect for the evil lurking in this town.

Hands in pockets, he takes out a cigarette as he looks casually at you all.

Taking a puff, he smirks,
"Heh, I'm a man who's already died once."
A few of you take out your guns and move in on him slowly, surrounding him.
"Whatever happens, happens."
A grenade tumbles out of his other pocket, and everyone dives for cover.

BOOM!

Gunshots ring out in rapid fire as you begin firing into the smoke after the man. You chase him into a high rise building, where his well placed shots keep you at bay as he advances up the grand entrance.

But the man is only human, twelve people versus one isn't a fight anyone but a fictional character could hope to win.

He stands on the roof of the building looking out over the city as you break open the hastily barricaded door to meet him. He spins around and aims his Jericho at one of you, and pulls the trigger.

He tosses his gun casually over the side.
"Guess I couldn't find out if I was really alive or not... It was just as I thought, just watching a dream I'll finally wake up from."

You open fire on him, and bullets tear through his chest and stomach. A wound opens up over his left eye forcing him to shut it. He collapses back against the railings, losing strength fast. Clutching that edge, he raises his right finger.

"Bang."

Spike falls off the building, gliding down into that eternal darkness.

There's criminals on the loose, the bounties don't just fall out of the sky into your lap like a scripted plot, its all just so....

Then you see him. Leaning against his ship at the port. Smoking a cigarette.

"Everything has a beginning and an end. Life is just a cycle of starts and stops. There are ends we don't desire, but they're inevitable, we have to face them. It's what being human is all about.

When I was a cop, this was my beat. I’m the Black Dog and when I bite I don’t let go. I have no regrets about her, but I’ll settle this score on my own turf."

His arm lies uselessly at his side. Weakened by his wounds, he'll never be able to raise it again.

"Heh. This is my arm and this is my ship. I'll go down the way I came out.... singing the blues."

Puzzled at how someone could die so peacefully... you wonder what his philosophy was. How he could drift into eternal sleep without a tear from his eye.

"I hate stories like this. Men only think about the past right before their death. As if they were searching frantically for proof that they were alive." He said, as if reading your collective minds. "Forget the past, and have no regrets. Go out there and live today like yesterday was only a dream.

Because after all. Yesterdays and dreams are both only in your head.

Blood is what you want, for some inexplicable reason. Her... the one called Julia. She loved Spike, but she helped drive him to his death... she's a liar! She's evil. You confront the one who loved without a heart.

"So, how about those bounties?"

You grab her, and underneath her mask is the wicked smile of the devil.

"When angels fall from heaven they become demons. Let's dance, wolves of the earth. Let the strongest survive."

He draws a katana as the first of you charges him. He slices, dices and pummels his way through the crowd, injuring many.

Crimson blood sprays like evil in spring. Fountains of hatred pour out as bullets fly.

"Heh, you think I care? I was the only one who could keep him alive, or kill him. He was supposed to kill me too. But here I am, dying to empty bullets full of weakness."

His katana clatters to the ground as he kneels down. Hands wet with so much blood, he collapses over and lays on his back. Raising his hand to his face, he traces tears of scarlet down his visage.

Then he laughs.

A wicked, horrible laugh. One that silences all agony, hope, and fear in the world. A mesmerizing laugh that echoes for eternity...

A smoke rises from east of the city, and everyone goes to check it out as the most interesting thing that had happened so far that day.

It was a fire that had gone out. The fire of the old wise man Laughing Bull, who sat there watching the embers, bullets through his chest.

After the music fades, the trance lingers. You slowly remember why you are here, and move toward the musician.

"I guess it's time huh? I couldn't hide forever."

"You're as good as caught, Faye Valentine." One of you says, and you move to arrest her.

"Heh, that's funny. Not only do I have no intent of being arrested, I'm not Faye Valentine. My name is Grencia Mars-ah no one calls me that. Just Gren is fine."

He slips out of his handcuffs, and shoves the one holding him into the doorway, blocking those still inside the bar. He runs for the nearest craft, and you open fire on him.

Struck in the back, he crashes into the ship. He manages to climb up into it, and fires it on. Bullets tear through the body of the ship, and black smoke begins to trail out from behind it.

But it flies.
She gets away.

"I want to go back to Titan. One last time..."

The ship catches on fire. It crashes in the desert. In the wreckage you find she wasn't a she at all, or a he for that matter. But it was dead."

But she can't hate her enough. There was an emptiness in Faye's eyes that disarmed her... Faye wasn't a bad person. Alisa couldn't blame her for any of this... A gollum-like figure pounces on her back, choking her, and the gun slips out of her hands. Soon she is unconscious and Faye finishes her off.

"No wonder you depended on Jet for so long... you're just as weak as you were then. Hmph."

A few hidden mechanics/FAQ role questions:
-The bounty would NEVER be on Spike, Jet, or Vicious.
-If there was no longer a unique bounty in play, Big Shot the show would've been "canceled" and no more bounties would've occured.
-Probably a few more that I'll think of as it comes
-Hider did die if he hid with a miller
-Enforcer enabled the scum to have daytalk
-One-Shot Assassin was a one-shot Ninja/Strongman, not an additional shot.
-Scum could not kill and submit an ability on the same night, even if they were the last scum left.
-Astrologer got random information each dawn about actions that resolved last night/


The design was supposed to be that if town ever caught a break and lynched scum, the scumteam's power dropped exponentially. Each was a key member, one having Day-talk, the other having information on who was the bounty each day, and the last being the roleblocker.

So if you got one? You're in good standings. Two? That cripples the last one who can no longer use their power role and kill. I also didn't want anyone to be "role confirmed" or meta confirmed or any of that. The closest I came to that was GreyICE who WAS confirmed town to UK just to have at least one person that was town to help everyone out with PoE. That backfired when UK didn't 100% clearly describe her role information (even though it was immediately obvious to the scumteam that she was Jet Black) that cleared Grey, and then died N1.

She died because she was killed, and as LLD speculated, she could bodyguard anyone she wanted (and she bodyguarded LLD N1 >_>).
Nacho tracked Toasty going nowhere before he died, IIRC.

With those two dead back to back, all of town's non-bounty power was eliminated. Well Antitown still had his one-shot find out who the bounty is, which I THOUGHT he would use when the bounty was on Faye Valentine, but he never sent in the action and then died.

What made me sad:
-Spike dying D1. I always random.org the set-up three times religiously, and the first time Vi was Spike and I was tempted to roll with it >_>
-No one ever lynching a bounty
-KDUB NOT BUSSING AGM, GETTING TOWNS HOPES UP, THEN TROLLING THEM ALL WITH A VOTE STEAL THE NEXT DAY, he loses his scum MVP for that that's for damn sure ;_; I'm giving it to Vi who just by way of reputation had rippling effects for days and got Jahudo's mislynch sealed
-Town MVP...uhhh.... Toasty? From going from lynchbait to NK drawing?

I know its a "badass" habit to read it once and then play the game without ever looking back at it, but it really is anti-town.

I mean it was a huge crux of the argument that lead to you NOT being confirmed town here, and having the town split at LyLo.

As for my history with it, well it easily cost town the game in Vi's PEWPEW mafia where I never turned my shield on all game and took heavy damage from scum.

After that I made sure I knew what my role was.
