The mechanics for this is not a normal game though.
We first place an "insurance lynch" on CSL on the immediate start of D1. This way, assuming we're unable to reach a consensus of lynching a player we deem more likely to be scum, the policy lynch for CSL can comfortably go through with no deadline rush etc. Especially since each day is essentially 7 days.
If we find someone more likely to scum, we can just switch our votes over.
I don't see what's anti-town about this strategy at all.

I'm not so sure Mal is a good candidate for a lynch. His post does come off as a little scummy, but his vote and reasons do not.

I am a Gunsmith.
I was given an explicit list of roles that would show up as having a gun:
Cop/Watcher/Trackers, Vigs, Other Gunsmith, Paranoid Gun owners, SK's, and Mafia. NO OTHER ROLES HAVE GUNS.
It should be obvious now that I had a recent investigation of Fishy which he has shown to have a gun.
Coupled along with my gut read on Ann and some other stuff, it should be obvious I'm thinking that Fishy is scum.
The role questions I asked now are pretty obvious now. If he was a Cop/Tracker/Watcher/Gunsmith he would have chose the Investigative section. If he was a vig, the killing. PGO is impossible because I'm still alive.
His more recent posts shows he clearly does not have one of the listed town roles.
Hence he's Mafia or an SK.

It's in the wiki so that means it wouldn't be hard to make up that role. Add the fact that Gunsmith or Flavor Cop is not on the list of roles provided by the mod. I know the mod also said roles could be based on that list but I think Elli forced Fishy to claim because he is in fact a mafia watcher.

IIRC there were only a few hours/minutes left when Ann counterwagon started.
Assuming Ann is town, the scum know that both DRK and Ann are town.
If they switch over to Ann, and the lynch doesn't happen, they win, DRK dies.
If they switch over to Ann, and Ann is eventual lynched, they win. Ann dies, and they can settup DRK and myself to take the blame for the mislynch.
Of course, the second hold some risk as they would be on the Ann mislynch wagon, but the probability the switch was going to happen didn't look to high, and they use the oppurtunity to look they're going off a townie lynch wagon.

At least that's how I see it. Am I missing something?

GG scum...completely misread farside and Juls, I didn't think scum would jump on the last-second wagon switch on their buddy.

What happened with Ann was as follows: In mafia with Quickness he mentioned he thought I was town due to me following my town meta. All the games that were available to meta me with at the time were either ones where my flip wasn't revealed yet or I was playing in a different manner.
The only game I actually played in a similar fashion was here, hence to know my town meta he had to know my alignment here and be scum.
