RULES

0) I am only human. If you think I've made a mistake or have a query, send me a PM.

1) This is a game. While playing to win, you must also have fun and play nice. Failure to follow this rule will result in an unsatisfactory mark on your testing record, followed by death.

2) To vote for someone, bold it like so.

Vote: Caf19

. Unvoting is appreciated, but not required.

3) A lynch occurs when someone has a majority of votes. A no-lynch is also possible; you can vote for this in the normal manner.

4) Deadline lynches: At deadline, I will reduce the number of votes needed to lynch by 1, unless there are 5 or less players alive in which case the usual majority is needed.

5) Each day will have an autodeadline of (number of living players*3) RL days, i.e. Day 1 will be 36 days long.

6) Long nights are rubbish. Each night will last 72 hours maximum. I don't hang around, so make sure you get those choices in!

7) Dead people cannot talk. If you die, please refrain from posting in-thread until the game ends.

8) Do not quote, or fakequote, your role PM or other private communication from the mod.

9) No talking with other players outside the thread, unless your role specifically allows you to.

10) After 72 hours of inactivity, I will prod you. You have another 72 hours to post, or be replaced. Repeated need for prodding will result in replacement, unless you inform me of V/LA beforehand.

11) The mod's decision on all matters is final. (That's ridiculous. It's not even funny.)

Apologies for the late lock; I went away (brief trip to London) yesterday, and wasn't really expecting all hell to break loose in the meantime.

Nothing too interesting there really - scum's kills were pretty much scripted from N2 onwards. The cop investigating the GF caused me to raise an eyebrow, but then he died the same night so it didn't matter.

Anyway, thanks to you all for playing. It turned out that I got really lucky with everyone having already pre-inned and there being replacements generally available, so really my workload was quite low and I could be 'hands off', which suited me fine. I did initially feel a bit of added pressure not to screw up totally what with this being the invitational mini and all, but that went away soon enough.

Around the later stages of D1 when suspicion was focused mostly on townies and there was a tendency from several people to call Adel obv-town, I started to think the game might end up being an easy win for scum (which surprised me because the setup has the potential to swing for town, although as it transpired they ended up getting a lot less help from the power roles than I might have expected). It was good for the game that things evened out with a scum lynch D2, and to be honest I was fairly surprised that Ecto didn't get lynched D3. Still, D4 he did, and Vi's assured play that day is probably what swung it so decisively on D5.

Anyway, boy do you all like to talk a lot

around the height of frenzied discussion on D2 it all became a bit much for me to follow totally, but I recovered soon enough, which is a good thing because I think I've learned a lot from this game just by reading along.

I got a few interesting speculation-PMs during the game, which I'll leave for the senders to post if they want to. Some of you were more correct than others.

Just to reiterate, thanks for playing, y'all. It was more or less a mod's dream game.
