! Your sanity is confirmed. You may choose one person each night and I will reply back their alignment. You win when all mafia members, and the serial killer, are dead, and at least one townsperson is alive.

Doctors.

You are a

doctor!

You can choose one person each night (except yourself!) and that person will be immune to Night kills, unless two or more people have targeted this person for nightkill. You win when all mafia members, and the serial killer, are dead and at least one townsperson is alive.

Masons.

You are a

mason! Your partner is X.

You and your partner can pm each other at night. You win when all mafia members, and the serial killer, are dead, and at least one townsperson is alive.

Vigilantes.

You can choose one person each night and that person will be killed, provided he was not doctor-protected. You win when all mafia members, and the serial killer, are dead, and at least one townsperson is alive.

The Rules (Taken From LML's The New C9)

THE RULES:
[01] Have fun and don't be a jerk. Please have consideration for the other players and the mod, and actually PLAY the game by posting and voting.
[02] No communication outside the thread unless your role allows you to do so and then only in the game's nights.
[03] Get your choices in before the deadlines. If not, a random choice will be made for the first night, and no choice for subsequent nights.
[04] No quoting my or others PM's. No paraphrasing of winning conditions either.
[05] If you're dead YOU'RE DEAD. No more posting relevant information after that.
[06] Lynching will be carried out once a regular majority is reached - and cannot be undone by unvoting. If I impose a day deadline, lynching will require at least half of the regular majority. In case of a tie, first come first served. In the endgame (6 or less) only a real majority will result in a lynch.
[07] Only votes in BOLD will be counted. Please clearly unvote if you want to change your vote, although I will still count your vote if you don't.
[08] Do NOT edit or delete your posts! If you made a coding error, just post again.
[09] Do NOT post in invisible text.
[10] If you know you will not be checking the thread for a period of 72 hours or more, it would be nice if you would post that beforehand. If you fail to post for 4 RL days in a row (weekends count as 1 day). You will be prodded. If you need to be prodded more than 3 times, you will be replaced. Lurking as a playstyle does not fly in this game.
[11] If you're out of the game, you may come back as substitute - only if you do not talk to other players about the game after your death of course.
[12] The mod is always right. Accept the decisions, and if you want to discuss them, take it to email, or do so after the game has finished.

Some notables:

The Cop Role has been changed.

Cops can only detect the Mafia, not the Serial Killer.

If the SK and the mafia both target someone, there must be at least two doctors protecting this person.

Masons can now talk during the day.

It was LML's original design, and i respect that.

This game will start at night.

We're down to 3 mafia, 1 SK and 13 town. If we all town lynch and our vig kills town and SK kills town (worst case scenario) we LyLo D2/D3 (depending on N2 vig kill and SK kill)

However, that will be a damn unlikely scenario. The best thing we can do today is give our vig the greatest leads we can.

Upon the notion of NKs I believe them to be in the following responsibilites:
Samuruc = mafia kill
Cheif = SK
Xdaamno = Vig.
reasons: that is the order the roles apear above, and I think that is accurate with standard practise. It has no relevance however.

Upon the above evidence the best case of action I can see is:

Vig, while it is possible that you killed scum last night, it is usually best that you do NOT kill on Night 0, since, with no discussion beforehand, it is often very likely that you'll hit a protown player, or even worse, a power role, which would make things much more difficult for the town. So whoever you are, I'd reserve your vig kill until you think someone is likely to be scum, since if you hit a townie, it's one less player the scum have to get out of the way before winning.

The vig has a 50/50 chance of either hitting scum or hitting a townie. For all we know, the vig killed the townie and the SK killed the mafia member. In the other "New C9", kill methods were shown. Here, they were not.

I find it incredibly interesting that your opening post contained that line. It's possible, as you say, but no more probable that he was the SK. I find it very curious how the tone of your post makes it seem like you KNEW that the vig killed Mafia.

Hey yo! Looks like utter chaos. I love it. Wile I agree with sammich that perhaps serious discussion is a usually unwarrented on page one, I love we have a couple leads. If I had to guess, I'd say sk kill means the vig. I'm guessing the vig kill follows the same format of the mafia kill- of course maybe in the street is designation of a pro town role... Hell I dont know.

I was only telling the vig why he shouldn't kill Night 0, after realising he may have killed scum in this game, and would have picked up the idea that it's a good thing to do in every game, as an IC, I thought it was best to discourage him from doing so using a reasoned argument.
