Oh I agree with you there, my list of webcomics is just as long (in fact, I have 11 too). But I don't think all of them will necessarily be represented in the roles.

It seems to me that the people flipping out over Pie's vote seem to be relatively inexperienced. I think they are wrong for to be voting for Pie, but it's unclear that they are scummy.

However, I agree that the TSAGod post that Nemesis quoted is actively scummy.

TSAGod, I realized that the post that encouraged Nemesis and I to vote for you was obviously sarcastic. The thing is, even if it was sarcastic, it pinged my scum detector anyways (and not just because of my sig). Frankly, it was a bit of a fluff post; it seems like you were trying to appear to make a comment about Pie bandwagon without actually making a comment on the Pie bandwagon.

I'm not particular fond of the Akonas bandwagon. It's started by TSAGod, who I still think is scummy; bertrand jumped on while specifically making a comment about him worrying about being scummy, and PieIsGood posted a vote count which included a vote he never made. (Akonas is technically at four votes right now, since Pie never actually voted for him).

Akonas, there are other ways we can assess a claim also; for example we can look to see if there is some consistency between your name/role type/win conditions.

We can also assess how a person reacts to being asked to claim, and frankly, your "Woe is me, claims are useless" argument worries me.

If the scum knows that the roleblocker is aiming at the same person, scum can simply adjust who is doing the kill that night.

@Adele-I've been in at least two mini's with a cult in place of a normal mafia; however in both cases the cult had a limit to the total numbers of recruits and also had the option to nightkill people instead of recruiting.

Adele-I'm justing pointing out that we shouldn't ignore the possibility of a cult-I'd give it roughly a 25% of occuring. But (as Fuldu points out) by now the difference between a cult and a scum group is pretty small.

I'm a partial cop/roleblocker. Each night I must submit a persons name; I find out if they are male or female, and if they are female I roleblock them. (Flavor, I am irresistable to women who all want to sleep with me). My minor victory condition is to win with town, my major victory condition is to never target a female character (I'm trying to change my ways).

Yes I realize I should have asked earlier for everybody to claim male/female, but I was worried that that info would help scum. I targetted Fuldu night 1, and TSAGod night's 2 and 3. TSAGod isn't a woman; I obviously don't have results for the other nights.

I believe it should be obvious who I killed the last two nights and what my kill type is (I mean, who else in this set of comics is specifically known for stabbing people?). The other nights I was roleblocked by Pie.

I mean, I know I'm biased, but if he's part of a 3 person mafia group (with some godfather that's already Nemesis-investigated), it's useful to keep the SK around as a quasi-vig.

Also, I've already got my major victory; it's not like I need to kill Fighter a second time or something.

(In all honesty, lynching me yesterday would have been a good play for town. Lynching me today isn't nearly as useful.)

To be fair I'm in a really weird position. I've already got my major, it will take a lot of wrangling to get my minor (and it seems extremely unlikely that I will suceed) and so I my as well go for my mythical "third" victory condition, which is to aggravate everybody in order to get them to play better.

(If you wait long enough, you may see my complex "3+2i"th victory condition, which is to get the mod to get me a pastami on rye. Or my "surcunkle" victory condition, which is to start a nonsense contest in the thread.)

Curious. With Coron having multiple kill immunities and Adele potentially being night immune scum was much further from winning then I thought.

Town seems a touch over powered, but given that the scum can sacrifice their minor victory condition for major victory (which two of us did) that's not so bad.

Oh yeah I lied about being an SK. Duh. Frankly town was asking me to do that; when you have a cop who detects flavor, you use that to verify roles. Fuldu at the very least could have come out yesterday, be completely and totally confirmed as Dave and as the vig, and end my shenanigans. (I can understand Adele not wanting to claim, but she's the only person with a legitimate excuse.)

Good job blocking me Pie; your mistake was letting me stall and fake my way out of it. If you had just said directly "I am a roleblocker and I've role blocked Thok Night 1 and 2, Lynch him" I couldn't have done anything about it. Then I proceeded to get extremely lucky.

I also think Nemesis did a good job handling the cop role.

I think I suggested trying to kill Nemesis to Stevie Night 3, on the theory that it was likely the only winning line. If Stevie ever talked to his fellow scum players, I might even have been able to convince him of this. Also, if MM hadn't killed himself, we'd have killed Nemesis tonight.

(Did I mention that I absolutely hate having an Alpha, Beta, Gamma style mafia order, simply because it means that the choice of who is Alpha strongly affects the course of the game? But this isn't the place for that discussion.)
