@ Mole: Mostly because of this post.
Horrordude0215 wrote:I just did a reread, and right now I have a slight FOS on Richard. While I know I was encouraging people to answer his question (and I'm sure I'll draw fire for this), I find his question rather scummy, in hindsight. It seems like he wants to find out what would happen if a cop WERE to investigate him and get a guilty read.
However, there are two people that I'm now torn between: RichardGHP and Farside22. The reason being is that I can't decide whether Richard's question was actually scummy or not. If it was, then he clearly deserves a vote. However, I can easily see scum pouncing on a townie's question and making it out to be scummy, and I feel Farside might be doing just that.

I need to think about this for a moment. In the meantime,

*Other (new or otherwise) roles can be included. However, there should be no more than 1-2 of these, and they should be based around the usual game mechanics: Killing, Protecting, Investigating, Voting.
Are you saying that a Watcher in this game is unlikely? I've seen a normal game with a Tracker, a Supersaint, and a Scum Daytime Rolecop. A Watcher in a this game would not surprise me.

I totally agree with Riddick re: WRP. I don't see a reason for a person experienced with Mafia to say "Why would I lie." From a newbie, I might see that kind of move as town, but WRP has demonstrated that he's not a newbie, that he does know how to play this game. This looks incredibly scummy.

Unvote: Rikenslope. Vote: WRP_Beater.

WRP_Beater is a safer lynch than Richard anyway. If we lynch Richard and he's telling the truth about his alignment, we've lynched a town power-role on Day 1. If we lynch WRP_Beater and he's telling the truth (which I doubt at the moment), then we just lose a Vanilla Townie. I think we should save Richard for another day, let him get results if he's telling the truth.

I also haven't forgotten about Rikenslope, but seeing as he hasn't been around for awhile I want to put my vote somewhere more productive.

Ythan, what do you think about WRP_Beater?

If Rich is still scummy later on, we can always lynch him later. It's not as if we're clearing him of all suspicion for the entire game. But on Day 1, I'd much rather lynch someone who claimed VT than someone who claimed a power role.

The problem with stating this is it makes it almost impossible to lynch scum day 1.

I can see Ythan's point actually, and I don't think Richard has done a lot to redeem himself really. I'd like him to stop defending himself with stupid things (lol do u wanna lynch a pr) and do some scum-hunting.
There are exceptions, but I'm not sure yet that Richard has reached the scumminess level required for me to want to lynch him in spite of the power role. I like a WRP lynch better right now anyway.

Why are you assuming there's only three scum, Farside? Or do you only have three suspects?

@ Konowa: Right now, I think Ace is scum for active lurking and saying he wasn't caught up yet put a vote on Horrordude (the leading bandwagon). Richard is still high on my suspect list, but I'd rather not lynch him
today

Because I didn't think much of the tell itself. Crypto said it was a paraphrase, which to me reads "not exact copy" of the wincon. I was willing to assign some leniency to what Crypto's interpretation was.

I am definitely wanting to hear from Ace's replacement.

Unsight, are you doomed to suspect me in every game we play together? (That was a joke.)

I acknowledge that I haven't been doing a whole lot in this game. Hopefully as time goes on I can correct that.

- Bandwagon hopping
No argument here.

- Voting without explanation
People do that as town. Although as time goes by, when reasons exist and none are produced, then there's cause for concern.

- Defending crypto
From my point of view, he didn't look scummy, and I didn't consider Farside's tell to be damning. That's all I can really say.

- Defending horrordude in a half-arsed way
I didn't see any good reasons for all the Horrordude votes. I presented my case on Ace5993 (whose slot I still suspect), but I think you're putting a little too much responsibility on me if you think it was my responsibility to do everything I could to derail the Horror wagon. I'm not going to be that sure of someone's alignment on Day 1. Even if I were, it's still the assaulted person's responsibility to defend themselves, not mine.

- Posting very little content overall
No argument here. I'm attempting to make up for that.

- "Head not in game" post in very poor taste
Explain.
Farside22 wrote:@SK: Did you even look at your win condition to compare. That wasn't close to a paraphrase.
I did look at my win condition. It wasn't exactly the same, but then again isn't that what a paraphrase is?

For active lurking and placing a vote on a popular wagon that turned out to be a townie.

So? It was a popular bandwagon, and Ace specifically made a post to put a vote on Horrordude. Knowing now that Horror was town makes the move even more scummy.

@ Rikenslope: I didn't notice that it was a simulpost, so I thought you'd read the claim and voted for Richard anyway. I believe I outlined earlier that I prefer to not lynch claimed power roles on Day 1. At the same time, I still felt Richard was scummy. But since he claimed a power role, I was disinclined to want to lynch him. I would've preferred to keep him around and let him get results for us to judge by. Of course, I wasn't expecting the mafia to kill him, or things would've been different.

As for your vote on him, I thought it was done in spite of seeing the power role claim, and that made me suspicious of you. Now that I know it was simul, my suspicion of you has dropped considerably.

Because she said she wished for a vig. To me, it seems like that means she knows there already isn't a vig. Since we had two kills last night, that leaves three possible options: two scumteams, vigilante, or Serial Killer. Since Crypto flipped simple Mafia Goon, that rules out two scumteams. Now that Farside said that she wished for a vig, it seems to rule out that possibility as well. Hence, a Serial Killer, and I'm betting Farside's it.

Oh, so it's ok for you to post blatantly obvious breadcrumbs, but it's not okay for me to tell you to fess up or shut up?

What do you think about Farside being an SK?

Since when did I say your breadcrumbing was a scumtell? I just said it wasn't helping the town. I don't like how you're trying to spin this as rolefishing, considering you about as good as stated that you had a role.

Seriously, stop breadcrumbing.

As for Farside, why do you think it's merely an odd comment, and not an SK-slip?

Agree with Riddick on WRP, but I'm much more interested in Farside-SK right now.

Contradiction much?
Farside22 wrote:How do we know there are not 2 scum teams?
Did the mod post what roles could be out there?
Because Crypto flipped a simple mafia goon. If there had been two scumteams, there would have been something in the role name to distinguish which scumteam Crypto was on.

Feels like you're backpedaling here, Farside...

I fail to see the relevancy of what the article says to what I'm doing. I'm positive I've caught an SK, which is just as much an enemy to the town as the scum are, and I'm trying to eliminate said SK.

By the way I go to lunch around the same time every day. Between 12:40 or 1pm I start my lunch and I take an hour. This is a bit opportunist comment.
How am I supposed to know that? For that matter, how am I supposed to believe you?
Farside22 wrote:Finally my last question to SK.

How did I know that crypto had misinterpted what the town PM win condition is. Unless you don't know what the win condition is??
You know...that's actually a good point.

Unvote: Farside22.

No, I don't know if there is a vig. I thought I had an SK in you, but your stance on the Crypto PM paraphrasing issue is pretty conclusive. Now I don't know if it's a vig or an SK.

Posting to say that I'm extremely sleep-deprived and cranky from psych tests, so I'm only going to be handling my modding duties today.

Mod: I'm sorry, but I need to replace out. Reality is catching up with me, and I'm afraid I just don't have time to play any games. I'm really sorry about this!

Ugh, I'm never breadcrumbing again. It was the first time I tried it, and I made it waaaaay too obvious that I was a power role. :P

Gratz on the draw, scum/SK. Sorry I had to replace out, but real life got the better of me. Good job with the modding, Neto.
