I just did a reread, and right now I have a slight FOS on Richard. While I know I was encouraging people to answer his question (and I'm sure I'll draw fire for this), I find his question rather scummy, in hindsight. It seems like he wants to find out what would happen if a cop WERE to investigate him and get a guilty read.

However, there are two people that I'm now torn between: RichardGHP and Farside22. The reason being is that I can't decide whether Richard's question was actually scummy or not. If it was, then he clearly deserves a vote. However, I can easily see scum pouncing on a townie's question and making it out to be scummy, and I feel Farside might be doing just that.

I need to think about this for a moment. In the meantime,

*A normal game does not have to have any other roles other than Mafia and Townies. If it includes other roles, they should mostly be considered standard, such as Cop, Doctor, Vigilante, Roleblocker, Mason, Traitor, Serial Killer.
*Other (new or otherwise) roles can be included. However, there should be no more than 1-2 of these, and they should be based around the usual game mechanics: Killing, Protecting, Investigating, Voting.

Are you saying that a Watcher in this game is unlikely? I've seen a normal game with a Tracker, a Supersaint, and a Scum Daytime Rolecop. A Watcher in a this game would not surprise me.

I totally agree with Riddick re: WRP. I don't see a reason for a person experienced with Mafia to say "Why would I lie." From a newbie, I might see that kind of move as town, but WRP has demonstrated that he's not a newbie, that he does know how to play this game. This looks incredibly scummy.

WRP_Beater is a safer lynch than Richard anyway. If we lynch Richard and he's telling the truth about his alignment, we've lynched a town power-role on Day 1. If we lynch WRP_Beater and he's telling the truth (which I doubt at the moment), then we just lose a Vanilla Townie. I think we should save Richard for another day, let him get results if he's telling the truth.

I also haven't forgotten about Rikenslope, but seeing as he hasn't been around for awhile I want to put my vote somewhere more productive.

The problem with stating this is it makes it almost impossible to lynch scum day 1.

There are exceptions, but I'm not sure yet that Richard has reached the scumminess level required for me to want to lynch him in spite of the power role. I like a WRP lynch better right now anyway.

ISO is where you look at each player's posts by themselves. You do this by going down to the bottom of the page where there's a dropbar with player's names on it. Select the player whose posts you wish to read, and hit go.

Because I didn't think much of the tell itself. Crypto said it was a paraphrase, which to me reads "not exact copy" of the wincon. I was willing to assign some leniency to what Crypto's interpretation was.

I believe I outlined earlier that I prefer to not lynch claimed power roles on Day 1. At the same time, I still felt Richard was scummy. But since he claimed a power role, I was disinclined to want to lynch him. I would've preferred to keep him around and let him get results for us to judge by. Of course, I wasn't expecting the mafia to kill him, or things would've been different.

As for your vote on him, I thought it was done in spite of seeing the power role claim, and that made me suspicious of you. Now that I know it was simul, my suspicion of you has dropped considerably.
