@RichardGHP: Don't think that has ever happened to me as i haven't played in quite a while and only played 2 or 3 games before i stopped.
If it happened, depending on the situation and how the person played i would probably not announce it but would keep an extra careful eye on what they say incase they made a not to noticable slip so i could try and direct peoples attention to the scum.Musher-scum would not be clever enough to do something like this- Strife 220-

I don't like PR questions. I don't see how they serve a purpse to get reads on players.RichardGHP wrote:Alrighty. Semi-random question incoming.
@Everyone: If you are a cop with a guilty on Day 1, do you out yourself and risk getting NK'd or do you wait until you have minimum risk of being killed?
my question to everyone:
What is your view on policy lynching?
Do you think scum or town lurk more?
How active are you here at MS?Sarcasm is just a way of saying how stupid you think someone is but in a more polite way.-

Hello, I'm Cirno! I will answer your questions so our friendship can begin!
Policy lynches are bad, and more often than not suggested by scum!Side wrote:What is your view on policy lynching?
It depends on the player, but in general scum!Side wrote:Do you think scum or town lurk more?

@farside:
What is your view on policy lynching?
My view on lynching is that pressure should be applied when someone gives off scumtells, lynching shouldn't happen unless
A)you are wanting specific information off the flip which may help find scum
Or B) Pressure has been applied, the person has tried to defend themselves through a claim and failed to give a beleivable reply and as such you believe there is a comfortable chance of them being scum.
Do you think scum or town lurk more?
Often it seems the people least likely to lurk are vanilla townies, scum (unless quite experienced) either tend to be extremely active to try and act pro town, or lurk to try and give off less scum tells (neither of which work to well). Similar can be said with pro town rolls such as cops who keep fairly quiet to try and reduce the chance of scum picking up on them having extra information and as such NK'ing them.
As such it is probably inexperienced scum who lurk the most.

I have this window open most of the time while active in a game when i am online.Musher-scum would not be clever enough to do something like this- Strife 220-

With the exclusion of Lynch all liars, policy lynches are ok on Day 1 and that's it.farside22 wrote: What is your view on policy lynching?
I think that lurking is a nulltell unless the player is being attacked, in which case it becomes scummy.Do you think scum or town lurk more?
I post in the games I'm playing when a post is due.How active are you here at MS?-

Meh with it on Day 1, against it thereafter.Farside22 wrote:What is your view on policy lynching?
I've seen both scum and town lurk a lot. I think town does it more, personally.Farside22 wrote:Do you think scum or town lurk more?

I wouldn't immediately announce it. Instead, I would try to find reasons why that person is scummy and get other people suspicious of them. After day one, though, I would be fine with a claim.RichardGHP wrote:@Everyone: If you are a cop with a guilty on Day 1, do you out yourself and risk getting NK'd or do you wait until you have minimum risk of being killed?
I'm a bit on the fence about this one. I take it on a case-by-case basis. If there is a good level of active and experienced players that are good at spotting scum, then I'm for it... we can afford the loss if we have to. But if there's a relatively low level of activity, I don't see myself putting the town at risk.farside22 wrote:What is your view on policy lynching?
I can't really answer that. There is an enormous range of activity levels in both town and scum roles, from really aggressive to constant lurking. I think that if you're talking about Vanilla Townies vs. Mafia Goons, Mafia would tend to lurk more, but there's also the case that Town Power roles want to stay under the radar. Again, it's a case-by-case basis.farside22 wrote:Do you think scum or town lurk more?
Pretty active when I have a game running. Usually this is one of my open tabs and I check on it pretty often.farside22 wrote:How active are you here at MS?
However, I don't like that farside is avoiding the PR question... while it may not give us much to go on, anything is useful at this point.
Unvote and vote farside22The Clown is Town. The Clown also uses "they" pronouns. Don't be a dick about it?
I know it's weird given the username, but "horrorperson" just doesn't have the same ring to it.-

Oh, you filthy liar! Your words are about as true as Farside is young! But I forgive you since our join dates are so close (only about a month difference!) that we might as well be twins! Since we practically siblings, I went ahead and made this for you. Hope you enjoy!berni wrote:vote:cirno for having a username that I swear I saw on this site a looooong time ago.
You are pretty rude, mister! Asking a girl about her alt is the same as asking her about her age! Have some tact, please!crypto wrote:Cirno, whose alt are you?
Um.. and I think this is about the only time in the game where premature votes are acceptable.Everything you need to know about Cirno-

Problem is that your diction made it sound like a serious vote.horrordude0215 wrote:

Uhm, what? and also, I've been playing on this site since long before my joindate, under my old account. So thus, we are not in fact twins. and please don't call me berni, that was my Dad's nickname in HS...Cirno wrote:
