I screwed up the meaning of that apparently after looking at it on the Wiki. Chainsaw defense is defending your scum buddy by attacking the person who attacked them. But that's not really what I meant to say, it was more of just defending a buddy in general.-

You should read Clytons ISO.
I seem to default-scum-read Beast so I'm deferring trying to develop a read there for now.I do not think Beast is scummy and I'm far more concerned with Jiffy sheeping that bad logic.
IME Majiffy goes for noise elimination on day 1 regardless of game state and regardless of alignment. I don't townread or scumread him for that.
I'm not getting a scum vibe from him this game. I'm getting a town vibe so far, though it's hard to articulate why.
Also getting a town vibe from svenskt based on the timing of his vote. Would like to see more posts.-

I had a super negative reaction to xofelf's posting and I'd probably have our vote there if klick hadn't called xofelf town for a post that didn't ring town bells for me. The timing of your request looks a little odd given how things are shaping up with Mastin and the Iece slot. AP is one player who probably can nearly 100% read Mastin. And yet you've advanced a reason for copping Mastin that should apply to any game at any time. You make the request only after a fairly significant replace-in and because of the reaction to the replacement. I say again, explain plz.In post 569, Young and Beautiful wrote:

I think you need to explain some more. Right now it looks like you're contradicting yourself. In post 572, Young and Beautiful wrote:The fairly significant replace-in did not make an impression on me;I would say that it is irrelevant to my post.
Indeed, Mastin should be copped in any game, preferably earlier so she gets less time to pull strings as scum, and perpetual safety as town.
This is Day 1, and reasonably early in the game. I find nothing wrong with the timing of the post.

At best, I can only do 99%

Here are the problems I have with your posts.
- Directing hypothetical PRs always catches my attention, particularly from a player I don't know has a tendency to do that sort of thing. You're an anonymous hydra so this box is checked, and not with a fine point pen.
- If you are town, and scum think a hypothetical cop will take you up on your suggestion, then you've painted a target on Mastin if she's town.
- If you are scum, then this could be an opportunity to point town PR attention at someone who's not on your team, and possibily making your team's night action choices less complicated.
- Of the two players, in that interaction, Mastin looks a hell of a lot more town. And, the slot became far more dangerous if scum with the addition of AP. And you are drawing attention to the more town looking player in the interaction.
- There is still a huge question in my mind about why that interaction and that post would have been the one to spark the request.
IMO telling town PRs what to do when data is still quite thin is bad play if you're town, and I question why town-anybody would do it. There are times when giving town PRs advice makes sense. Right now doesn't feel even close to such a time.-

I've neither said nor implied that you did.In post 584, Young and Beautiful wrote:I'm not fishing for a PR claim, nor am I trying to get them to respond to me. Whatever any hypothetical PR wishes to do with their night action is entirely their responsibility.
Incentive which IMO is advantageous to scum if they take you up on it.At the very most, I can give them incentive... with a smooch :*
Right now, you have my interest considerably more than Mastin does.I don't want to get involved in mafia discussion. Mastin, however, may gladly accommodate you. She can discuss mafia theory with you as a player; regardless if she is town or scum
Which is something that even scum can probably say with conviction in this game.I'm only interested in finding scum.

The name is pretty Hegelian. I like it. You generate content in a large game the same way you generate content in a smaller game - you ask questions, poke at stuff, vote, etc.In post 610, shos wrote:six fucking hundred posts and no content yet. and this is acceptable, since this is a large, with lotsa people, and you can't even expect me to remember the names of the participants, let alone get reads. @geists(?lol what is that name) you can't just generate content by making a wish.
ok. Lately, I tend to have slow starts and get flack in large games. I don't care. I poke at stuff, develop reads and see how my impression of the game matches what others say. So, I can appreciate the gripe but it's still on you to do what you can to fix what you don't like about the game state.I've never played a large game start-to-end; only replaced into ones. ones that had 100 pages before I joined, lol.-
