If I thought it were blatantly fake, I wouldn't have asked about it. Even Spyrex seemed to have some doubts about.

I honestly don't see how we're getting anywhere with all of this random shoving. It appears to have hurt me now, because I haven't been pushing myself up to the number one slot, so I'm right near the bottom.

A third party or no party? Do you have any incentive to do anything? This doesn't look like a mafia type scum gambit, so this randomness doesn't bother me now.
I do, now I have a wincon.

Seriously guys, not having a wincon means I couldn't play the game, I don't see how that's given me grief. The only way I realised it before DGB officially is by spending a long time reading the rules (especially rule 7) and discovering that the opposite to what I expected is true, and that people who are the warden's pet are the good guys.

Shove:
UncertainKitten 11
Minineko 12
Ellibereth 10
Jahudo 2
SpyreX 8
Max 1
farside22 5
HackerHuck 6
Super Awesome Mega Pimp! 3
Cobalt 4
pwnman 7
Grimmy 9

Minneko appears to have disappeared, thus the least content therefore last.
UncertainKitten making only comments regarding set-up than scum hunting.
Ellibereth seems to be only changing two people and making the rest middle. I don't see what SpyreX has done, he's basically talked about the mechanic, not done anything.
Jahudo has been one if the few players actually analysing the game. That's earned him brownie points. Though he has been hypocritical and not explained his pushing. Considering however his last shoves were quite some time ago it doesn't shove him far down.
I've already spoken about SpyreX.
farside is an interesting read in ISO 14, she only has reads on two players? Really?
HackerHuch seems to be trying, regardless of if it's good.
SAMP, good posting, not all mechanic based, but what he's said on mechanic is not just common sense thinking ahead for future analysis.
pwnman has just posted shoves... so I'm leaving him mid-table.
Grimmy not really posted much, what he's said is that he's trying to keep himself alive.

P.S.

The spreadsheet includes the latest shoves as of that post. Also,
the above does not include any shoves from Cobalt or Max, as Max did not do the orders right, and I did not see one by Cobalt.
Again, correct me if Im wrong.

Everyone I didn't mention I don't have a read on as town or scum in any way. Grimmy is one person who acts a bit odd no matter his alignment. colbalt is a bit quiet. HH seems as lost as I do with the mechanic's. Eli is most of the time quiet in games accept the occasional game he gets chatty. kitty little to no read. Minineko is nonexistent.

Apparently, I missed an official shove from Mighty Max.

This has been fixed on the spreadsheet and it fits the current vote count.

Carry on.

Ok, so we've been shoving properly. I get the mechanics now. Kinda tired from having to do a semi reread in another game, so I'll see if I glean anything from this game later.

There is 2 games I saw you noncommental and 2 games I saw you as chatty. 1 game currently going you are not very chatty. 1 is going we are both dead not chatty. 2 game very chatty 1 you were town the other is currently ongoing.
In short you are hard to read for me as town because you can be chatty or closed mouth and I can't get much of a town or scum read on you because of it.

I think I just had a moment of clarity.

So is the shove order just the simple average of each person's most recent shoving action. I was just making this way more complicated than it is.

So the impact of a person shoving is not so much the order of their shove, but the relative change from their previous shove order. I imagine that most people focus on their top and bottom two or three, so getting a lot of mid-range rankings likely means that there will be no read. This is pretty interesting stuff, but I still don't think that all this random shoving is doing us any good.

Ellibereth and Kitten - why do you have SpyreX so high in your order?

Awww. <3

And yea I've been talking about the mechanics quite a bit for some odd reason.

Well, not all that odd considering the hulaballoo my comment made.

However, maybe I'm looking at a different game but the idea of people being SRS BUSINESS at this point as reflected in Max's post is disingenuous at best.

Shove:
UncertainKitten 7
Minineko 9
Ellibereth 8
Jahudo 1
SpyreX 6
Max 2
farside22 4
HackerHuck 10
Super Awesome Mega Pimp! 3
Cobalt 11
pwnman 12
Grimmy 5

Reasoning:
UncertainKitten7 - Has given a little bit of reads, but most posts are questions about mechanic.
Minineko 9 - Lurker is anti-town. Lurkers needs to post more.
Ellibereth 8 - Giving scumtells are more pro-town than giving town-tells. Looks a little suspicions.
Jahudo 1 - is me.
SpyreX 6 - Plenty of mechanics talk, some of it necessary to get everyone on same page and off subject, but not much scumhunting.
Max 2 - Already making some reads. Role PM confusion looks genuine, not gambit.
farside22 4 - Already making some reads. But she spends too much time talking about how random shoving is bad for averages, which is a non-issue. Not scummy though.
HackerHuck 10 - Is vocal against random shoves, but most of his shoves on post 96 have no reason. Kinda scummy.
Super Awesome Mega Pimp! 3 - Lurker and non-shover pressure looks okay for now. But I expect something both super and awesome.
Cobalt 11 - full of fluff. No content = scummy.
pwnman 12 - No explanation of 2nd shove after he explicitly said his 1st was random. Also for giving 2 people 2's. So not paying attention. Scummy.
Grimmy 5 - "me first" mentality looks anti-town, but not scummy at the moment. Besides, we're all giving ourselves 1's.

My comments were directed toward truly random shoving - no reasons at all. I was trying to place Cobalt at the end of the line and me at the beginning of the line based on my suspicions. Since I'm on the fence about most everyone else, I was just trying to "normalize" the order by inverting the current ratio. I'm most likely not going to have a specific reason for why I chose to locate each person in their particular slot.

This type of "voting" can make it easier for scum to manipulate positions, so I suggest that we evaluate where a person ends up in the average after someones shove, not so much where they put that person in line.

This doesn't feel right. Who does that invert shoving help? There can't be a lynch until the end of two weeks. If you are truly on the fence about everyone else, why are you using your own power to help a specific group of people?

Taken in context, you should have understood what I meant. I will have reasons for some of my votes, but not all of them.

How is using my power to help a specific group of people any different from anyone elses shoves? By bunching everyone in the middle I'm not sure about in the middle, it makes it easier to move someone further up or down if I decide whether they're scum or town.

I think you need to look at these shoves as a form of consensus lynching. Basically everyone is coming up with their ranked scum list and whomever is deemed scummiest by the most people should rank near the bottom. It's very clear when you only do that with maybe three or four potential scum, but when you look at the entire town, it can be easier to fall near the bottom even without being the "scummiest". Look at Goofball's excel sheet in post 104. Minineko doesn't even land in the bottom three, yet three people have her ranked at the very bottom of their lists. That's more 12s than anyone else has. Looking at my votes, if Grimmy just changes my rank from a 5 to an 8, I would then be at the bottom of the list. That's how scum can influence these things without being obvious.
