Shove DGB 100000000000000000000000

Totally obv scum.

Ok, fine, since this is an odd set up, and there's only room for one kitty:

UncertainKitten - 1
Minineko - 12
Ellibereth - 5
Jahudo - 3
SpyreX - 2
Max - 7
farside22 - 4
HackerHuck - 9
Super Awesome Mega Pimp! - 11
Cobalt - 10
pwnman - 8
Grimmy - 6

I'm going to admit this shoving mechanic is going to screw up my scumhunting something fierce. I have 12 repeatable data points per "voting" post to assess. I can't really calculate that much, so I can't do any real bandwagon analysis. I am basically completely lost unless people start TALKING and explaining their shoves. That said, my first shove was random.

Now, this KIND of makes sense but it lends credence to the fact that not all of these placements (sans a person voting themself) are random - or, like one would suspect, just going down a list.
Well, mine is random in the sense that I'm not assessing scumminess or towniness in my initial list. I mostly picked people I recognized for lower numbers= slots, names I didn't like a lot for higher number slots, and put myself in first and Minineko in twelfth to make a cat joke.

Changing shove order in light of new posts

UncertainKitten - 1
Minineko - 12
Ellibereth - 5
Jahudo - 3
SpyreX - 2
Max - 7
farside22 - 4
HackerHuck - 9
Super Awesome Mega Pimp! - 6
Cobalt - 11
pwnman - 8
Grimmy - 10

Not necessarily any rhyme or reason to other changes, I just wanted to promote SAMP for his post, and I don't think Ellibereth is so terrible as to be in 11th.

I thought the shoving was like domino's where you put yourself first and everyone just goes down the list in the number order they were in.
Maybe I misunderstood?

I know that if I'm at the bottom as we approach deadline, I'll be looking to make 12M posts with me at #1.
Except DGB said your shoves replace your previous shoves.

Ok, so we've been shoving properly. I get the mechanics now. Kinda tired from having to do a semi reread in another game, so I'll see if I glean anything from this game later.

I think uncertainkitty may be scum. I never saw her confused or quiet before like this as town.
Generally it only happens in larges. But strange enough mechanics screw me up as well. Unfortunately, other examples of this behavior only exist in ongoings. As soon as things show up, I'll be on them.

It still probably counts as a quote.

Oddly enough, there's nothing in the rules about quoting your PM. Maybe it's not fail?

Oh, it's certainly not proof he's town. I'm assuming DGB gave falseclaims to the scum. And "proving you are town" with a role PM quote does feel desperate.

He's still scummy as hell.
And he calls that "proof" he's town.
vote: Eli

Anyone who looked at pwnman's comment with his claim and calling it scum doesn't have the same PM me thinks.
I'll admit I was hoping that was what Elli was implying and probably shouldn't have so quickly pointing out the Role PM quotery, hoping Elli would be caught saying that wasn't the town PM or something. Then again, I also assume that the scum know what the town PM looks like, so I guess that wouldn't be easy to catch a scum in.

Especially since it appears pwnman has not been modkilled yet?
So assuming means pwnman is scum.
Which includes things my own PM stated?
That's a lot of assumption. Sure DGB said not to think much of the flavor text but that assumption seems scum motivated to me.
Well, I haven't shoved him to bottom yet since I figure he'll either be modkilled or we can paraphrase our PMs DAMNED close to what they actually say. Which would lead me to HAVE to assume DGB put in a failsafe.

So, it would be nice if Cobalt gave reasons for his shove, really.

Umu...what's this Max thing you are talking about? did I miss something?
Max wrote: Intriguing. Quoting rolepms are modkillable offences regardless of if it's in the rules. I mean seriously, just don't do it even if you can, it ruins the game.
Not necessarily. Then again, I do agree that if it's
not explicitly stated
you can quote, then you shouldn't quote your PMs. However, I'm running a game where quoting your role PM is allowed. It just won't do you much good for confirming people.

So, anyway, after all that, I'm not liable to be online for the rest of the day. My father is a totalitarian fucknut.

I'm going back to uncertain kitten who was flipping out when pwn quoted his pm there and saying she assumed scum was giving a safe claim.
Excuse me if I assumed someone who looks incredibly desperate to prove they are town was scum. You know, since scum
totally
don't want to actually seem town, ne?

I'd almost say that makes you scummy for ignoring that aspect.

Also, why two 11s, and why is Ellibereth, who came to the same conclusion, not number 10?

Your reasoning becomes less and less sensical given your shove order.

Ellibereth, you wanted to damn Hucker no matter WHAT he said. If pwn had flipped scum you'd accuse him of being a scumbuddy. Not sure I like that.
Once I get that cleared up, yea, I'm shoving the hacker to the back of the line.
Why? Not necessarily saying he's clean, I'm just curious what the case is.

Oh, obviously I'm back. Got off on good behavior :P.

Nono, where did you get that I would think Hacker was scum if pman was scum.
I said that Hacker is scum because pman is town.
Because that's the tone you conveyed. That you wanted to damn Hacker no matter WHAT pwnman flipped.

^^^ Here right?
Bleh, I don't see it. If pwnman flipped scum I would be thinking that his buddies would be bussing by then, not defending.
Whatevs.
I actually meant your post at the bottom of page 8. And why would they bus pwnman (if he were scum) and
specifically reveal they have falseclaims?

How would you know it was quoted? Then go and say that scum was given a safe claim after the fact?
Um...what are you even asking here? It was CLEARLY a role PM quote, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a REAL PM. I don't know about YOU, but if anyone quotes ANY PMs, real or false, in my games, and I'm not allowing role PM quoting, they get modkilled.

Hence, it was fail no matter what.

Further, either read a Tar game or read some of my previous games.
He and I give the scum falseclaims
. More specifically, we give them falseclaim PMs when role PM quoting is allowed. It was less than clear whether it was allowed or not as per the first post, since it wasn't explicitly mentioned (unless I missed it).

pwnman's desperation to confirm himself as town caused a lot of frownies in my eyes, which contributed to my assumption of falseclaims.

I really don't see why you think I'm scum for this line of logic.

Well, I'll admit that I made the same mistake I made when I first got my PM.

I saw Warden's Pet and assumed scum. There's actually a quite hilarious PM I sent to DGB complaining about "being a mafia traitor" when she then confirmed I was town.

Once again, I saw warden's pet and thought it was scum. Then I checked my own PM. Then I realized that the fail was the fact that pwn had quoted his role PM.

That said, I did think he was trying to confirm himself as town a little too much and was quoting a falseclaim.

OK! So, I've been neglecting most of my games except the one I modded and one that just ended due to all the annoying ass drama in that offsite game. This will change today for reals. Well, today and tomorrow. I think I'm in two minis currently and plan to devote at least a couple hours to one of them today, and if I still feel like I can handle it, devote some time to the other. Sorry about the lurky behavior and such. I'll figure out which game I wanna focus on shortly.

DGB, you will hate me for this but

I need to replace out of this game

I can't in good conscience keep playing a game that I'm basically not at all into. All I'd do is be a burden on my team. I apologize for this and for having to make you go to the trouble for finding a replacement, DGB. I'll help find one if that'll lower the sting a bit...
