Playing the Game:

- Post every 48 hours or prod. 3 prods and I look for a replacement. 24 hours after a prod and I start looking for a replacement.
- 2 week days, 48 hour nights.
- Majority votes leads to lynch. Majority to vote no lynch leads to no lynch. No majority by deadline leads to no lynch.
- Scum cannot perform kill and use power on the same night.
- Game uses Natural Action Resolution.

I’m not perfect. Rules are subject to change. I will likely err on the side of discussion rather than punishment.

I did laundry again today. It was raining, so I had to carry all of the laundry that I normally carry with two arms with one arm, and hold my umbrella in the other arm, shielding my clothes from the rain. Because even though you can get to most places under overhangs that have been built with the buildings, for SOME REASON that doesn't exist for the way between my building and the laundry room.

I'm convinced that laundry here is an experiment carried out by my university to see how much emotional torture a human spirit can take before snapping and physically attacking the innocent laundry appliances.

I would like to air my grievances with the drinking fountain in the laundry room that I only discovered recently.
It is a perfectly functioning drinking fountain. You press a button on the front and water comes out.

However.
There is also a sensor on the back of the drinking fountain (the part attached to the wall) that you can put your water bottle over and the water bottle is filled. And when I press the button and put my head down to receive the water, MY HEAD ACTIVATES THE SENSOR.

THIS CAUSES THE WATER TO FLOW OUT OF BOTH THE WATER BOTTLE FILLING STATION AND THE REGULAR FOUNTAIN.
THIS CAUSES THE FLOW OF WATER OUT OF THE FOUNTAIN TO BECOME TOO WEAK TO DRINK FROM.

THIS RENDERS THE DRINKING FOUNTAIN UNUSABLE WITHOUT AN INTERMEDIARY WATER RECEPTACLE.

Funny thing about laundry-- the last two times I did laundry, I managed to miss the single article of clothing that was in most need of washing.

The first time, I put my right glove in my backpack for some reason and a bunch of pencil shavings and such got on it. It got lost at the bottom of my laundry bag and I missed it.

The second time, I cut my knee really badly, and some of the blood dripped down to my sock. I washed the sock in the sink immediately but there was still a faint bloodstain. That was the article of clothing that got trapped at the bottom of my laundry bag.

I just think that it's amazing that two times in a row, the only article of clothing that I failed to wash was the one that I needed to wash the most. This is just further evidence that my laundry experiences are a torture experiment by whoever created the simulation that we call our universe.

GOOD THINGS:
Firstly, thank you all so much. Everyone here did great and made this game really great to mod.
I want to note that we had a total of

one replacement

, who replaced on D1. That's really awesome for a Large Theme. Like, really, really, really, REALLY awesome. So thank you all so much for being engaged and playing until the end of the game.

I know that it got a bit rough and heated at times, but I'm glad that we were overall nice to each other and refrained from getting toxic and rude. I'm really glad that you enjoyed the flavor and the game. I'm really glad that we all got to do fun things like Darkest Dungeon runs and wine nights and Nose Jammer and trap cards. I hope that I made this game fun for all of you as well, and that you enjoyed the setup and role flavor and felt like it was a positive experience.

Ultimately, I'm proud of the setup that I made. I think it ended up being reasonably balanced (there's an argument for town being a little weak but I genuinely don't think so). Every time Andrius said something to the tune of "doing something like this would be goodmodding, and SpyreX reviewed and he knows his design" I felt really proud. After all, the reviewers actually changed almost nothing about this setup! I hope that I can repeat this kind of care in future games.

Of course, thanks to Spy and Magna and Mykonian for helping me get this game up and running. Especially mykonian, who is the best backup mod ever.

THINGS TO CHANGE:
I hope that my first Large Theme didn't go too roughly. I compiled a list of things that I want to pay attention to in future games that I design and mod to continue improving as a moderator. Please let me know if there was anything you felt like I could have done better, or things that you would like me to keep doing.

1. Include links of day starts and ends in the OP
2. Advertise games that are Role Madness
3. Limit spectators to dead thread
4. Be clearer with power/flavor distinction in general
5. Certain role PM specifics: Clarification on compulsive modifiers (a failure to submit an action will result in random resolution?). Describe roles more accurately than "potential effect." Explicitly decide to tell people with vote threshold modifiers when LYLO/MYLO is.

Finally, regarding the Zach end of day-- I was worried that such a large number of people thinking the game was over would compromise the game. If anyone was wondering, mykonian and I did discuss potential mod action for that, but quickly decided against it (mykonian's exact words were "reaction test in extremis") and I think it ended up turning out alright.

After this, I'm running a 12 player Mini Theme. If any of y'all are interested, keep an eye out in the Game Announcements thread.
