Pretty much every band that got way more credit than they ever had any right to get. Genric Radio Rock trash. I can guarantee 0 points from me if you enter something that sounds like any of the above bands.
You realize wikipedia would only list the generic radio trash because there's no point in listing the ones people don't know? Needless to say, the band I'm going to submit is none of the above.
Edit:went to the wiki page and look for that list, I guess you just picked and choose ones that were generic radio rock? I- I don't even have words for that. You can't just selectively pick the generic radio rock bands out of a list then call the entire genre generic radio rock.. You've sort of stunned me with your irrationality...
lol if all the post-grunge sounds like generic radio rock then how does the rest of the post-grunge not
you've sort of stunned me with your irrationality
I just posted the ones I had heard, but I must of overlooked Foo Fighters, though I don't think they are particularly great either, but the best of what I have heard of the genre hands down.

She had me listen to some. It kind of sounds like Panic at the disco but not as bad and with a bit more screaming and people you've never heard of.
I hate genres so much.
What Kublai Khan said, but adding examples: Peg entered this a while back
Peg entered these guys but it needs re-entering(which I didn't know, sad i missed that contest)
Band Pac-Man entered just recently
The genre doesn't exactly of a history of placing well here anyway.

As far as post-grunge goes, the list that Panzer posted is pretty bad if not just for the fact that Foo Fighters isn't listed. Also, just because many of those bands are very similar (same genre though..) doesn't mean it is all bad. You can like some of it just because it sounds good. By that logic, everything that is very similar to many things is bad. So, anything that is popular is very likely to be bad, so I find that you are just trying to be hipster, which ironically is 'in'.
Most of us here like indie-rock, and some of us like Punk(I do). Also, wasn't trying to say it's bad because it is mainstream, just saying that the genre IS a mainstream one and I find all the bands I listed - which are all in the genre - to be bad. In fact, the only 2 on the wikipedia list that I would ever consider listening to for longer than 30 seconds are Foo Fighters and Alanis Morisette(arguably the two most popular acts on the list). I like a lot of bands that sound alike, the difference is, in my humble opinion, they aren't shit and the bands they sound like are equally unshit. Nickleback(which most of the bands I listed sound pretty similar to) are pretty widely considered to be shit. Exhibit A. My point was more that if the band I don't know sounds like anything on that list, than it is shit. The point wasn't if the band sounds like anything I have ever heard before it is shit. I simply took one of the things they had in common(that they are generic radio trash) and simply lumped it under that cause majority of the stuff I listed is, and if stuff that I didn't list(foo fighters). Hooray for a convultued arguement.
Edit: Gonna slightly modify my point. If it sounds like a bunch of stuff that I find to be shit, it has a good chance of being shit, but not 100% as previously stated. Insert Spinal Tap and Steel Panther here.
