Not on a regular basis. We made the switch to 1 IC because the biggest bottleneck for Newbie games is finding ICs and Mods to run those games. When either the SE or IC list gets excessively long I tend to add a 2nd player of that type into a game or two to shorten the list up, but it's not something I like to do with the IC list, ever, because if we suddenly get a Newbie rush then games get delayed waiting on ICs to fill in the gaps.

I will probably use 2 ICs in the next game or two considering that list is getting long, but after that I will be going back to 1 IC.

The SE spot is there more for people who are not raw Newbies than it is for people who are qualified to teach. Looking over your 3 games, you have enough experience on how the games are played on this site to qualify you as an SE, so that's where I'm putting you.

absolute newbies can't be in more than one newbie game.

but a regular newbie (completed a newbie game) can be in more than 1 newbie game.

Or you guys could read the rules in the first post

Absolute Newbie gets 1 game. After that, you get 1 new game and may replace into as many as you can handle. After 2 are done you are SE, and get as many as you can handle either new or replace.

Ah kk. I think I'll put a "Last Updated" section at the very beginning of the first post, that way the Mods and players can see the last time I've updated things (since I'm not sure the "last edited" autotext is working or not).

Actually, he IS obligated to. If you have 2 or more finished games on this site you MUST occupy an SE spot. You are no longer a Newbie, and therefore you don't get to occupy a Newbie spot.

The SE spot is NOT a teaching position. Only the ICs are teaching positions, hence they must be vetted to be an IC. The SE spot is there for people who understand how our games on this site work and want to play a Newbie game, for whatever reason, but don't want to be an IC (or don't qualify to be an IC).

The entire point of making the SE slot was to prevent games from starting too rapidly with the majority of the players being experienced players, not site Newbies. The Newbie games are here for the Newer player first and foremost. If we have a Newbie game with 2 Newbies, 1 IC, and the rest SEs it just uses up an IC and a Mod who could be used in a Newbie game with predominantly Newbie players. So in a sense it does stretch the number of ICs and Mods further, but I don't think it actually increases the IC or Mod signup rate (God I wish).
