I liked being able to look at the opinions of two different experienced players when I played in seven player newbies. Besides, if the IC is currently lynched day 1 or killed night 1, a large part of the game will be played without one. With 2 IC's, that risk is much lower.

Not on a regular basis. We made the switch to 1 IC because the biggest bottleneck for Newbie games is finding ICs and Mods to run those games. When either the SE or IC list gets excessively long I tend to add a 2nd player of that type into a game or two to shorten the list up, but it's not something I like to do with the IC list, ever, because if we suddenly get a Newbie rush then games get delayed waiting on ICs to fill in the gaps.
I will probably use 2 ICs in the next game or two considering that list is getting long, but after that I will be going back to 1 IC.

Hmm, let's try this again. First: I promise not to let this attempt end in the same way my first did(sorry mith for out chess game, sorry everyone in games I was in at the time). So no getting into more games than I can handle, and watch out for school assignments. Guess I can handle that(me being almost 2 years older than when I screwed up that one and actually knowing what pitfalls to avoid...). *prays to be forgiven*
Anyway, I don't really remember how many games I actually finished, and can't find out with search disabled, but I know for sure I completed one game and think I completed another, but seeing as everything's faded I'd like to call it 1 and do at least 1 game as a newbie. Call me SE if you must because I've probably
played
completed 2 games but I really don't think that's a good idea. anyway:
