I believe Someone for now, and I don't see anyone suspcious, any bandwagons to jump on, frankly, anything except for quibbling that isn't getting anyone anywhere. I'll wait a little bit to vote.

Whoops, forgot to add--

Leonidas, the only way you aren't getting lynched now (I just moved it to nine, PLEASE, NOBODY VOTE FOR HIM) is if you use your divine intervention, right here, right now. Else, it's pretty obvious of your scummyness.

It's incredibly dumb to show your hand on your first post, on the first post. As a cop, you want to throw suspicion off yourself, so you don't reveal your role until the second or third day (unless you have to). This is common strategy.

vote: mlaker

This day has gone far enough. I'm willing to sacrifice a townie kill to gain more information, both through mlaker's role (finding DP's sanity), the kills that happen through the night (which, believe it or not, help the town in looking at motives for the scum), and, maybe most importantly, the results of other cops who most likely exist. Yet another piece of the puzzle put together.

No, Someone, it's not. I think that if Dourgrim is suspicious of you, he has every right to suggest that you keep talking, so that he can see if his suspicions may be valid or not. That's not crap logic, that's playing the game shrewdly.

If you don't mind, let me address some of the issues with a clear mind, as I'm sure Dourgrim's is clogged with frustration now (as is yours
Someone wrote:
Dourgrim wrote:And you know what the most fun thing about all of this is? I wanted to hear more from you because you had (and still have) failed to allay my suspicions, and the only thing you do is rant and rave about my FoS.
This is because you haven't gave any reason to justify your FOS.
Wrong. A gut feeling is as good as any to FOS someone, in fact, it's what they are there for. In most people's opinions, the only time you need to "justify" yourself is a vote. For a precedent, look at
any
mafia game on this site. There is almost always an FOS because of a "gut feeling."
Someone wrote:
Dourgrim wrote:That'd be almost funny if it weren't such an obvious ploy to avoid attention. The reasons to be suspicious of you are well documented throughout the thread, and the only thing preventing people from voting for you and lynching you because of those reasons is the fact that no one really trusts DP's "Grandpa" claim or his sanity. I really don't care how often you post... I care what you have to say in those posts. So far all I see is smoke and mirrors.

WHERE DOES IT SAY THAT I AM GUILTY???
HOW DOES GRANDPA"S SAINITY HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH ME???
Let me restate what Dourgrim said here. He believes you to be suspicious because of issues where you've contradicted yourself and appeared to act shifty. For these specific issues (not all of which I see), ask Dourgrim. As to what Granpa's "sainity" has to do with you, he's referring to the fact that almost all discussion has revolved around him and people he's accused, leaving people not connected with that issue, namely, you, free from discussion. He believes that you are keeping the people distracted by bringing that issue up over and over again.

Rite's take on the whole matter: Dourgrim is paranoid, but he may or may not be on to something. Someone is, quite frankly, an inexperienced player, and I don't respect the way he plays the game. That is no indication, though, of his guilt or innocence, so I'll refrain from a vote at this time.

Rite

P.S.-- It's very impolite to scream on the internet (speak in all capital letters). Combined with typos, it doesn't give us a very good impression of you.

I'm not in league with Dourgrim, in fact, in my mind he's more suspicious than many other people in this game. But it makes me mad when people jump to conclusions or don't read peoples posts.

Coming out with innocents would necissitate a role claim. In a themed game like this, there are only a limited number of players who could be conceivably a cop... granted, we've already had our issues with the Priest and Old Booer, but I think it's going to get increasingly harder and harder to role-claim.

Not sure if I want it down now, but today or tomorrow will probably be time for forking our results over.

Alright, time for the truth to come out.

I'm Vizzini.

But don't lynch me! I'm a cop. Each night I use my genius logic/investigative abilities to investigate one person, and get the result of good or evil. Also, being Vizzini, and a braggart, I can't resist sharing it with other people. This is where many of you guys have been getting information from-- me. As for the fact that Vizzini was evil in the movie-- it was pointed out to me that Vizzini is a genius
for hire
... and our mod decided to hire me out to the town.

One small issue-- I did get all innocents... but I can't imagine Vizzini being naive. ::shrug::

List of investigations/who they were sent to:

Night One: Investigated DP (innocent), sent results to Dourgrim, mathcam, or mole

Night Two: Investigated CRiX(innocent), sent results to DP, Sugar, or Werebear

Night Three: Investigated jadesmar (innocent), sent results to DP, CRiX, and Dourgrim

Night Four: Investigated mathcam (innocent), sent results to DP, CRiX, and jadesmar.

Those who received my results should find that the nights synch up, proving my role claim.

It is of course worth noting that CRiX is now Fishbulb.

Whoo-hoo... I've been holding this in for a while with all this Vizzini bashing :P

Inconceivable!

I have no idea where Dourgrim's information about CRiX came from... as I've already noted, the information only goes to one of the three people I choose, in this case it was Sugar.

And as for voting for me... how the heck could I get away with this if I was scum? Don't you think whoever's has "really" been giving this information out would have come out by now? And how did I know what night the information was sent out?

Oh, and
FOS: Dourgrim and Fishbulb
. It's possible that Dourgrim made up that he got information about CriX/Fishbulb to cover for fellow scum.

The investigation was that mole is good.

Although I can see why y'all are suspicous of Vizzini, I wonder why you are so eager to lynch me. What good would a scum role be that reveals the innocence or guiltiness of a person to TOWNIES. Not one of my investigations has been wrong so far. At least give me the benefit of the doubt, huh?

I'm not sure what you guys want me to do to clear myself. All I can think to do is ask Talitha to investigate me tonight. If she gets guilty, then goodness, I'll DEMAND my lynch. But I'm helping the town out, here.

As for why results got sent to mole, it was an honest mistake on my part. I'd thought that I had already investigated him.

I'd urge y'all not to, but what's the point?

I'll take one for the team here, but I'm telling you that it would be much better to lynch someone tonight who's NOT claiming to be a cop, then investigate me.

I'll hold to my previous offer-- if I'm investigated to be scum, I'LL vote for myself.

vote: no lynch

I'd be investigated tonight, cleared, and we'd have a small pool of people to take out as potential scum. Then again, there's always the possibility of a Godfather who is innocent to investigation....
