They aren't evil, they are (in the us especially) just allowed to use lethal force, broadly protected legally when using massively disproportionate force, and trained that everyone else is out to kill them.
FTR this is what is meant by the phrase All Cops Are Bastards. It's not a moral judgement on their soul.

When my grandma died a couple years ago in our house while I was taking care of her, a cop was the only one who cared enough to comfort me after she died. There are many like me who never had a shoulder to cry on but when I needed it most, it was a police officer there. There are people who just want to feel safe, and know there's people watching out for them.
Don't be a piece of shit and assume they're all bad.

Nobody has suggested that ONLY black people have ever been lynched. They are saying that the term lynching has been so irreversibly linked to the systematic murder of black people in the United States that it has overtaken in priority any mundane usage of the term.
There are mundane uses of the Swastika and they extend back far further than the Nazi regime, but you'll have a tough argument in suggesting we should allow swastika avatar even if they aren't the Nazi kind.
