Day dawns and the council members all meet up in the dining hall. Or not all of them. Nightson doesn’t come down from his night quarter. A messenger comes and report him found dead. With grim faces the council sits down to their draconian task to lynch one of their members today.

Unfortunatelly sekinj's vote isn't his. Even though the town has pinpointed the werewolves, they control enough votes to block any lynch. They can then sit back and relax to snap into action each night decimating the town in the long run without being stopped

: Cook (Alchemist)
Name
: Archibald “Fume” Copperlily (male)
Power
: You’ve got a few potions (one shot-abilities). You can either:
1. Slip the potion in a person’s dinner by PMing me during the night who you want to give the potion. It then takes effect the coming day.
2. Give it to a person during day (by writing “Give potion #X to player Y” in thread. It then takes effect as soon as that player writes “Drink potion #X” in thread)
• Potion #1: Truth potion. The targeted player gets the information (from me) that he must answer the next question posed to him in thread truthfully. The question must be in the format “@ Player X: xxxxxxx ?”.
• Potion #2: Love potion. From now on that person is in love with the first one who talks to him (by addressing that person with either player name or game name), meaning when the addresser dies the lover commits suicide and dies too. The recipient of the potion will get some kind of information that he is in love (you don’t know the exact info I’ll give), but will not know who’s the target of his affection.
• Potion #3: Poison. The targeted player will get the information from the mod that he is not feeling very well (and that it must’ve been something he ate or drank) and will die from poisoning soon (though he won’t know anything about the death part).
Knowledge
: On the Baron’s order you’ve up till now been quite secretive of your being an alchemist. Your cover story has been that you are his cook.
Night quarter
: The village inn.
Alignment
: Pro town.
Win condition
: You win when all the threats against the baron are eliminated. You immediately lose if the emissary is nightkilled.
Flavour
:
You and the Baron goes back a long way, and you consider him being a great man and leader. Even though your “weak“ position, status wise, as a cook you know that each vote carries equal weight and the threat against the baron has to be found out and eliminated.

• It is possible for a player to hand on a received potion to someone else instead of drinking it.

Example: 11 players left alive (including you) means sending in a list of 6 players and I’ll tell you if there is at least one werewolf on the list or not.
Knowledge
: There is something with the cook that you don’t like. You can’t really put your finger on what it is, but it irks you.

  • Gremwell spies on: Gimbo, thinktank, ohmygodmylife, rage, nightson. Raverblood (gets to know someone did a group investigation)
  • Rage sends letter to Gimbo/sekinj:
    Dear sir/madam, On behalf of the honourable Baron himself, you are required to acknowledge the existence of the Scribe when the time comes. Failure to do so will result in your death within 48 game hours (2 days to be precise) of the Scribe's lynch. You have been chosen to be warned in advance. Do not disregard this warning.

  • Mariyta protects Singing Librarian
  • Nightson investigate: 1 Gremwell, 2 Mariyta, 3 raverblood, 4 Gimbo, 5 Rage. 6 Nightson
  • Singing Librarian kills Nightson.

    There is just one thing that the Scribe asks in return, which will be strongly enforced, and that is to keep this letter secret until the time is right. You must acknowledge the Scribe when and if she claims, and if you do not, then you will be eliminated from the game within 2 Days.

    Rage is the Scribe.

    Finally, Mariyta, Honor/Honour means Emissary? If so, start the first sentence of your first Day post with either the letter "E" or "M". If not, start however you'd like.

Comments - allowing me to have the one shot command ability along with a scum-mate with a vote steal was way too powerful. We needed one night kill and one mislynch to take control of the voting completely. Town could have been end-gamed on day 2.

I'd be interested to hear people's thought about another use of the one-shot command and would love to see a list of night actions.

All I did was move people around on n3.
Here's my anwers for qwints:
1. No kill was sent in
2. It probably should have been stolen, but I might have screwed up there.
3. TSN didn't send in a vote stealing PM.
4. I felt the game was pretty much over and done with and the outcome inevitably to the mafia's advantage (since they could steal votes and get the majority once they had night killed someone the coming night). I felt that such a scenario would only make the townies feel cheated if the coming days would've been impossible for them to actually lynch scum. I might have ended the game a bit prematurely though (possibly Cass's/ Knight of Cydonia's bulletproof, could have hindered that if scum aimed for him/her), and I'm sorry if anyone feels that way.

All in all I am pretty satisfied with the game, though I would've liked to see the alchemist's potions in the game. :) I had decided from the beginning that the vote counts would look like they did even if someone's vote was bought, and it might have made that power even more powerful.

As you all see, a lot of the powers grew stronger through the game: the vote stealing (I agree that it became to powerful in the end, could've been limited to one use every third night or so), beast master's investigation and the spy's reports.

Thank you all for a good game and a special thanks to Lawrencelot who helped me out with ruling questions all though the game (all remaining errors are of my doing, not his).
