Okay, for the newer guys out there, I just want to make one thing clear:

Both mafia groups can daytalk. This gives each group an
infinitely
greater ability to coordinate their actions during the day and can lead to some insane strategies. Look up the recently-ended Mini 975 if you want an example of this. In other words: be extra, extra vigilant.

With that out of the way, let's get down to business...

I'm just glad that this will be somewhat mitigated by the fact that only 2 people can coordinate with each other, so you'll never get all 4 scum wagoning the same person intentionally.

On Jack's name changing:

Originally, I made a point against him - and I still think what he said is a scumtell. He implicitly replied with the rather poor defense "shouldn't you also suspect Andrius?" by changing the name in my post. I pointed out that Andrius hadn't done the same thing, and now he's trying to make a joke out of it.

@ Jack: I'm completely confused. This isn't a post restriction game. /confused

@ Fish: I can call you Fish right? Yeah, I definitely think its scummy, though he could just be screwing with us just because.

There has been some confusion over how an e-bay bidding scheme works, so let me illustrate with an example:

Ability MB: $20
Person A: Bids up to $50
Current bid becomes: $20 and the 24 hour clock begins
Person B: Bids up to $40
Current bid becomes: $41 to Person A
Person C: Bids up to $100
Current bid becomes: $51 to Person C
24 hours runs out, the ability is sold for $51 to Person C.

---

Next, there will be some incentive to wait to the last minute to bid. I discourage that as current bids may well not be up-to-date as I am but a volunteer and cannot update 30 times a day. Instead, enter your highest price you're willing to pay.

you MAY reduce your highest bid so long as it is higher than the current bid. But again, keep in mind that current bids may not be up-to-date and you may not be allowed, so don't count on it too much.

MB: 10 CB: 0 Deadline:
Current bids may not be up-to-date. Current Bids and Deadlines will only be kept up-to-date by edit until the next vote count is posted.

Please be patient with me. This game requires an absurd amount of organization (vote counts, bids, loans, actions, etc.).

AS A RULE, IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION PM FROM ME (e.g. "got it") BUT I HAVE READ IT, YOU MAY PM ME AGAIN.
I promise I won't bite, but there is about a zero percent chance I will not at some point miss a PM or two.

I have one question. How the heck does anyone in this game make money. What I see is town makes $20. every game day but spends money to get abilities. You can get a loan but that just puts you in debt. When someone is about to be lynched you spend 100 minimum. From what I can tell crunching the numbers unless you spend absolutely nothing trying to make 1000 by the end of the game is close to impossible.

It might well be impossible. But I'd rather impossible than easy in the case of an instant win condition that throws off the balance of the game.

To start, there is exactly $1300 in the game. Depending on how much debt people go into, this number may go down (with debt) or up (with wages).

I may consider reducing the amount an estate goes for, but this brings up the obvious problem of scum having an easier way of determining what is in a scum's estate. Stay tuned.

The Game Is Now On

A question arose: You do not get a wage on this first day. So town currently has 100 dollars each, and mafia has 125.

Wait, guys.

Does Zor seriously mean that we can only cast one vote per DP?

I always thought "no unvoting" was that it is unnecesary to unvote.
I thought it went like this:
Vote: XXX
*no unvote*
Vote: YYY.

@ Zoraster: So, do we really only get one vote per DP?

No. You can change your vote as often as you want. You just can't unvote in the sense of going back to "not voting."

Ok. Thought so.

RVS lives! :D

Hmm... Nobody Special has a plain avatar, NavyCherub's is Brock (or is it?) and farside doesn't have one. Tough choice.

Vote: Nobody Special
Because your avatar is pure purple, in clear imitation of Zoraster. And since you're nobody special, no one will miss you (besides any scum buddies you may or may not have). :D
