To adapt from something rb once said:
MariaR's entire scumgame is just to act cutesy so that all the men in the game don't wanna lynch her becoz it hurts their chances of having teh sexes chat with her, ergo she's scum now because AAAAHH EMOTION-NAL P-POSTING PLZ D-DONT HURT MEEE
Also that quick pairing with probscum Shadow isn't good

I don't like her push on shadow. I know that sounds weird because a lot of people are but I don't like her push on shadow
I'd like to see more from them first.
Jester is normally pretty easy to read, of course, this doesn't really help with the Mini situation.
I can't go into detail, but I can see a reason of Mini over explaining to a degree.
I didn't want to dance with Dunn because I tr him and I think it would've been better if he danced with a dif lady as all ladies must be picked and if Dunn got a scum lady I trust in him to be able to figure out if he got paired with a scum lady or a town lady where I already wanted to dance with shadow as I'm bias and since he was like "I don't wanna dance with anyone else" I felt if I didn't pick him and he was town I would've felt like an ass
What
If you wanted to dance with Shadow that badly why'd you take so long to accept?

My main thing I'm sring Shadow for is the fact he jumped on Cerb saying "Cerb is scummy for what Jester said!" and then went "How will it feel to be eliminated in the intermission, Cerb" which contradicts his earlier statement on Cerb's alignment.

In post 1152, Kagami wrote:Maybe just lynching shadow is correct, regardless.

Parama is not wrong that it's very strange to say "Why are you doing something that will just get you NKed?" to someone you're scumreading.

The town-shadow explanation there is that he finds Cerb's behavior odd and was poking at oddities without really thinking through the implications of them, which weighs against the probability that scum-shadow was poking at him in an effort to appear townish and did so in a very clumsy way. I don't think it's quite the smoking gun Parama is making it out to be, but meh.

I still don't like jester's early play and I don't have any terribly fuzzy feeling about MDS either. I think scum-MDS would probably have held out for just a bit, but if there was already a pre-established pairing plan, that may have itself looked suspicious. Jester's "In fact I know you do, therefore my question should be: are you brave enough?" bit makes a show of saying "I'm totes going to be sorting you (because I am town)," which is counterproductive to any real attempt to establish a read. I'm treating 17 as a joke, but I find it strange that no one jumped on that. It's exactly the sort of low-hanging-fruit comment that usually attracts a scumread nibble. I'm also concerned that pretty much everyone had jester/mds as some level of scumread, but they didn't get any real attention at dance-start.

tl;dr: down for lynching either of those pairs, somewhat prefer jester. Ended up with much more text than I'd like.
Yeah, I can understand where a town might say something like that, but the inconsistency combined with the copycatting is what makes me think it's scum formed logic.

Now that I'm looking at this point from a town perspective, I think I can articulate better what is wrong with it.
Scum may know everyone's alignment, but they need to know what the popular opinion is and what not, so they still need to read. What you can do is see who says "I don't wanna read" and yet demonstrates an understanding of in-game events. This likely means they are getting told what is going on in daychat.
I know not all games have daychat, but specifically for this setup, I feel that point is relevant.

wouldn't cry over seeing him lynched but eyes on the prize, shadow's gotta flip red for me first
No actually what Vedith is saying makes sense
MariaR was very averse to pairing with Dunnstral. Me too, but the point is it feels like she was making a show of it.
This is fucking scum parroting something someone else said
I'm axknowledging the fact you didn't want to pair with me when that devalues my case

@Parama:
Sorry about being stupid earlier. I wasn't going to let Jester get away with it for long, I just really really wanted to play with him for a while. I actually think he's town now though. He made some really good posts in our PT and supported my decision to quit the dance if I thought it was the right thing to do.

@Dunn:
Have you heard back from Kagami yet?
New developments on the Shadow front:
He blew me off when I asked for 2 scumreads from each group and said he couldn't think of anyone who would be scum with me. I feel that indicates A) he's not actually trying to scumhunt and B) he doesn't want to give reads for some reason, likely to avoid giving away his buddies
MariaR claims Shadow has been extremely nice to her in the PT, which makes me think Shadow is scum trying to pocket MariaR

I've used this tunneling tactic as scum a LOT. You don't have to do anything other than scream that player to be lynched and its good way to contribute without actually contributing. So I'm unsure.
I don't think town is being misled by scum into lynching me. I think scum are pretty happy sitting back either staying away from my wagon or have just got on it .
Question: why do you say this and think I'm scum

No I'd actually be more inclined to lynch them if you flip SCUM based on my current reads.

NO MENTION of what happens upon what Shadow flips, just "if MariaR is town I'm lynching this pair". Since I read Shadow as scum and MariaR as town due to PT interactions claimed by Maria, this post is very fishy to me.

The most condemning thing for Shadow IMO is his unwillingness to give more reads than 1 or 2. It demonstrates he's in a deathtunnel, and is likely trying to avoid giving reads on his buddies. I know Shadow is good at finding scum as town so he should be able to give some other reads.

I have not thought about that at all. if you want me to comment on this, you'll need to walk me through what your argument here is.

ftr, I have HS as town.
First is the fact I SR Shadow because his method of play doesn't feel like he is town, especially his aversion to giving solid reads. I see some, but it's scattered and hard to analyze.
Then there's the fact Maria states Shadow has been really nice and apologetic in the PT. Scum don't need to do this with scumbuddies so I think Maria is town
Then there's HS's "if Maria flips town GE/Vedith should go". She only mentions Maria's alignment there, and it makes me think she's setting my pair up to take the fall after a Shadow + Maria flip
So if both Shadow and HS flip scum, there should be no doubt my pair is town based on how they set us up.

2. ??? Who? And if so why don't you have a stronger scumread on them if it's one of your strong scumtells? Esp because you just pointed out to me you think Maria is town and Shadow is scum (so I'm gonna guess you have no more ~strong~ reads).

Pedit: Ugh this is what I mean they felt so detached from reality like they didn't look like you believed in them as much as them saying "hey guys look I have these ~tools~ that I am using to catch ~scum~".

If we both are scum how can hell can you think Maria is telling the truth about what is happening in our PT. Maria can say anything she wants in that case.

Conclusion - scum mindset, gamma scum
As I said, better lies to tell. What she said before implied you weren't scum together, I decided that from how she described it it sounded like pocketing
It's the mindset of "What is Shadow trying to accomplish? He's likely trying to make her like him so she'll defend him."

How long has this been going on? When I initial asked him for scumreads, he blew me off. As town, I'd think he'd have the ability to realize it wasn't just a thing for me, it was so everyone could get a grasp of his thought process

Someone ekse addressed the fact Shadow is good at catching scum as town, so I decide to ask him for scumreads because while I did have a strong scumread on him I wanted to give him an opportunity to prove he was town. Instead he just gets upset at me.

Already done. To which you said. Meh its scattered and impossible to understand or something like that. So it doesn't matter what I do you've just decided to SR me to save your ass.
I asked you "2 scumreads in the gentlemen and ladies". I wanted CONCISION.

Let me tell you something. Maria already likes me.
The fact that you didn't consider what I said earlier makes you likely scum because you are looking for any reason town read people. What exactly is point of this town read anyway? To show that you are "doing something".
You've got to make her keep liking you though. I got flack from my partner for neglecting the PT. I'm fairly certain she would have done the same.
@MariaR: what is the actual substance of the scumhunting in your PT?

I have one game where he was scum, dude had some opportunistic votes and I IDd him as a mafia, but got lynched D1 and the little twerp got everyone to ignore my points on him.

I asked Vedith why he didn't hold out for Shadow and he said Parama had a point. Still doesn't fully explain him picking me.

My list I promised
Cerberus v666 - Nahdia: team is literally conftown, never lynch
Gamma Emerald - Vedith: really confident in Vedith being town, and of course I am. Only team that surpasses us is of course Nahdia's
The_Jester - MiniDeathStar: This pair feels like that *extra* scumread people have to round uot their list. Lots of shade has been thrown here, specifically at TheJester. Thinking it's town.
mhsmith0 - pieguyn: This one is just a flat null. Neither has really left a lasting impression on me yet.
Ser Arthur Dayne - inspectorscout: kinda the "blind spot scum" pair. SAD is a nullscum, IS is a townlean
Dunnstral - Kagami: Kegami's flip-flopping is not good at all. Dunn is a townread though.
Human Sequencer - Parama: If Shadow isn't happening, this is DEFINITELY my next pick. If HS flips scum, Shadow is likely scum, if Parama flips scum, Shadow is probably town. Very informarionally rich.
Shadow_step - MariaR: I've pretty much hashed out all of my thoughts here. You'd have to have REALLY skimmed to have not seen it.

Here's my idea.

Me and Gamma leave, if both town lynch Maria / Shadow. If Gamma flips scum, then I feel less confident on Maria/Shadow scum as there would be no reason for Gamma to also push that pair.
From there, we can actually work to Dunn's reads imo.

@MDS
Kagami's flip-flopping may be indicative of me/Vedith/Maria/Shadow being Town
If so I'd also expect one of HS/Parama to be scum
I may just need HS/Parama to flip because so many scenarios involve scum in that pair

If you are town I will absolutely use your reads post-flip.
I suggest that because I don't want to be basing everything on assumptions, which is what I'm doing when I analyze things based on your pair.
