Ok comrade. So you're expecting the town to sit down, and be led around by you because of your golden tickets. This defies all logic. If you were scum with a signup role, what would you say? The exactly same thing. Your promiss means nothing.

I agree with this point completely. Thyroid's explaination of:

Doesn't necessarily tell us why we should trust him. That type of assertions are alright coming from a player who is confirmed... but not really good coming from Thyroid here. You should, ideally convince the town to buy those tickets not by telling them "trust me", but by saying exactly what they do. If those tickets do hurt scum, then all you have to do is get yourself investigated on N1 by a cop, and then, if you are town, ask everyone to buy the tickets. The scum will, obviously try not to buy them, which is how they can be caught.

But first, we need to know what your tickets do.

FaerieLord is right. Whether intentional or not, you're comment did come across as an attempt to give Nocmen a get-out-of-jail-free card. Of course, this only really matters if Nocmen were to be scum, but i felt it should be noted in case of that eventuality.

Also, I have a question. Is the effect that is helpful to the town something that can be built to over time, or does it have to be acheived on one single day (can the tickets be purchased over time by different people to help the town or for the effect to be beneficial do a certain number of people have to buy them all the same day)

Shanba, I agree about Nocmen wagon. I have myself made mistakes while implementing PRs in a game and, I don't see why one can't make mistake if a PR is real if you can make one while implementing a faked PR. I don't expect a mod to modkill if you make one or two PR related mistakes while following PR the rest of the day.

This doesn't mean Nocman definitely has a PR, but that the wagon against him is by and large baseless and terrible, especially as he could potentially be an investigative role.

Yes. I really have no control over the content of the fake death. It was whatever Shanba gave for faking his own death. It was supposed to confirm (in my eyes) whether Shanba really had the power to fake deaths as he claimed he did.

He gets to post as many non-meep posts as the number of times his name has been said by someone else in the game. Interestingly enough, I was one of the people who had a correct "town" read on ZONEACE since mid-day 1 in that game, and I don't have the same confidence in him this game. He isn't ballistic enough here, which is one of the hallmarks of ZONEACE-town. I am not sure he is town at all in this game, so I have my eye on him.

1) I have been copying Twomz onto himself for the past 2 nights, but I haven't received any investigation result from it.

2) Night one, I copied Nocmen on JDodge, and I did not receive any investigation result on JDodge either.

The fact that both of the above people have claimed investigation roles puzzles me a little.

I copied Nocmen onto JDodge on N1 because there was some talk about Nocmen being a cop (someone mentioned this D1). After receiving no investigation result, I asked Nocmen on D2 (I think in my first post on D2) what his investigation result was. I didn't receive any reply from him at that time, and I assumed he wasn't a cop. Then, he comes out and claims cop on D4.

I don't think mafia has a roleblocker. Had Mafia had a RB, they would have blocked me and killed Twomz (or vice versa). The fact that they don't do this points out that a mafia RB does not exist.

So, does anyone want to claim a RB now and clarify whether they blocked Nocmen on N1?

I have been protecting Twomz for the past 2 nights, so yes from my side.

BBM lurking isn't exactly a scum tell. I realized this the hard way when I vigged him in Mafia 70 - Traditional Mafia for behaving exactly the same way he did in this game, and he turned up Pro Town Mason.

I always support mass claim. I think most of us have claimed at least some part of our roles, so it would be nice if the remaining people claim at least something (not necessarily full claim) which can be verified.

I just realized that Simenon blocked all scum actions yesterday... and Shanba was not raised.

Doesn't it disturb you that in post 2475 Armlx seemingly assumes ZONEACE is town and then in post 2482 he announces he is the second on his scum list? If ZONEACE is a neutral, he needs to be killed sometime before the end of the game. He is not worth wasting a lynch on. Since we know we have an empty vig spot, we might as well do it now then, say, later, when we won't be in such a good position.

However, vigging a neutral is really a no-lose situation. If he's neutral, great, you get the above position. If he's scum, you vig a scum.

Any thing apart from that (not sure whether Nocmen would show up, because that may not count as targetting) means we either have a redirector/blocker or you are making it up. (and let's face it, Fonz was town. There can be no conspiracy theory about not killing a town, unless it is someone like Nocmen)

In a game like this where mafia may not necessarily hit confirmed innocents, cultivating them is a good strategy for cults.

Actually, now that you mention it, one possible setup is a split cult -- Professor Goop is not cult, but anyone he "protects" becomes cult, whereas the "goop mind" is the cult leader, and knows (and can tell new cultists) about armlx being the unwitting recruiter. That would explain the goop->gm connection and the goop->possible cult connection.

I don't see this. And, we'd have a lot more cultists by now with Armlx choosing 3 targets each night. (and, I haven't been recruited yet into the cult for starters, and he sure did target me at some point)

Actually, they weren't not fooled by that. They were just scared like shit by a claim like that not knowing what the role would do to you if it did exist and they signed up for the faire.

The great thing about the faire claim was, that if used early on in the game, it was not all that determinant to the town if it were a scum role, but could do a hell lot of damage to the scum if it were a town role. And it would be useless as a cult role of course.
