Your logic is flawed because it works in the inverse; just because roles can stay the same, that does not mean that they HAVE to.

I'm just saying that you coming out on day one all secretly... for an ability that you'd want to save for later (your ability best used when mafiaso's would pop a one time use ability, or to protect someone who has claimed later on from some mafia nastiness (like RBing the doc)).

Thyroid's ability, as stated, was clearly best used on night 1 -- that gives the town an immeasurable advantage, avoids the possiblity of him getting killed off early, gives town investigative abilities a free ride for a night, etc. Similarly, I could easily see reasons why a reveal would be harmful (though I'd have revealed after the pushback were I him and were there nothing more to the role) -- it would let scum stay home rather than risking a tracker when there was nothing to gain.

If the majority buys the tickets, all scum actions will be blocked the next night. I don't know if this includes the mafiakill.

"I don't know if this includes the mafiakill" is either a code for "I'm hedging and faking my role" or "it says 'scum actions' and I haven't asked the mod". If the latter, please do -- the role as described is much less potent if it doesn't block the mafia kill, and mafia kills are definitely actions. I'm guessing the latter, fwiw (or I woudln't have bought a ticket).

SSF, what exactly does the role do?

Once the ability is used, any abilities which are normally used at night become day abilities, and vice versa.

This change is reversed either when the player chooses to, or that player dies.

The change can not be repeated once undone.

The initial switch can happen at night, but the undoing can occur at any point after this, Day or Night.

I'm assuming that's what do you want to do then. And the answer is discuss something, anything really. Any posting is better than no posting. And no, I don't really trust thyroids ability, I'm just more wary of Jdodge's claim and would rather lynch him.

And I've already done that. If I had to do a scum list it would be JDodge then Thyroid for reasons I've already stated more than once.
