It's a pretty weird reason for Lickety to town read me. Out of context, it looks like he's reaching for this townread on me in attempt to salvage the game for him.

First, this caught my eye:

Mario is the only person scumreading smiffle, as far as I can tell. But you don't bother to interact with Mario at all, you just say you have a townread on his scumread. Given that you have no other townreads, I'm not sure what the point of making that comment is, other than to sound town, possibly buddying smiffle.

Then, we have this:

I'm not really sure what to think about LQ and GL. I'm troubled by GL's defending of LQ in his 387, even though GL isn't saying LQ is town, he also isn't saying he is scum, but it still is a fairly defensive post overall regarding LQ and that doesn't work with his prior attitude towards him (which was rather critical, as if he was scumreading LQ)

This is summary, not analysis. Like I read this, and I still have no idea what you think this means about my alignment.

I'll give you some credit in that you provide analysis a second later:

LQ looks scummy to me, but I don't think the 2 are scum together (I believe I read this somewhere already as well, don't remember who said it, Davsto?) Is it possible we're in a multiball?

So then you're choosing to drift towards the popular wagon being scum. That's a safe position to take. And as a kicker you've hedged here in multiple ways, so that if we lynch LQ, regardless of what he flips, you've positioned yourself nicely to start pushing on me next.

xtoxm changing his mind on multiball after smiffle's post makes me feel uncomfortable.

Why bring this up if you're not gonna go anywhere with it? Is talking about multiball in this context really alignment indicative?

Overall, your ISO is just throwing out these vague statements where you don't push to develop them and you don't take any controversial stances. It's a faint scumlean, which is why I didn't immediately sheep Xtomx and jump onto you -

Actually, I am not doing it to hide behind anything. I gave an honest read. My reads are not dictated by what others reads are me much of the time. There is evidence of this when I went from Town to Scum on MM earlier in the thread.

Oh yeah, and one part of my role is miller. On top of the usual guilty investigations thing, it seems like I'll show up as having visited a random person who died each night.

Sleepwalker is a role I haven't heard of in a long time. Miller-sleepwalker sounds pretty believable actually, although it's an odd combo.

Why Lickety is scum and you should vote him:
1.) He's hedging his bets. (MS or GL? Seriously? You couldn't just say you had 4 scumreads? You had to limit the amount you had? Seems fake.)
2.) He's fishing and only focused on roles and mechanics. No scumhunting from him whatsoever. This is metagaming at its finest. It's filler.
3.) He's spreading suspicion everywhere and keeping his options open. Look at the last 2 pages and see how many people he's called suspect.

Now lynch the obv. scum.

For me, 1st reason translates into: he just has plain bad reads.
2nd reason is actually quite valid, he's so far planted his vote on me, and hasn't done shit except say how bad my reasons for voting him are, and try to bait anything that's everything. He keeps doing a ton of useless spec too. Trying to outguess the mod or w/e. I have strong bias on meta gaming people, so that's the nullish part of the reason.
3rd reason sounds like you think he's opportunistic, but that's basically your first reason. Point out to me multiple instances of him being opportunistic than maybe that'll support what you're saying.

So I read up a little.
On page 6:

This is what I think so.

Metal Sonic tries all his quirky gambits early game. I don't think anyone takes him seriously, but I def think he is town.

Davsto reacts cautiously to all of the 'gambits' and is mostly playful, I would say Null on him.

Tails just gives horrible X is town and Y is scum. He looks like all his reads are from other people too. I give those reads also, but come on >.>

Mario is town because everyone was trying to paint a target on his back.

Smiffle seems scummy cause he was trying to be opportunistic it seems.

I think this ISO is pretty bad. Apart from calling smiffle's first vote awful, he hasn't done anything to scumhunt at all despite having a decent number of posts. He seems more preoccupied with setup/role speculation then actually catching scum.

Don't know why people are trying to focus on ASP right now, it's a waste of time to try to get info on a player who hasn't even posted yet especially when the thread pretty active - it's pointless filler that doesn't help town at all.


Also on the topic of Nana, I have a feeling that Nana is going to survive the first kill on her and revive as Popo. It would also make sense given that Ice Climbers don't die until Popo himself is dead.

Does anyone else really not like this post? Like what is it saying that has not been said? On top of that their activity has been crap all game. I'm going to vote this.
