HELLOOOOOO!

unvote

Okay, on first read-through, here's what I have to say:

If ROTN's role is Roland, probability that he is scum is very high.

Soon I will decide who to vote for and when I do, it's gonna be good, because I know everything.

P.S. Don't you like Cameron Crowe movies? Like this one:

P.P.S. I have a posting restriction, if anyone wants to know.

LyingBrian, are you a ditz? (Please say yes. I mean this in the nicest possible way).

I still maintain that RotN is most likely scum if his role is Roland.

This is evidence (not really):

I don't really care about the third vote argument some people are making. I mainly think Ranger is scum because he is Roland.

I would like to hear from LyingBrian before I vote.

Eh, maybe.

Logicticus, I am wondering why you didn't originally want to reveal your post restriction. I don't see why revealing that you have to misspell five words per post would be any advantage for the mafia.

LB -- It may be good for you to claim. It seems between you and RotN, and he has already claimed. I think what looks scummy to people is how many times you have changed your vote and also the lurking (even if it is unintentional).

LB: I didn't mean to offend you about the ditz comment. I asked it for a specific purpose. And if you don't feel the need to claim, that's fine with me. I was just suggesting it because most people seem like they are going to vote for you or RotN. Yes, you only have 2 votes, but I think that's because we don't know how many scum are out there waiting to jump a speedlynch.

And I don't know what the "my schtick" stuff proves.

@DonGaetano -- the only thing I can think of is that LB has been instructed to act this way, but also instructed that he can't talk about it (as he has said he has no restriction). Otherwise he is town, who did this meta-gaming thing that none of us are really convinced of.

But I think those possibilities are really slim.

I know it's not a one-game antic, but I don't know what that tells me either. Just because you seem to do this a lot doesn't mean that you are never scum. But I will re-read the thread before 8 pm, and before voting.

For some reason I have a really strong urge to vote for Stewie. Have no idea why though. I still think voting for RotN/Roland is also a good bet.

It's true that un-nightkillable is a powerful town ability, but we had three night kills the first night, proving the anit-town forces are quite strong. The only hope of balancing a game like that would be to give some town roles awesome abilities.

Sorry, Don, simulpost...

As to Erica being scum...I don't really know what factors raj is considering when making roles scum or not. I will say that Erica is "one of his girls." Not someone he has any bad feelings for. He had three of us reading his last English paper...I was second, and Erica was third, as he decided her advanced degree in law should have the final word. That's all I really know about her.

OK. I just reread the thread, and I think Don Geatano's idea for us just to put all our suspicions out there is a good one.

First, here's everyone's post restrictions, that I can tell:
Stewie: Must correct foul language
logic: Must misspell five words per post
elvis: must post crazy pictures and stuff
iammars: act like a pirate and post pirate pics
RotN: capitalize F's and be the last to post for each day
Chaos: didn't say what his was, but that he did have one (page 4, post 77)

So my suspicions are as follows:
Chaos
- 1) For not saying what his restriction was. Also, I can't tell what his restriction is. Also, he didn't think revealing restrictions was a good idea. Why? I have no idea. But seems funny to me. (
Logic
also didn't want us all to reveal our restrictions).
2)Chaos keeps harping on RotN for the third vote stuff. Chaos keeps asking for an explanation when RotN has already given one. Honestly, the explanation was good enough for me. (I know this conflicts with my RotN suspicions below, but I may be wrong on one and not the other, and I have no idea which. Also, scum can go after one another).

Logic and Stewie
- for pushing Darq to refine her results about how many scum were active last night. It's possible scum want to know exactly how her ability works so that they can avoid her detection tonight.

RotN
- only because his role is Roland. We already know that inHim is most likely a scum role (from the death by bible stuff last night). I'm thinking that the foursome of friends from raj's hometown that are also scummers (MOS, raj, Roland, inHim) could be our scum. But maybe that's too breakable. I'll just put it as a possibility.

OKAY. That's my super-long post for you all. Please tell me what you all think of these things! Let's put it all out there!

LB's claim about Erica is a law student at BU is completely correct, so I know that isn't fake. The only part he could be faking is that he is town :P I dunno though. The claim to be unnightkillable because she lives so far from Kentucky seems believable. Personally, I believe LB.

A mass claim? I'd do it if everyone agrees. I don't have a problem with it, but I don't really know the pro's and con's to it.

From what Don and RotN are saying, scum can't win if LB is an unkillable townie.

HOW ABOUT IF THE SCUM KILL EVERYONE ELSE AND LYNCH LB THE LAST DAY?

LB can be lynched...so they can just lynch him when there's nobody else to prevent it (i.e. other townies).

About LB,
don wrote:When it comes to your role being provable. My point is that I believe you have the ability you say you have, expecially because of what Elvis has said, I just don't think you're pro-town.
If having an unkillable townie is so powerful and unbalancing, how much more unbalancing is it to have an unkillable scum when we are already screwed into having three kills the first night? It sounds like town couldn't win with a set up like that.

Maybe we should just lynch Ranger...I think that was a lot of people's second choice, and someone everyone can get behind.

I would also like to say that I am a girl and as a girl, I have no idea what a vaginal cup is, nor has my vagina ever needed a cup. I am trying to figure it out though, and the results are somewhat murky (no pun intended). He has requested I post my findings, but I don't want to make anyone vomit.

OH MAN! Thought you guys should know this:

Remember all of LyingBrian's bullshit saying he can't be scum because he hid a message in his posts saying "my schtick"??? Then he said I should defend him because I know he did this in another game we're in? Well, we lynched LB in that game and he CAME UP SCUM. So his dumb messages prove nothing and I feel like a fool for not lynching him yesterday. (Sorry to Don G for being ALL over you!)

Ugh, this is hard.
What incorrect information? I really am sorry for not lynching LB yesterday, but I was telling you as much as I knew at the time. Besides, Chaos, you never unvoted, so you didn't help much either.

Also...I have to do something right now, but, trust me, it hurts me more than it hurts you. (Tumors hurt, you know?)

Chaos:
I've been in NO other games where the mod didn't require an unvote to vote for someone else. I think this rule is standard. If I am wrong, please let me know (everybody).

You still didn't say what incorrect information I supplied, so you get this:

LB, the pics are not supplied by raj, I have to find them myself. They are supposed to be on the three topics you said: tumor, Elizabethtown and horses. They don't really mean anything to the game except that they hint at my role (I think, I don't know the person that I have). It's just sort of a flavor thing.

i did an x-ray of a tumor because it is less disgusting than other kinds of pictures of a tumor. I did a "diagram" of a horse, because that is what i am required to do today. My role sometimes requires a "pic," sometimes a "diagram," and sometimes I just have to talk about whatever the topic is (horses, tumors, Elizabethtown).

Have you been to Elizabethtown? I want to go there. I want to meet Orlando Bloom so he can introduce me to his friend Viggo Mortensen. O SNAP! He's already here! Hi RangeroFtheNorth!

It wouldn't be impossible for mafia to win with LB around. They can't kill him; they can lynch him. That's why mafia would definitely want to lynch him. That's why we have to be careful about lynching him.

Personally, I am leaning toward lynching LB. It's not so much that he turned up scum in our other game, but the fact that he wanted to use me to prove he was innocent in both games.

Anyway, I really think we should hear from some of the MUTE members of freaktown...like darquiel! I really want to know how many killers left their houses last night. I wouldn't want to vote until we got input from everyone. I mean, they may incriminate themselves in the process. :P

Welcome halo freak!

Here are my thoughts on things right now:

To be honest, I don't know what to do about LB. :? I'd be fine with voting him, except for the fact that if he really is pro-town, we're screwing ourselves majorly. I find it REALLY suspicious that only two people left their houses to kill last night. It means nobody went to try to kill LyingBrian. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that looks bad for LB. (Unless scum counted on this making him look bad, thus setting him up for a lynch).

My second choice for scum is RotN. Let's not forget that his role is ROLAND.

Like I've pointed out several times today, any scum who tried to target LB tonight would be idiots. It would be pointless. The fact that he wasn't targeted doesn't make LB more suspicious or less suspicious. It only means that our killers aren't stupid.
I thought they might test him. Who knows if he's telling the truth? He could be a lying SK for all I know.

My point is that the
mafia
have no way on knowing if LyingBrian is town or SK, and also can't know if he is lying about his unkillable ability. So they might try to kill him. I mean, unless they are just trusting him, they might try to kill him.

No?

Why is this page so skinny :?:

LB, as halo said, I don't see the problem with you claiming. I don't see how it gaves the mafia any advantage. They already can't kill you at night -- or so you say. The only thing claiming will do is either help you convince the town that you are town, or incriminate yourself if someone can disprove you.

So after halo voted for Ranger, I waited a little bit to see if anyone else jumped on the vote -- like if scum would jump on the lynch on an innocent. But nobody else has voted for Ranger for two days, which makes me think Ranger is scum. I think scum only vote for eachother if it looks like they have to.

So I'll
unvote; vote Ranger

LB...what is the harm in answering the question? The only reason I am not voting for you right now is that if you are town it would be very bad to lose you. But if you won't disclose your whole role I may vote for you anyway.

LB, if you are town, who do you have suspicions about? You have had to be very defensive because we've all been suss of you, but I think it might help the game move forward if you give your suspicions.

Either that, or we just lynch LB. Those are the best options I can think of at this point.

I'm close to casting the last vote on LB. The more I think about it, being unnightkillable is a pretty good power for an SK to have. It's a fair advantage for them to have seeing as they don't have very many other advantages. Plus I still don't understand why he didn't just want to tell us he doesn't have a night choice. He was dragging it out forever, and I don't understand why.

I want to vote for logic now. Is it bad form to lynch him while he isn't here? He said he won't be back until the 5th. But we can't wait that long. I'll try to go back and reread for more specific discussion of my suspicions.

I know nothing about raj's friend Steven and can neither confirm nor deny anything. (Just thought I'd let you guys know, because I have heard of some of the people).

I am Jaide, aka Jaide225. I like to talk about Elizabethtown, horses, and tumors (and hence my posting restrictions). Also, I am supposed to pretend like I know everything (which I do  ). I have no power. I am not any sort of cop or doc. I win with the town.

Right now, I think Stewie is our scum. There have been two people killed by the word of God in this game. I figured this killer would be inHim, but didn't think anyone would claim inHim. The fact that Stewie claimed inHim is confusing to me, but maybe that's why he did it (WIFOM as Chaos pointed out).

I have been thinking, maybe there is only one scum left. I sort of believe Chaos because Logic/raj was "sporked to death" last night, an action that has not happened before. Makes sense for a vig to have a killing action that we haven't seen thus far. Although, I guess he could just be a mafia member who hadn't done the actual killing any of the previous nights, and so we havn't seen his killing method.

Don, what do you think of Chaos' claim?

Oh and yeah, STEWIE...tell us your night choices, and try to save yourself if you are by some chance, not scum.

Jaide is the girl raj took to prom, I think. He showed me a pic. Other than that I don't know anything really.

I think she'd approve of this diagram of a tumor though:

Hmm...I am not decided who to vote for yet. I'll be rereading the last few pages again to try to see how Don went from thinking Stewie was most likely scum, to voting for Chaos. I guess this is because he thinks Chaos is the "Shadow man." I'll be thinking...

If you didn't know what your kill method was, why did you say in your vig-claim post:
Chaos wrote:I figured I would thrust my trusty spork into his face and see what happens.
And yeah, I basically think you are SK at this point. I may put my vote on shortly.

P.S. Don't you think horses are beautiful? I do. I own the movie Seabiscuit so that I can watch horses any time I want!

The only reason I want to think about it some more is because relying too heavily on the mod death scenes can be dangerous. I'll probably vote Chaos in the next few hours though...

Don Gaetano wrote:Anything you can say?
This is what I propose. It involves me assuming that Don Gaetano is town. And for the rest of you all, you have to assume that I am town also. For me this is not a leap, but the rest of you may not want to do it. This leaves Stewie or LB as SK.

NIGHT ACTIONS, as I think we should do them:
Don protects me
Stewie, if you are doc as you say, protect Don.

Now if the SK is LyingBrian he can only kill Stewie -- the player that is looking like he'll be lynched tomorrow. So if we open tomorrow with Stewie dead, we know LB is SK.

If Stewie is the SK, he has to kill Don, as I am protected and LyingBrian is unnightkillable. So if Don dies we know Stewie is SK.

Now, if we do the night actions I have suggested, the SK has to go no-kill. Or the SK will have to convince me that Don is scum, or alternately, convince Don that I am scum. Personally, I would not be easily convinced that Don is scum, so I warn scum not to try this avenue!

Ok. Well anyway, I can see no way for Stewie to get out of this. I just can't see him being a placebo doc named inHim who heals by the power of God, when incidentally there is a different killer that kills by the word of God. Makes no sense.

Hey, so if Stewie is a placebo doc whose power doesn't always work (and sometimes backfires), he should have said he protected Ibaesha N1 -- because she is the one that died from the word of God, not Fritzler.

If Stewie sticks by his claimed actions, it seems IMPOSSIBLE to me that we have one player who protects by the word of God and ANOTHER player who kills by the word of God.

I think we should lynch Stewie. That's why I'm voting him.

But if we go no-lynch and I die, this is what I think:

Don Gaetano - I don't think he's scum. I just don't. He's been very helpful in lynching scum, and I really don't think he's made a wrong move all game. If he's scum, I've been completely fooled (wouldn't be the first time!). I guess anything is possible, but I think Don Gaetano being scum is not very probable at all.

LyingBrian - He has acted scummy at times. Remember we almost lynched him? I do believe his role is Erica, and it makes sense that he can't be killed at night because I know that it is true that Erica is in law school in Boston. The fact that he wants to no-lynch is suspicious to me, though. It is making he take a second look at him.

I have a question I will go research and see if I can find the answer to: What happens if there is only two players left and one is the SK? Is it a draw? OR do they no-lynch and go to night where the SK kills the townie? I have the feeling that no-lynch today only helps the SK get closer to winning.

Stewie - I think I've already said that I can't buy that he is inHim and prays for people to be saved, but there is another player that frames him by killing by the word of God.

I think no-lynch is suspicious because I think it gives the SK a free kill tonight. First you talk about no-lynch, then you talk about Don agreeing not to protect anyone. Do you WANT someone to die?

About the Boston thing -- I don't know. True, it doesn't make sense for you to be able to come to Kentucky and kill if people in Kentucky can't come to Boston and kill you. So, if that's true, you aren't scum. In that case, it's Stewie.

The only reason I REALLY want us to lynch someone is because I REALLY think Stewie is guilty.

Can you explain how it is possible that Stewie is innocent? How is it possible that Stewie uses the word of God to protect and another player uses the word of God to kill?

I don't think I have talked about tumors yet today. I should. Tumors are crazy.

TUMOR FACT OF THE DAY:
I have a friend that was researching the benefits of EGCG (the stuff in green tea) on tumors. If you take enough EGCG it inhibits the tumor from getting a good blood supply, which makes the tumor die! But you can't just drink a lot of tea because the amount of EGCG in green tea is too small to make a difference. You have to take the stuff straight.

A no lynch is meaningless now, unless we run out of time today. Right now the fact is that either:

1. Elvis dies = we lynch Stewie.

2. Stewie dies = we lynch Elvis.

3. I die by the word of god. No information is gained and you would be alone to figure out who the remaining scum is.

Unless you think there's a possibility that I'm scum ofcourse, then it could help, but if you do, I can't understand why the remaining scum would kill anyone at all.
How come if Stewie dies I have to be scum? Why can't it be LB, or you, for that matter? I don't think either of you are scum, but why would it be impossible that anyone other than me would kill Stewie?

Also, I take it that nobody else has ever seen a game with a "framer" role, as none of you said you have. Doesn't that sort of prove Stewie is BSing us? I am not even convinced that a "framer" role even exists.

elvis=Jaide
LB=Erika
Don=Jed Psycho-Man Estes, AKA the Sexy Movie Man
Stewie=inHim/Aaron

So, where is MOS, I don't know. Maybe his real name is Steven and he was Chaos, and is already dead.

Hey, I think raj just confirmed that MOS is scum, by saying he gave them his screenname and everything.

I would assume he figured Alex was innocent.
Good thinking.
Don wrote:Remember that Darquiel turned out innocent, and he had a role that told him there were four scum.

Darquiel being insane with a role like that is too far fetched, so there can't be two scum left now, I'm sure there's only one.
Also, since we have three dead scum, I can't believe we have two left, giving us a total of 5 scum in this game. Isn't it normal to have 1/3 be scum in a game? That would be 4 scum. Meaning one left.

I think everyone should post their role's aim screename. I know I already posted mine with my claim -- "Jaide225"

Also, please note that LB put his SN in his original claim too:

i am Erika, also known as wysiwyg...

i am currently studying Law @ BostonU, so there is not enough time for anybody to travel to Boston from Kentucky during the night, therefore i cannot be night-killed...

i hinted at this in post # 147...

not sure i understand the importance of "wysiwyg" (what you see is what you get), but maybe somebody who knows rajrchpfreak can enlighten me?!...

So, Don, you didn't say what your role's AIM screenname is. Neither did Stewie, but I guess he'll have that for us later. (BTW, I know what Aaron's AIM sn is, so if Stewie can't get it right, he's toast).

Also, I think that the way you guys are "confirming" yourselves by putting Stewie at lynch-minus-one and waiting to see if the other puts the lyncher on, is not totally fool proof. In my last newbie game (164) somebody used that reasoning to confirm me as town, and I was really scum. Just because somebody doesn't put on the lynching vote at a certain time doesn't mean they can't be scum. Just so you know. BUT, I still think Stewie is scum.

Just to clarify...I think there's a flaw in my reasoning here. I believe Aaron
should
be in the game, so I believe Stewie is Aaron. So, even if he doesn't know Aaron's screenname, I guess it doesn't really matter.

@Don. That's weird that you weren't given an AIM screenname, but maybe your character just doesn't have one.
