Alright, FakeGod, let me ask you a few questions.

Why are you rushing us into voting right now, while we still have plenty of time left over before the deadline? Why would not voting right now equals wanting a no lynch? That are some pretty heavy logic fallacies to me.

Because unlike opinions, which are flimsy and changes a lot, votes are solid records of what stances people took. If people present their opinions without actually voting, then they could be scum attempting to slip through the radar by both seemingly scumhunt yet not actually contributing toward the game, and their records would be hard to find because it wouldn't last in the vote counts. I want people to commit their votes when they present their opinions so that I see they're serious in their logic, and that they're not trying to slip by without leaving records.

And of course, not voting isn't same as wanting a no lynch. I wanted people to vote, so I warned those who are not voting that if their status of 'not voting' were to continue, I would take them as wanting a no lynch.

My gut still says Kalofer is town. I'm no psychology genius, but the only time I've ever seen a mafia player spaz like that (it was IRL) was when we were about to kill him, and he never got quiet before. I dislike the most his willingness to slap a third vote on someone while being critical of another player for doing this, while initially finding Kalofer scummy and then changing his mind and attacking fakegod for it. It doesn't smell right.

I think Parker has a strong chance of being scum too, he's taking a very non serious approach to the game while being completely confident that I'm scum. (Even stated 100%) It was countered that I shouldn't have taken that seriously, but if I ask a question and get an answer that's what I'm going to do.

Out of all the stances against me, I can kinda see where Kalofer and Nashi are coming from with their suspicions, but I don't understand why Parker is suspicious of me at all, and Tevlalott's reasoning on me is pretty weak overall, as are his stances on all his previous suspects when I took a closer look.

Kal, I'm not playing mind games here. There's a good reason why I never mind votes on me.

Say you're a scummy townie and you're attracting (unhealthy) attention from other players in your game.

Then, the best thing you could do, in my honest and humble opinion, is to remove yourself early in the game via a lynch, to remove yourself from the list of suspects and lessen the confusion you're creating among the town.

If I'm creating too much unhealthy attention from my fellow townspeople, then I would know when votes are piling on me, and if I'm playing waay too scummy, then I wouldn't being lynched to clear things up a bit for the town, granted that it's not LyLo.

Also, reason why I talk about inconsistencies a lot is because, well, from my experience,

scum tend to be inconsistent

.

They simply have to be very flexible in their stances in order to "flow" with the town, and survive, which is why I look for inconsistencies in other people's posts.

This is why I highly discourage people to make wishy-washy posts, which creates inconsistencies that scum can hide behind, and encourage committing a vote and sticking with an opinion, which would limit scum's options and force them to make a stand somewhere.

Sorry, Kal, but looking at the vote counts, unless scum apparently decided bus, the last scum has to be you.

Also, if you look at timing of when Abe and Nashi voted, it doesn't make much sense to think of them as scum in my opinion. (unless they're bussing)

There was a wagon on me that had two townies (if Kal is town) already. In that case, it would've been easy to just vote me and got me lynched without much suspicion.

I'm VT, and I assume by Abe's post that he is also VT.

@tvell: Kalofer's post 626 is only way that I possibly might be scum at this point, if I had, indeed, bussed Nik to gain town cred.

However, upon closer inspection, my start of Nik wagon makes little sense if I were a bussing scum, because 1) Nik wasn't under much of an attack before I attacked him, and makes very little sense to sacrifice a scum partner who's not in danger, 2) I provided almost no reasoning other than "gut feeling", which makes no sense if Nik and I had planned on his wagon in the night, 3) if Nik and I were indeed scum who decided to bus each other, then WHY did we decide to sacrifice the more valuable Mafia Roleblocker instead of the Mafia Goon, with the threat of 2 PRs looming around?

Guys, it's simply implausible for Mafia to have bussed their Roleblocker yesterday with possibility of 2 PRs remaining, because, as Abe pointed out, it would be auto-win if there indeed were 2 PRs left. Therefore, I concluded that none of the mafia bussed, and the voting record is as real as it gets. With this logic, only one alive who was voting for me yesterday was Kalofer, which is why I concluded that he is scum.

I can't answer for others, but I can answer for myself why I'm voting Kal. By my analysis, scum were forced into a position where they simply couldn't bus their roleblocker giving away ton of info and risking instant loss. Therefore, I concluded that scum have not bussed, and that naturally meant that Kal, only player who's still alive on my wagon, is our final scum.

Kal had his day to post his final thoughts. I'm going to ask Nashi/tvell to hammer.

From my experience, town self-hammer is generally frowned upon (there are some cases where you'd want to divide the town in certain way with it, but very rare), while scum self-hammer is considered a legitimate move (because it shuts down discussion and stops additional info on who hammered from town).

Kal, the reason I asked you to explain is because I couldn't quite follow what you wrote in your posts.

For example,

no scum would be reckless enough to risk so much just so his scum buddy wouldn't be lynched whether roleblocker or not, no scum would stick his neck so far out and furthermore no scum would kill someone who supported him (zach and his support on your wagon).

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here, which is why I asked. *shrug*

I'm glad I asked, because there seems to be a bit of misunderstanding.

I think you're scum not because you worked very hard to defend the roleblocker per se, but because the mafia simply wouldn't have bussed their roleblocker yesterday, meaning they wouldn't have placed any votes on their roleblocker. This practically clears everyone on Nik wagon, and by process of elimination, you have to be the last mafia.

If mafia were to buss their roleblocker, they risk insta-loss tomorrow, as well as giving away the setup information to town and PRs.

This is something they would never do because 1) Nik (roleblocker) was not in any imminent danger when d1 ended, and 2) if they choose to bus, they could always bus the goon instead of the roleblocker.

I don't see any way around this, Kal.

Fact:

Mafia knows there must be either doc and cop, or no prs.

If there are doc and cop, and mafia busses roleblocker, then today there would be doc + cop and a mafia goon.

With mass claim, there would be doc, cop, and 3 townies. (if mafia cc's one of the prs, we lynch both prs and win the game)

We rl one of the townies, and cop will inspect another. Doc will be on cop.

Next day, it comes down to 1 cop, 1 confirmed town, and 1 fake townie. GG.

Conclusion:

Instant loss for mafia with no way out, had it been the setup with the prs.


Also, regarding my statement about giving away the setup information:

If mafia roleblocker is lynched, then townies will know that this is setup 1 or 2. And if there were any prs, they will know that this is setup 1.

If mafia goon is lynched, then townies know nothing. And if there were any prs, they know nothing.

Not a difficult choice for mafia should they decide to bus.
