You're right that the probability goes up with each vote. But how do you distinguish which come from scum, if any, when all three are random/joke votes?

I'm gonna try to say this as clearly as possible, so there is no misunderstanding. I have no problems with random votes evenly disbursed amongst players over all. Once an actual bandwagon forms, I would like there to be *some* reason given for voting. I get antsy for reasons around the halfway-to-lynch mark. Mainly because at that point, I no longer feel the votes are random unless people are using a dice roller and the natural laws of probability are being bent over.

Eh... the only reason they wouldn't be random anymore is because it's a BANDWAGON. Halfway to lynch point is not really a milestone. Personally I like joining early game bandwagons to get things going. Mainly because it gets things going.

@IH- yes, the bandwagon is the turning point from random votes to real. That's what I'm saying. Once it becomes a bandwagon, I'd like to hear why peoplea re voting that person. From what you've said I could see you saying "because everyone else is doing it". I personally don't think that's a good enough reason to vote, but it gives me something to work with as far as getting a feel for your motives. I find that bandwagons tend to give me more information about the people voting than the person being voted.

Normally, I don't people acting "wierd" because of a bandwagon on them but SK is acting in a very pro-town way.

I see it as a null tell, personally. It's a stupid opinion/reaction, IMHO, but stupid doesn't necessarily mean scummy.

Already read up, and I have to say a lot of people are taking the random voting stage way too seriously. I'll have to think for a bit, but my vote is probably going to land on one of these people.

How is being serious in what some may still consider the RVS scummy?

It's not terribly scummy, it's just that it seems like they're trying to make things that aren't scummy seem scummy. Also, they're the only big-time scummy players so far. If someone else does something worthy of my vote, I'll gladly switch my vote.

If no one ever takes it serious, then how do you get out of the RVS?

Which is normally the best way to get things moving along and out of the RVS, so whats the problem?

I'm not liking him being against being serious in the RVS, as thats how you get out of it. And how he is reluctant to vote. its not like he has to go and reread again before voting, since we are only on page three.

More like a treat, I see it as a possible scumtell. As I said, there's a chance that the votes are just random, but there's also a chance that it's an early bandgwagon pushed by the mafia (probably just one of them).
