Your main point, as much as I can tell from simply skimming the thread, is that Simpor asked Wolf to clarify her point that she thought you had a power role. Did I miss anything else?Ether wrote:In other news, no one's commented on my Simpor vote.

I don't know if I like your vote on Simpor, Ether. Truthfully, I think Ether's acting very scummy, not power-role-y.Green Crayons wrote:Your main point, as much as I can tell from simply skimming the thread, is that Simpor asked Wolf to clarify her point that she thought you had a power role. While scummish, I don't find it worthy of a vote compared to Mizzy, corp or - if I was to just look at people who were throwing out guesses as to who has power roles - wolf herself.
First off, I dislike the juxtaposition between "How dare you ask me about Ped?" and "I like questions." Second, that's a strawman fallacy, combined with false warnings of doom to push his point home. Yes, asking certain types of questions is necessary, butPost 162, Simpor wrote:I could ask you, why the hell do you care what I like about Ped?
I believe that it is a responsibility as a townie to ask questions, if we didn't do that, the scum would win every time.
There. Yeah, you're trying to understand where the town feels for them, but to me it just seemed demanding, despite the 'please'.Ether wrote:Please List {Fuzzyman, Green Crayons, q21} in order of scumminess.
i dont read a game unless im in it. thats just always seemed un ethical to me. i understand alot of people disagree with me, but i feel like if your not in a game. that game is none of your business.crywolf20084 wrote:I don't want him to just 'hide.' I wish I could quote the other games he's in, but sadly they are all new games.
Example coming in a moment.
I don't really care what his real identity is. He's trumping up minor bad points brought against him while dismissing/ignoring other points he doesn't want to talk about, claiming that he's already discussed them when all he has done is said a line or two without explaining further criticism. That's all within the scope of the game before me. I don't think knowing if he generally plays this way or if this is his escape handle so he can get away with playing this way helps us in the least.Ether wrote:Canary/Crywolf, what do you think about my efforts to learn what the deal with Corporate is? Crywolf actually criticized his efforts to hide his identity.
Corporate, please review the thread and the accusations leveled against you. Take the twenty minutes to respond to them in full.
hay, im not taking any offense. can you quote me where i said i was a good player? .... nope. ;pGreen Crayons wrote:And by bad player, I don't mean inherently. Just in this game, making some bad performance choices.
Nothing personal. My criticism still stands.
So what you are saying is that, despite the very word that makes her entire sentence a request and not an order, you feel that she demanded it? You completely disregarded the exact word that was pivotal to the voice of the sentence.crywolf20084 wrote:There. I think it's just your way of speaking. It always seems to me pushing to mold the town into your ways of thinking.
Context, context, context.corporate wrote:you can tell someone to please go fuck themself. but it still sounds like a demand.
You also have to remember that what Ether asked is extremely common practice in MS games to ask of other players. It's not like she pulled it out of her ass.corporate wrote:i understand what your saying mizzy, and my example was a bit extreme. although sometimes its hard to tell when youre reading. as opposed to actual convorsation.
meh..
