   - Don’t be a dick. This is a heated game but toxicity will not be tolerated. Attack the play not the player. If your fellow players tell you to stop, you must stop. 5. Don't talk about ongoing games

11. Confirmation
    - You have about 72 hours to confirm your role and your alignment by PM. Game will start sooner if everyone confirms. Posting in a private topic counts as confirmation.
    
12. Days
    - Day 1 lasts 10 days and other days last 7 days. Extensions may be granted if there are replacements, or if the majority of players make it clear to me that an extension is desired.
    
13. Activity
    - You must post at least once every 36 hours or I will Prod you. You then have 24 hours to post in the game thread or I will replace you. If you come back before I find a replacement, you can stay. The activity timers run at half-speed on weekends. Players can request me to prod somebody early. This will only count as an official prod if you don't post before you would have been due for a prod. If you haven't posted in the 24 hours before the thread is locked for night, you must reply to the night start PM or you will be replaced during the night.
    
14. Vacation/Limited Access
    If you need to be absent for longer than this, you should declare

18. Elimination
    - Days end early when a simple majority of players (50% of living players + 1 rounded down) vote to eliminate somebody. 19. Twilight
    - Begins when a majority is reached and lasts until I lock the thread. You're still alive until I flip you so you can talk in any game threads you have access to until then, but no votes or unvotes will be counted.
    
20. Night
    - Night lasts at least 48 hours. The night phase can be shortened if every living player -- even those with no night actions -- agrees to it and if I'm not busy.
    
21. Action submissions
    - You may submit actions via PM (if town) or PT (if scum). If the actions are not submitted by the deadline then you do nothing. You can change your mind as many times as you like before the deadline.
    
22. Reminders
    - If I don't hear from you about your night actions, I'll PM you 24 hours before the deadline. This doesn't count as a prod. If I still don't hear from you, you will take no action.
    
23. Play to win
    - this particular game, not some future one, and keep it fun!
    
24. Have fun

Tbh I took these rules from someone else, but sure, here is clarification:

Spoiler: clarification

Asking people to stop voting you or to stop scumhunting you entirely doesn't count for this rule and you may find yourself eliminated if you try it.

This is quoted out of context. The rule says "if you are asked to stop behaving a certain way, you must stop" (for instance, if other players ask a player to stop swearing, that player SHOULD stop swearing).
The exception is that other players shouldn't stop if they are told to stop voting you, and trying this might lead to others voting you even more.

36 hours before prod, 24 hours before replacement, 24 hour weekends… The activity timers run at half-speed on weekends.

You are allowed 36 hours between posts. If you do not post within 36 hours of your last post, you will be prodded. If you do not post within 24 hours of being prodded, you will be replaced. The entire weekend (Saturday + Sunday) counts as only 24 hours for this rule (half speed).

Honestly I predicted this kind of modguessing would happen which is why I literally flipped a coin to decide whether the GS (originally 1-shot cop) would be paired with a goon or with a vig. That way I'm guessproof!

if it's 9:4 i'm very very very curious to see what the reviewers say. i've played one 4:9 closed game with nightkills on here, it wasn't a normal, and it was widely regarded as a big mistake.

I just found this incredibly funny because I just watched a 8:4:1 game end in a mafia sweep (hosted in a different platform by a friend of mine that has a totally different outlook on balance than me). And I was absolutely horrified of that game's balance.

btw I felt this setup was slightly town-sided, and would probably be more balanced if the doc wasn't disloyal or the rolestopper was every night, but in the end neither of these changed would have mattered! (since both scum PRs died before this would actually affect gameplay)

Anyway the townsweep that happened here was mainly connected with dayplay I'd say (since in any case having an odd-night gunsmith is balanced). So really well done to town for doing a good job!
