Don Corneo has some questions for youse:

1. Congratulations on making the merge! That's a huge deal in the world of survivor. It means youse have a high probability of making it all the way to the final tribal council where youse will plead your case to win this game, which is one of the many objectives as a survivor player. Do youse have a plan going forward about how youse will accomplish this yet? If so, what is it? If not, do youse have thoughts about things youse can do to have a case to win over the other members of the merge?

2. Youse are finally meeting everyone in game, some for the second time. Have youse made assessments of your fellow Family Members? Are there some youse trust? Are there some youse distrust? Why or why not? Feel free to give an organization on who youse trust to who youse least trust for Friends of the Family looking to get some insight to your thoughts.

3. The challenges have been a variety of various flash games thus far. Are there any flash games youse are dreading to see in the future? Are there any flash games youse are hoping to see in the future? Which challenge has been your favorite thus far? How about your least? What are the reasons for your responses?

4. Now that youse are merged the construction idol is guaranteed to be somewhere on your new Family. Given that the Construction Idol could potentially be switching hands every twenty four hours, does this give youse any guesses on who may or may not have it at this time? Do you plan to make efforts in obtaining this power yourself or do youse see it as a bit of a crapshoot? Why is that?

5. If youse had your pick of who goes next, who would it be and why? If it's not the person you trust the least, is it a strategic decision as to why youd want someone else out?

I feel bad particularly after someone else just dipped out but man, I really don't like this game. I don't like thinking about this game when I'm doing something else. I don't like feeling obligated to check in on this game during all of my free time. I don't like the forced idle chatter and the subterfuge or any of it. The challenges have been fun I guess.

Sorry, I don't think I'm gonna answer any of the above questions. I really don't wanna quit on yall, wouldn't be fair to the mods or the other players, particularly after another player just left.

But lowkey I kinda hope I get voted out. And if I feel that way maybe I should just dip, I dunno. I feel bad for the people who it'd hurt in the game but like, uhg.

Wrote that reply before I saw your subsequent post.  I wouldn't have been so flippant otherwise!  It's not for everyone, and if you're at all invested in the game, it does start leaking into your non-Survivor life.  But it's quite exciting still.

What I need is what little free time I have to feel free again.

I can see the appeal it would hold for some people but I now know I am most certainly not one of those people.

This is hard. I didn't really connect much with Carmine and it's hard to judge just how much influence he had on the game. He's giving a hard sell, but Bobfather seemed to discredit some of what he was saying. So I think a lot of his contribution is exaggeration. Not that I hold that against him, he's gotta sell himself, but it leaves me without a good idea of how to judge his game.

So I'm basically left asking if I want to vote for Crystal or vote for Not Crystal...

The answer to my final question had some good points and some bad points. On one hand, I appreciated seeing that Crystal is most certainly playing a thoughtful game.

On the other hand, it's possible to ascribe more intent to yourself looking back than you actually had. And it's not like any scintilla of trust I had in her paid off this game. Like, at all. From what I can tell she was basically never straight with me ever. But is that worth voting against her? Shady Shin is unsure.

When I came into this game I quickly pegged her as someone that knew what she was doing and therefore I should be wary of her. And... whelp.

I guess what it comes down to is that I think Crystal played a good enough game to be worthy of a win. And hey, she did win that vital last immunity. But I also feel personally inclined to not vote for her based on how our games interacted. I asked her why Shady Shin should vote for her. I threw her a damn soft ball! And she just let it bean her in the face. Maybe there just isn't any good reason for me to vote for her.

Bah.
