Rolecop seems to me like the best role, hands-down, especially given that the scum know how many and which power roles they're looking for. Godfather actually seems pretty weak in this game - depending on which roles the scum chose, it's possible that it'll do nothing at all. Roleblocker is decent, but not especially scary (unless they have the rolecop). I'm a bit torn between the last two - encryptor seems less useful, but the prospect of being denied role information isn't exactly pleasant. Vigilante seems safer (especially because there's the off-chance that it'll do nothing at all), though I'm fine with either, really.

Also, Incognito is obvscum. Just sayin'.

Daytalking is mostly harmless. (I could give examples, but I'm not going to.) It's the janitor aspect I'm afraid of.

I don't think the rolecop

enhances

the roleblocker so much as it renders it obsolete. I think I'd prefer the vig over the encryptor, though I keep going back and forth on all three.

Having said that, Mellowed needs to give some analysis of the other roles. 13 is...I'd say non-committal, though I realize that other people have posted without voting at all. But it bugs me that he takes a route

only

when it's easy.

Vig is definitely the worst role we can give them, imo. I do not approve of giving the scum two extra kills. As of now I am undecided on whether the rb or the rolecop.

I really do not like the idea of a 2-shot vig, as it seems that he or she can easily kill two extra townspeople within the first two nights?

The encryptor is interesting, but I like the fact that it is a one-time thing, and it might not be used in time, if the player who is the encryptor does not PM in time.

Godfather and Roleblocker seem okay to me.

I do not like the idea of a rolecop either, as if the game is drawn out, he could know the roles of several players.

godfather (where i play mafia at least) is pretty much standard in all mafia games, so good choice there.


now, i think encrypter+rolecop is a deadly conmbination, as it gives the mafia valuable information which they can then hide from us.

however, an encrypter on it's own pretty much leaves the mafia in the dark almost as much as us (correct me if i'm wrong).

My fear in voting vig to start with was that they could end up with rolecop and vig. They'd then be able to find and kill the innocent power-roles without affecting their normal killing, which was too strong for my liking.

Now that that combination is no longer possible I think it is better to try and keep them in the dark as much as possible - they already know exactly what roles we have, but this way they won'y know where those roles are at least.
