Once upon a time, all was well in town of Peaceville. Recently however, news of the evil mafia arriving in town has stirred Peaceville into CHAOS. Can the town eradicate the evil before it is too late?
Still alive and well:
1. Peter Venkman
3. DeathSauce (replacing DLMF on Day 1)
7. Norinel
Dead:
4. Alasdair, mafia, lynched Day 1
6. Mr Stoofer, townie, killed Night 1
5. zePPeLiN, townie, lynched Day 2
2. Drunky McDrinksalot, Cop, killed Night 2
Below are the possibles roles for this game:
2 players are
mafia
:
You are the member of the Mafia! Your Mafia partner is ______. During the day you probably will need to blend in with the town and try to lynch pro-town players using your vote. Then during the night, you can talk with your partner on who to kill and any other conspiratorial things. You will win when all pro-town players are eliminated.
Either 0 or 1 person is a
doctor
:
You are the Doctor. During each night you may choose to protect 1 player from death. However, you cannot protect yourself. You will win with the town when all mafia are eliminated.
Either 0 or 1 person is a
cop
:
You are the Cop. Every night you may investigate 1 player to see if they are good/innocent or evil/guilty. You will win with the town when all mafia are eliminated.
Either 3, 4, or 5 players are townies:
You are a Townie. Even though you don't have any night abilities, you have the power to vote to lynch someone during the day. You win with the town when all mafia are eliminated.

. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted.
Please be attentive and
unvote
, if necessary, before casting a new vote. This is not
required
, but I’d appreciate it.
Executions will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, his pleas are useless and any attempts to unvote will be unheeded. You may
vote: no lynch
– majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without a death.
The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so.
Once your death scene has been posted, you’re dead. Stop typing.
Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts
Don’t quote any PMs from me.
If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. I will not wait for you – if you do not submit a choice to me, tough! No choice will be made.
If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread.
Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate – don’t leave us hanging.

Seriously DLMF, you've been around long enough to know that putting someone -2 to lynch is a big deal.
I'm only going to give you one "oh I didn't notice!" pass. The whole point of this game is to read posts. If you can't keep up with 3 random votes you might not have the attention span to deal with what could potentially be a 30 page thread.
@Stoofer: DLMF's vote was stupid, but I'm not ready to put someone at -2 to lynch. I've made a note of what he did, and at this point that is enough.
CDB's First Lesson wrote:It is NOT scummy to place a second vote on a player when it is four to lynch. The reason for this is because yes, while it does expose the player to a possible quicklynch by the mafia, it'd be very obvious who the mafia were if they did that, and so the town would win the game very easily. It IS, however, dangerous to put the third vote on a player. That doesn't mean you should be afraid to, though! At some point we will have to lynch someone.

QFT. In general, you should consider how many votes are on someone already when you're casting a vote, but for the second vote on Day 1 of a Newbie game a second vote shouldn't be completely unheard of.
Random.org told me to vote for Stoofer too, but I think I'll hold off for the time being.
