I'm happy with my vote on tsq for now.

By the way, could tsq, Wuffles, and everyone else who doesn't have an avatar please get one? It would help me be able to tell you guys apart.

Well, GhettoAnthony certainly needs one. I'll send Luna and Blue prods too, safe than sorry and all that.

Yeah, same here. And the preview button and submit buttons are in opposite positions here than on 'sal or WifoM, dammit.

I had that problem. It's due to the filetype you're uploading. Try a jpg, that worked for me.

I'm actually happy with not voting at the moment. My biggest suspect is elias still, based off of his extremely defensive reactions.

I could be persuaded to go lurker hunting. But only for Ziliu.

Can I ask why?...It just strikes me as odd as to why you would lurker hunt only some lurkers?

El Oh El.

And Because Zilziu is like a lurker second class. He popped up once, jumped on a bandwagon, and has disapeared since. So he's a lurker + suspicious.

"Lurker second class". I kinda like that actually. 8)

But seriously. Maybe it's just a matter of style, but I only like to post when I feel I have something contributive to say. But when I do, I usually try to write out all accumulated feelings into one post. Makes everything easier to read later. Oh, and I usually actually read the thread before I post. But I'm gonna call all this a difference in playstyle, I mean, I fully respect your way of playing the game, but I would like you to not attack me simply based on mine.

However, as for the accusation about "jumping on a bandwagon", I would like to point you to my #71, and re-state that I did include reasons in my bandwagonning vote, and would like to know why you didn't in yours.

im confused. you quoted me and then said that ziliu sounded suspicious. just so you know, those comments were made by me, not ziliu.

Eh, I think excessive lurker hunting is a scum tell.

This always happens in slow-starting games. There are 1 or 2 people who are insistent that LURKERS EMERGE and account for themselves, posting "X hasn't written, FOS X" and "Mod, let's get a prod on Z". This is an easy way to be "active" without doing anything confrontational, and I don't buy it as pro-town play. It's a bigger deal if we get all the way to lynch without hearing from everyone... but at this stage, I'm not sure it matters all that much.

FOS Wuffles

Incidentally, but I have yet to see a game in which scum have been true lurkers all the way to the end as you suggest. Everyone always worries about it, but it never seems to happen. Yeah, WIFOM I guess, but whatever. I think the temptation to "fit in" as scum is too strong to ignore the thread entirely.

hah, you should have seen Newbie 269, that just finished today - Vismaior lurked the whole time, and emerged at the crux, when there were five players left with 2 players with 2 votes each. At this point, lurker Vis comes and kills the townie, Nk's me, and is left with one townie and two mafia the next day.

You're absolutely right about one thing though, that your argument is total WIFOM, and for that reason, please do not attempt to disprove my arguments using logic like that.

Using WIFOM to counter my arguments is not the way to prevent lurker hunts, lawl.

I wasn't trying to disprove you. I was trying to point out that not all of us care about lurkers that much. At least, not at the point where we need to vote them for no other reason. If they're lurking, the mod will prod them. Then they'll post something or be replaced.

M'eh, whatever. Carry on.

Hell, I don't care about lurkers either - but with the TSQ scandal dying down, I wanted to keep discussion going.

Lurker hunts, at very least, always provoke conversaton ^_^
