Everyone has confirmed, but we're still waiting on a couple of night choices. I'll send prods at the offending people now.

Day 1 will begin at 2:00 GMT on the 4th, regardless of choices being in.

Bad news has this nasty habit of dragging people together. For a small mining village in the scottish highlands, you were about the most unsociable group of people to walk the earth. When the killing started, it took you two weeks for you to even realise that you were the only people left.

Naturally distateful of this state of affairs, you decide to ring your local MP. He agrees your problem is a serious one, and a fine, strong, lynching rope is airlifted in immediately. Shame it happened so late. You can't get anything more done tonight. Oh well. Guess you'll have to meet up in the morning. What could possibly go wrong, eh?

Wrapped in thick winter coats, you all meet outside the fountain in the square at daybreak, as planned. Heads are counted, and the lynching rope is hung from a nearby tree.

Despite apparently being Ghetto, Anthony has failed to respond to my kind, good-natured prodding, and now he must be moderated. I will arbitrarily give bluemonick another 24 hours, and if he fails to post content then, then he will also be replaced.

I just checked Ghetto Anthonys Newbie game he was currently in....They replaced him, then he posted his PM...He was the doc there too.....Thinking that someone needs to teach Anthony some MS etiquette.

Primate, can you get ghetto blacklisted or something? That's a really bad thing to do to the town, and if he's done it before, he should definitely lose the right to play mafia on this site...

I've told mith, and he's telling the list mods, so if he turns up again he will be questioned, but thats about all I can do, really. If he's doing stuff like this, I doubt we'll see him again. I'm not exactly crazy about the idea of blacklisting anyway.

, may I ask what you will do at the end of the deadline if we have no lynch?...There are a few options, but I'm most likely expecting a no lynch for D1 if the deadline comes up....The fact that our Doc got mod killed really sucks and I think that we need to do our best to lynch scum today!

[7] During the day, I may set a deadline. Once the minute of the deadline hits, the game goes into twilight and nothing relevant may be posted. If there was no majority in the votes, a lynch will occur if a player has at least half the votes cast so far. Otherwise, there will be a no lynch.

If more than one person has the same lynching number, first one to get there gets strung up.

TSQ shoots himself in the head. You guys look around and say "Mafia like shooting themselves in the head, right?" "They do that, yeah?"

But NO, mafia do not do that! Mafia do not have a habit of shooting themselves in the head. It is not only uncommon, but also unlikely, un-needed, and other things beginning with Un. So, we are forced to assume that TSQ was not a mafia. Indeed this is true, for he was a Vanilla Townie. o, how sad for his death we are.

O well, Luna says. "We'll get them tomorrow. Lets all go to bed now, fresh start and all that". "No", says Arafax "I am not sleepy, though I would quite like some hot chocoloate" So Luna goes to get some hot chocolate for Arafax. Whilst she is out of the room, Elias says to Ziliu, "so can we kill them all now?" Ziliu replies "K". And you all die. Except Arafax, who was their scumbuddy, and Lowell, who manages to cower in fear in a funny enough way for them not to kill him. Arafax was

From a mods point of view, the mafia deserved their win. I know I had perfect info and all that, but not lynching Arafax that first day was unforgivable. Both sides were hit by needing replacement at some point, TSQ and Ziliu, but getting the 5th and 6th replacements for a mini was pretty much impossible. I hated TSQ's Conduct in this game, simply hated it he said he was going to lurk, which I was ok with, but he didn't. Instead he tried to screw the town and himself over. GJ there. The town was pretty much obliterated by Ghetto Anthonies suicide, which actually cost you guys a lynch, pretty much, and gave the mafia free target reign, though after looking at M-M's game, I am glad he wasn't in the mafia.

The original gimmick for this game was that several of the towns power roles were filled by survivors, mainly because I am tired of people who wish to lynch neutrals simply because they aren't town, and the mafia who try and support this, so I wanted an example of a game I could show them where the neutrals behaved like townies. And they did, possibly even more so than the town, in this case. In my original draft one of the masons was a survivor too, an idea I still love, but I didn't want to get to the anti-climax of a 3-man endgame with a survivor, so I changed it last minute. That only left us with two, which I kind of disliked, but still thought it carried the idea across ok.

1. You are a Neutral Survivor Roleblocker. All you have to do is be alive in endgame and you win! simple, eh? But there's more. Each night you may send in a target. That target will be unable to perform any night action that they would have normally had.

Win Condition: Being alive at the end of the game, whether it is with the mafia or the town.

Luna

2. You are a Mason. Your partner is 3, who you know to be a neutral suvivor. You may talk to each other at any time.

Win condition: Pro-town

3. You are a Mason. Your partner is Lunalovegood, who you know to be an innocent townie. You may talk to your mason partner at any time.

Win condition: You win with the town.

4. You are the town's faithful vigilante. Each night you may smack someone upside the head with your vigging stick, making them so dizzy that they will have to go and have a good lie down. Something I should probably add, your kills are unstoppable by any means, roleblock, doc or whatever. Bulletproofs, though,will still survive.

Win condition: Destroy all killing roles. Except yourself. Obv.

Lowell

5. You are a neutral survivor. Look sharp!

Win condition: Being alive at the end of the game, whether it is with the mafia or the town.

6. You are a bog-standard Townie. You're an amazing basketweaver, but as that skill doesn't really aid a lynch mob too well, you figured it was best to stay quiet about it.

Win condition: Pro-town.

Ghetto Anthony

7. You are an orangutang who got lost from the zoo and ended up in the lynch mob . Each night you may use your huge monkey arms to protect someone from the evil mafia, working from the theory that no-one in the right mind would start a fight with an orangutang. So, aside from all the fluff, you are a doctor. Submit a choice each night, and if that person would have died before your intervention, they now don't. You may not target yourself.

Win condition: You win when all anti-town killing roles are dead.

8. You are a townie. Kill the scums pls.

Win condition: You win when all anti-town killing roles are dead.

9. You're a townie, with one extra twist. A mysterious day-vig ability. You may place a 'vote' on someone, and if a bunch of other people also do it, you kill your day-vig target in a elaborate killing scene known as a 'lynch'. Use this unique power wisely.

Abilities: none

Win condition: Pro-town.

10.You boyz are da scumz! Youse giez are musclin' in on the turf o' dese scrawny townies. Grind their bones to make your bread! Grr. At night, you guys can chat to your hearts desire, and also send in a nightkill choice and a killer agreed on between you.

You're also the Godfather. It's your duty to send in the nightkill target of the night also, the person committing the nightkill. To make up for this, you have immunity to investigation.

Win condition: Destroy all pro-town forces.

11. You boyz are da scumz! Youse giez are musclin' in on the turf o' dese scrawny townies. Grind their bones to make your bread! Grr. At night, you guys can chat to your hearts desire, and also send in a nightkill choice and a killer agreed on between you.

You're also a really smooth guy. If you aren't the person doing the nightkill, you may keep one of the town distracted with all your fancy jibber-jabber, and stop them performing any night actions they might have.

Win condition: Destroy all pro-town forces.

Without searching through Cpols PM box, I don't know who got *which* townie PM, but I don't figure it matters too much.

Question for all: Does anyone have any suggestions of how to play as a nuetral? Particularly a neutral without any abilities? I was pretty much confused as hell.

I would have claimed your role as soon as the vig died.

The town can't afford to lynch you and the mafia obviously don't want to nightkill you. All you have to do is avoid being marked as a lying scum trying to ease their way through.

As an aside, something I just thought of: I can't help but feel a little sory for Spectrumvoid, who had her vote on mafia pretty much continously D1, then vigged a townie that night. I'm still tempted to give her town MVP despite that blip, as her voting record was just that good.
