Open 151 - Vengeful Mafia
The mafia had come to town a few months ago. They had set up shop right under your noses and began a deadly and subversive campaign of drug trafficking, prostitution and blackmail. They weren't the kind of enemy you could easily spot - they blended in, hiding in plain sight (and if HBO did a TV series about them, you'd probably watch it).
However, one night, three of the townsfolk decided they had had enough! It was time to do something about it. They grabbed their guns and followed some suspicious figures to an abandoned warehouse on the waterfront. Each assumed that they were tracking the mafia, but how could they be sure?
The mafia are not that easy to trick, and are dangerous when cornered. They locked the warehouse, trapping the three vigilantes inside.
The five occupants now meet on the dusty floor. With nowhere to run, mob justice rules.

1. Votes must be bolded as
Vote: {Playername}
, otherwise they will not count. Unvotes are encouraged but not necessary. Once a player has reached a simple majority of votes, they may not post in the game anymore, at all, for any reason. There is one exception: if a Townie is lynched on Day 1, they must choose another player to be immediately killed via a post of the format Kill: {Playername}
, and nothing else. There is no Night Phase, and no Mafia Night Kill.2. If you don't post within 72 hours (3 days), you will receive a prod. If you do not post for 120 hours (5 days), or would receive your third prod, I will replace you. Please be considerate and announce any V/LA in the game thread, whether it will be over 72 hours or not.
3. Deadlines will appear at my discretion, though as this is a small game I wouldn't expect one to appear unless the activity seriously drops. If a deadline is reached, the player with the most votes will be lynched. In the event of a tie, the player who reached their votecount earlier will be lynched.
4. Do not discuss this game outside the thread. There is one exception: the Mafia may post in their Quicktopic thread only (so no PMs, etc.).
5. Don't use small/invisible text. If you can edit your posts, don't. Don't quote any communication you have with me about this game.
6. Please bold your questions to me in a post, or send me a PM - I will happily answer it! If you post publicly, I will respond publicly; if you send me a PM, I will respond by PM.
7. I will attempt to post a votecount every 24 hours. There is no 'mod colour'.
8. I reserve the right to modkill you, whether you break the rules of this game or this site, but I really don't want to, so play nice, have fun and may the best team win.
