I'm back as well.
I reread everything, and there's nothing really new to comment on, except for the clear contradictions in roffman's points (which people have already stated).
How does this color detecting program work, roffman? Is it something we all have on our computers or is it a special program? If it's something we all should have, then please tell us how to use it. In what format do colors come up? Would turquoise be abbreviated or something of that nature? Basically - explain the contradictions everyone's pointed out.ShowI saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by

Capricious:
Your arguments are bad.

Let's get a random bandwagon started.
On a side note, if everyone has a different cloak color, the color affiliations will be meaningless.
Why would he reveal he had info about cloak colors pre-claim if people where already claiming? Lets just give the scum a heads up.

Why would his cloak have to be the exact same color?
So let me get this straight, you have found a grand total of three! scum in this game through mass claiming, but feel mass claiming is not worth it in another game.roffman wrote:in my limited experience of mass claims (so far just one) it is really not worth it.
Nice job telling us he caught scum. BTW, mass claims are awkward without this kind of info.

So your out is to say the mod is lying.
Finally- You claim to have infiltrated the scum wearing a cloak of friendship. Why would you have a turquoise swirl that sets you off from the rest of scum, then? Wouldn't the scum recognize you as a traitor, then? Do any of your points make sense?
Despite this, roffman isn't scum, because he has no incentive to be putting himself at the center of attention, unless he is a mistaken town. I am fairly certain that the scum are distributed between the lurkers and the people edging roffman in their unholy endeavors.

Hah. How come they're bad?
I see some validity too them. Perhaps a bit too dogmatically stated and self-interested, I'm not really sure, but there are contradictions in roffman's posts that we should discuss.ShowI saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by

@QF: The program was called CCcolor. Me and one of my friends wrote it as a major project in year 12. Basically it detects colors in the standard RGB format, displays them as 3 variables, and annouces the color through the microsoft office voice after reading from a comparison table that was pre-loaded into the program based off a full vision color pallete.Town - 3/5

That's interesting. What made you decide to make it? I mean, I understand you're colorblind, but since it takes a lot of work, how often do you actually need something to decode colors for you?ShowI saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by

You stated the problem. All of them work towards extracting Capricious from the scenario without us potentially lynching roffman and revealing him as telling the truth.QuantumFruit wrote: Perhaps a bit too dogmatically stated and self-interested, I'm not really sure, but there are contradictions in roffman's posts that we should discuss.
BTW, I'm willing to trust someone who is being attacked on fairly semantic issues over info on the scum as opposed to the accused. I know color blind people, and what roffman is saying seems fair.
Besides, if he's lying and fake claiming a genetic disorder to win an online game, w/e nice life. (No offense meant if you aren't roffman, I don't doubt you at all in that respect).Away Wednesday the 24th through the 31st-

Armlx-
You just have to understand that it seemed like a very convenient excuse. Besides, I still want to hear about alleged role. He has already told us enough about it to make him a target for the mafia - why is it that he can't give us anything further to make us believe what he's saying? The ways that he's described his roles just don't match up.-

I will buy this error. Thank you for making a valid argument. Your first point: Why would he reveal he had info about colors? He shouldn't. But that's not the point here, the point is that he was arguing that colors might be meaningless, when he could've shut up about the subject if he really had god info, and scum wouldn't be the wiser.
2: Why would his cloak have to be the same exact color? Possibly, just possibly because that's what roffman is claiming: ergo,
3: I was trying to look at it from his supposed perspective: he found a large number of scum through mass claiming, but dismisses mass claiming as counterproductive. That is odd. You were just trying to twist the situation.roffman wrote:At Anix, i'd just like to mention that my cloak color is the exact same shade as mentioned in the wiki article by Capricious, and also claimed by Ration
4: Iamout to say the mod might be lying, mods lie all the time
As demonstrated by the fact that:
Mod tells us we all have different colors
Some of us claim to have the same color.
Analysis will lead from the above two statements that the Mod or some of us are lying or misguided.
5: I feel roffman is town, because he has no reason to do what he did as scum. You call this buddying up. Nice try.
armlx:
retarded (politically correct terms, misguided) town?
scum?
That is the question.-

Observation: mightn't the scum be scared to reveal their color and therefore say it was that of another player? Don't leave out the fact that you were one of the ones who claimed to have the same color, Cap.Capricious wrote:Mod tells us we all have different colors

Cap:
His info wasn't so good till you all revealed colors. Or he could have been fighting it to stall out his color claim till later as he knew it was relevant.
He already explained the same color thing. Shows up as the same on his program.
Mass claiming is bad in a non-broken set up Cap. Apparently, this one is broken? What more do you want?
The mod lying thing still stands.
As for the buddying up, you are trying to get him to doubt his information by not attacking him for it.

If you wish for a specific player to receive a prod or warning of replacement, ask. I ust realized I totally neglected that in the rules, since I prefer the policy that it's the players' responsibilities to keep the game going.
A man walks up on the hill. "Hi everyone," he says, "I'm Chris!"
A voice bellows out: "THE POWER OF CHRIS COMPELS YOU"
Chris then quotes the following:
