I have no problem with his post because I don't see how a post like his could benefit scum. Change of gaming style is a null tell, and I don't see how that particular little speech would benefit a scum anyhow. I think that the discussion on random voting is drivel also. Bias behind random votes are too hard to divine and too easy to disguise whether from town or scum to be important. What matters is the throwing of accusations, bandwagons etc. That said I also can understand that it's a nice place to start a discussion.
