You seem to be suggesting that McMenno bussed from the start, out of the blue, and hung on stubbornly even when the Creature wagon seemed to fall apart multiple times, and when switching over to an alternate compromise wagon at deadline would have been practically free of suspicion.

I don't buy that assessment. Scum bus, but they don't do it for zero reason, they don't tend to do it quietly or stubbornly, and when it doesn't seem to be working, they look at other options.

I'm not.

Here's the thing - bussing for no reason and out of the blue just doesn't happen as often as it's talked about. A teammate is a valuable resource. Distancing occurs, but it's a big waste to eliminate a teammate. If you completely sacrifice one out of the blue, it's got to be dramatic enough to earn you a ticket to endgame. Claiming a guilty on a teammate, for example. Counterclaiming them. You don't do it quietly and stubbornly.

The other way to bus is for Towncred when things turn against your buddy. There's motion towards their lynch, so you jump on and ride the wave. Again, it's better to do this vocally, or at least obviously.

McMenno was quiet, early, and stubborn. That wasn't a bus.

Pine, Scum don't wait to the very last minute to bus a Goon if the only thing that is needed is their votes to complete the lynch. No chance in hell scum were completely off Creature's lynch when it was a 3-way between Creature, gerry, and Sly. In fact, if anything, the early departers of gerry and Sly onto Creature are your best bets for scum, as are the people who parked there and didn't stay there. If anything, the last votes on Creature in the waning hours of the day phase are all town.

I'm also completely open to the idea that the scum team might be completely incapable of leading town around by the nose, and were likely amicable to the plans set by the louder voices.


Also, if Pine is hated, I doubt scum have a 5-man team. Hell, Pine shouldn't be allowed to live simply because he brings LyLo a day earlier, and a 5-man team also closes that LyLo gap.

Unfortunately the game does make sense with nacho as scum but I haven't felt this compromised in my ability to get a handle on a game since smite and I don't feel comfortable really making that read. I'm hoping that bit of lingering will run its course by the end of day and I'll be back to feeling centered and good,
